A friend of mine gave me some strawberry shortcake liquid from the local b&m. That stuff is awesome but there's no way I'll pay $11 for 15 mls. Does anyone have a good strawberry shortcake recipe??

No, this liquid tastes exactly like strawberry shortcake. You get the strawberries, the cake it's sitting on and the whipped cream. That stuff is soooo good!!I don't have one for shortcake. Have you tried the strawberry cheesecake recipe from the Dropbox recipes? It's one of my favorites.
The strawberry taste in this liquid tastes a lot like Sweet Strawberry. I don't have any FW yellow cake though.Just saw this in another thread, no personal experience. I'm sure you could sub in TFA flavors but you might have to play with the percentages.:
This next one is a Strawberry Shortcake flavor, if you care for that kind of thing:
8% Sweet Strawberry (Capella)
7% Yellow Cake (Flavor West)
5% Whipped Cream (Capella)
5% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (Capella)

But I'll give that strawberry cheesecake a try too! I love strawberries!!
Me too! I have to get paid first though! Lol That won't be until next week.I don't have any FW flavors yet. I've picked up a few Cap and one Lorann. I might have to try the yellow cake though.

I can vouch for the Yellow Cake. Though not a TFA flavoring, I consider it a fundamental flavoring, and one of only two or three non-TFA flavorings that is essential. TFA Cupcake, though, also works well in combination with other flavorings.I don't have any FW flavors yet. I've picked up a few Cap and one Lorann. I might have to try the yellow cake though.
If you could only have 10 flavors what might you choose?I can vouch for the Yellow Cake. Though not a TFA flavoring, I consider it a fundamental flavoring, and one of only two or three non-TFA flavorings that is essential. TFA Cupcake, though, also works well in combination with other flavorings.

I can make 80% of my recipes with these ingredients. The ones I cannot make are one-offs with very specific flavorings like Mango Custard, Dragonfruit, Coffee Drinks, Key Lime and Pecan Pies, Pralines and Cream, Root Beers/Floats, Bubblegums, Specialty Candy Bars like Almond Joy, Tobaccos, Oreo's, etc. If you like any of those flavorings, then, by all means, add a 4 ounce bottle and enjoy! I love, for example, peanut butter cup, oreo's, Twinkies, Donuts, Lemonade, etc.![]()
I've probably left out a few, and maybe even your favorites, but these are the ones that immediately come to mind for me. I have over 200 flavorings, though I rarely use more than about 30 of them these days. I've tried to reflect these preferences in my recipes, and the many recipes we see on this thread in the recommendations above. The immense variety of flavorings and possibilities is what makes DIY such an interesting hobby. We can literally make almost anything. Once you learn the basics, you'll be making recipes on paper, nailing them in only a time or two of 100DT's, understanding the construction of the combination flavorings, and the genre's they represent, etc. It's a blast, easy to learn, and while not abundantly intuitive at first, anyone can pick this DIY up just by making a few of the many great recipes on this thread from the many, many great members who share their efforts and wonderful juices. In time, sometimes immediately, you'll be making great juice of your own creation, mixing to a flavoring from scratch, and able to identify four or five ingredients in every mix just by smelling it, and vaping it. It's really amazing to smell a juice and instantly name five of the ingredients, but in time, you'll be able to do this. Just takes some time in the vape lab, is all! Best of luck!![]()
You will use these ingredients in 99% of your mixes. Of course, there are many others, but if I were starting out, knowing what I now know, these are the first ones I would buy. Single ingredient mixes will only vary rarely work, perhaps only 5 - 10% of the time. We do need the creams, vanillas and sweeteners which not only add depth, richness and texture, but also act as primary flavor enhancers. They work wonders.![]()

If I were limited to ten flavors, I would go about it a bit differently. I would seek out recipes that sounded good to me and order the ingredients for those recipes, and then build on my flavorings over time. It really does take about 30 - 50 flavorings, though, to get all the basics that will accomplish say 75% of the recipes that we see on the thread, and, because our preferences are all different, who knows how to make such a list? I only wish you good luck in your DIY and VapeQuest! If you could only have 10 flavors what might you choose?

What juice is that Kazz? That'd be a tough one... I have yet to manage to get a good juice to layer like that with such delicate flavors. Kinda like that Mango Pound Cake juice I bought a little while back.... sweet cakey mango goodness!![]()
Vapebase dot de or owl-dampfer dot de are dedicated base shops. For flavours I would recommend savevape dot nl, they obviously are in thr netherlands but they carry an enourmous amount of flavouring from many manufacturers.Anybody here know of a good source for flavorings, VG, PG, and Nic in Germany? We've got a new member who is very new to vaping who is interested in possibly getting into DIY. Thanks in advance!
The flavorings can last for years if stored properly. I can't recall a single flavor having gone bad yet, and I've been at it for four years. Good luck!80+ flavours? Wow. How can you get through that before they go bad? One must vape a lot of ml a day to make that work I guess?
