I just bought a liter of 100mg nic 50/50 and was wondering for ease of mixing if I should mix some up at 8% for the freezer. I usually make my juices at 6% with about 15-20% flavor this way all I have to do is add the flavor to the nic base. Does anybody do this? Any suggestions?

Does any body have a good recipe for Berry Crunch? I have some coming today and wanted to try a few recipes out. I was thinking something along the lines 8-10 % starting point with the berry crunch, with some marshmallow and a few creams and Vanillas to round it out. maybe some of tfa berrys also.

I posted this already (somewhere else) ... but, maybe I can get a good response here ... :)

So, are there any TPA flavors that ADD BODY & DEPTH to juice? I've already tried Bavarian Cream, Vanilla Custard, Cheesecake, Cotton Candy, Marshmallow (Vienna Cream and vape Wizard, too - yes, not TPA). I like my juice really sweet, and with lots of flavor and body. So far, not having a lot of luck (they smell great, but don't taste anything like they smell - and no body).
(Mixing them at 20%, 64pg/40vg).

Any suggestions? Help. :)

Thanks!
Have you tried TFA Sweet Cream? It's supposed to round out flavors as well as sweeten a little. Might help.

I have found that adding a couple drops of a mild tobacco, like TFA Smooth, will bring the flavors together, and adds body.
You don't taste the tobacco, but it really can make a difference.
Even friends who hate tobacco flavors, have gotten back to me saying "who knew"

Here's the tapered syringes I use for VG, as well:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001QQBH3Q?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage

These can be cut to enlarge the openings to plenty large to achieve the flow rate you want, even with the thicker bases. All I use anymore, other than the larger syringes above. I find them both very useful. YMMV....fyi...:toast:
Hi Bill,
Your post has reminded me of a question that has been bugging me since I started my own DIY journey; how do you reconcile the fluid/volume difference of any/various needle/tip diameters and lengths? (Especially something as large as the item you cited in the above quote.)

I have read all of your blogs, and as many of your "tutoring" posts as I can find, as your logic and methodology makes sense to me. I like the simplicity of your 100DT method for test batches. But I don't find it practical for my usual 15-30 milliliter "normal" batches.
I'm 53 years old with crappy eyes and found the syringes difficult to read so I looked for an alternative. I settled on using pipettes (the glass ones with a manual pump as opposed to the disposable plastic ones with the squeeze bulb integrated on top). I like having the graduations spread further apart and the greater accuracy they provide for smaller volumes (the 1 ml. pipette gives me 1/100 ml. control).
Of course, they are not without their own possibility of error, there is always some(?) amount left clinging to the walls of the pipette (the greater the viscosity <i.e. VG> the more residual clinging).

I usually mix in batches of 15 to 30 ml. and have never mixed more than 60 ml.. I am looking for the easiest, most repeatable (accurate) method, to make my recipes. I would appreciate any thoughts, experience, observations you might have.

Thank you for all your controbutions you have made here on ECF, and more personally, to my own DIY journey! :D

This screams mix by weight, a small scale with .001g resolution can be had for under $20.00 dispense directly from dripper top bottles, fast, accurate, little to no clean up, back-lit digital display easy on the eyes. Teamed up with Hotrods calculator and your set.

I completely disregard whatever may or may not be in the needle; even with my tiny (5ml) test batches, it seems a small enough amount to be utterly insignificant. I have enough to worry about, without throwing in MICROliters. YMMV.

I was given this recipe they wanyed me to make it is
Cappuccino 8
Irish cream 8
Marshmallow 2

To me the capp seems to high so i need tour suggestions iif it would be to strong

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
I haven't tried the Capp but the Double Chocolate blew my head off at 5%. I am actually using that mix (was suppose to be a chocolate custard cake) as a flavor in some other recipes LOL

If it even sounds like it could be a strong or dominate flavor, I start off at 1%. Just sayin.

Does Bill's Magic Vapor still post on this forum?.

I'm reading through this thread and so far I'm on page 193. I would like to say a big thank you to Bill as I've wrote down so many of his recipes and I'm looking forward to trying them out especially the pink starburst one.

Thank you so much Bill

I found a recipe called "Looper" - needs Berry Crunch, and Fruit Circles and some creams - IT'S DIVINE!!!!!! The post I saw was from @Hans Wermhat, but I think I've seen it a couple other places too (so props to whomever is appropriate)

DIY Looper clone

FA Fresh Cream 3% - I used 2% Dulce de Leche, since I don't have the FA Fresh Cream
TFA Fruit Circles 7%
TFA Berry Crunch 2.5%
TFA Bavarian Cream 2%
TFA Marshmallow 2%
TFA Sweet Cream 1.5%

I haven't been able to commit to a single recipe to feel comfortable with mixing more than 30ml at a time. I really like several of the Dropbox recipes but don't vape more than a few ml or less a day.

I don't mix more than 30 ml either....I get too bored, like variety...even if it's a good recipe, I just need variety...never was too into an adv, or one vendor only at all times, know it works for many, me...nah...

Mixed papaya lassi couple days ago, one with tfa Greek yogurt, another with cap creamy yogurt...Will report when get around to them

Juicy lemon is a cap, have it, but never tried yet honestly.

The only one I've liked well enough to mix more than 30ml is my strawberry and cream, which I've mixed as much as 60ml of. However nowadays I'm dropping either nicotine or WTA levels on a weekly basis, so I haven't been mixing more than 30-40ml at any one time. Once I get rid of the WTA and stabilize the nic level, I can mix much greater volume -- I just emptied my first 100ml of the shisha strawberry, so that'll be my first big mixing of my strawberry and cream. :D Guess I really need to get some citric acid, so I can stabilize it at about day 3 after mixing.

Andria

All this ^^^ I have Flavor ADD. I have a LOT of bottles in process at any given time. If it's something I *REALLY* like, I mix 30ml. Otherwise, it's just 15mL - especially if it's a new recipe....

He does poke his head in occasionally. Make sure to find the DropBox and Bill's blogs. The dropbox is INSANE. It has virtually ALL Bill's recipes, and many others that have been contributed along the way. They are formatted for the e-JuiceMeUp calculator to instantly read the recipes.

Hope I'm not stepping out of line by responding to your inquiry to Bill. I too, use pipettes instead of syringes (but the plastic disposable kind) My 1mL's are graduated to 0.25mL I NEVER get an exact measurement, and sometimes will round by .05-.1, just to get close to a graduated line. I can't tell you if it makes a difference or not, but it gives *ME* very vapeable juices every time.

I know there are many who enjoy the precision, but because taste is subjective, I'm not convinced that your 8% is any better than my 7.5%. If 8% is what works for you, that's how you have to make your juice. That being said, you may have to adjust your volumes to take into account your mixing equipment. If a recipe calls for 2%, you might have to measure to 1.5% with your equipment to make it work for *you*.
