I agree, all the flavor dumping. What a waste. Pif it to someone or trade out or something. It would be a good chance to swap flavors you didn't like for some you haven't tried yet, or for something you know you like. If you don.t like it, there probably wouldn't be much used from a bottle. Just trade for same sizes.
Because they'll run from the delicious aromas that you are scienceing, because you don't know what's in it & it could grab you by the throat, & stab you in the face with it's lethal nic! Good thinking!

So, I mixed up my first three! Bill's starburst, a cinnamon pear Danish and a Tahitian Dragon idea I had.
The starburst is good, although I'm thinking I might switch from strawberry to something else. The cinnamon pear is nice, but I think it needs more cream. The dragon turned out pretty good for my first original recipe, however I think I need to tone down the strawberry, up the dragonfruit and add more vanilla.
But that's the good thing about DIY. I can do that!
The only mishap is that now my kitchen smells of strongly of strawberry because I twitched as I was picking up the vial and spilled a few mls on the table... eh, s**t happens.
...I'm gonna go play mad scientist some more...

True that. Not really upset about it to start with other than the fact that it's wasted. The smell is a non issue.
Although I think I'm discovering I don't like strawberry as a main component in recipes...
The recipes I was playing with are
Bill's Starburst
Strawberry 8%
Sweet cream 4% (I used DX)
Vanilla swirl 4%
Cotton candy 2%
Sweet and tart 2%
CinnaPear
Pear 10%
Cinnamon Danish 5% (I used DX)
French vanilla 3% (I used French vanilla creme, same percentage)
Cotton candy 4%
Tahitian Dragon
Dragonfruit 8%
Strawberries and cream 5%
Vanilla swirl 5%
Strawberry 2%
(Really wanted a pure vanilla, but didn't have one)
Any suggestions or am I heading in the right direction?
Just got my order in from TFA today and started my first test batches. And I must say, this is fun. Made my version of RY4.
RY4(Asian) 12%
Caramel. 3%
Hazelnut 3%
Sweet cream 3%
Coffe 5%
Don't know if it's beginners luck or what, but it's really good without steeping, I did run a few cycles through the US though. It's a little dark due to the coffee, so coils will probably gunk up pretty quick, but worth it.
Also made a batch with toasted marshmallow base and a batch with honey circles base, both turned out surprisingly good.
I'll definitely be ordering more after payday.

How do you guys wait to try them? I just mixed up three more recipes and they're sitting in the mini crock pot heating up so I can mix them well. I'm like bouncing in my seat cuz I wanna try them!
And a weird question for those of you that do 100DT... approximately how many mls are you getting? I'm using a 1ml syringe with an 18ga needle for my flavors and a 10ml with 14ga for my VG. One drop of flavor is 1% and 1 drop of VG is 2% because the drops are twice as big (to me), and using this math, I'm only getting about 1.5ml per test...

Your definitely not the only one.I found out pretty quick that heavy strawberry is not my thing,i really don't even care for it as a background flavor in most juices.At first,i thought it was just the Tfa strawberry,but now i've tried several,and none are good to me as a main flavor,i have found a few juices that it works good in the background though.
