The State of Confusion
If any of ya'll use TFA essential oils in your concoctions an alternative source is:

WFMED
:thumb:

They also sell on Ebay!

Their quality is impeccable and great prices!

FYI: I mention this because TFA has for some time been reducing their stock of essential oils.

Water soluble oils, e.g. Lorann Naturals, mix well as excellent accents to Bill's shake-and-vape principle, in moderation. Use a variety in VG or VG/PG pre-mixed solution. That's the rubber test. Stick to water soluble and check for haze in advance with flavoring types. Caramel can sometimes serve to encourage emulsion, even a basic "burnt sugar". Testing oils with your nic base helps too as nic often impedes a final mix from going into solution or later into separation (precipitation). Ah, and then there's that wonderful fixer of last resort ACV (apple cider vinegar). Within reason and taste, it's fruity. If you like that sort of thing.

:D Good luck.

p.s. An alternative at comparable prices to Wizard if you can't find the "Natural's" you're lookin' for…Water Soluble Flavors | Confectionary Flavoring.

Finally came up with a mix that I think is good enough to post, that others may like, too. I haven't been able to put it down since last night, when I finished making it. I called it Lite because it's not a "knock your socks off", strong, Cream de Menthe taste, but you could certainly make it be like that!

All flavorings are TFA, and I make my mixes at 40PG/60VG 6mg nic. Made a 50mL bottle. Adjust accordingly, as always, to suit yourself.

Mint Choc. Cream Lite - (like Andes)

Vanilla Swirl - 8%
DX Sweet Cream - 4%
Milk Chocolate - 3%
Bittersweet Chocolate - 2%
Cream de Menthe - 2%
Sweetener - 4%

While the MC and the CdM both have ethyl alcohol in them, they're used in such small amounts that I didn't even have to let it evaporate off, like I usually do! Yours should be ready-to-vape as well once made.

Great work! :thumb:

Taste in vaping as anything is so subjective...what I think is the best thing since sliced bread you may loathe!

It's all about sharing ideas and having fun folks!

Slow down and enjoy!

The only times you will see me get , we'll just say "passionate" is if I perceive someone may be putting themselves or others at risk, as DIY does have some very real risks.

Vape on :vapor:

Cheers!

    Somewhere between here and there
    @Bill's Magic Vapor

I was wondering what your opinion is on long term nic storage? I have read where Kurt said that he suggested freezer storage and I saw someone else said room temp in a dark place. I have always just kept my nic in a cabinet in my basement and never usually order more than I can use in a year. Now I'm thinking that I better get a couple liters( which would last me a really long time) and store it. I have some 50 and 100ml glass bottles on the way and am trying to wait for MFS to do the $40 liter sale again.

I've always heard from the start,to keep only enough for a few months out at room temp, and keep the bulk in the freezer. When i bought my first bottle of nic,i kept it in a cool cabinet, and it got oxidized after just a few months.I now buy by the liter, and store in the freezer,i have some that has been in there for 2 years now,and it is just as clear as the day i got it.I keep 200ml at a time out now,and leave the rest cold until needed.
Not sure about MFS,but heartland vapes is where i get all my nic from, and they have it $44.99 a liter.

I happened across 1L @ 100mg/mL of "Throat Hit" nic from VapersTek for a net cost of about $37. I am not sure if they discontinued that line or not. TBH I can't really tell that much throat hit from it as opposed from their regular nic. I guess it really depends on the flavorings that may or may not mask the throat hit. I do drip it at 6mg/mL and it is not harsh to me.

I keep 120mL out in my "to-go" vape case (small 16" Stanley toolbox) and the rest is in the freezer in the original dark plastic bottle inside a Ziploc bag. That 120mL will last me almost a years worth of DIY.

I just picked up a liter at Heartland Vapes. That, combined with what I already have in the freezer should last me at least 3+ years.

    b.m. Thanks for the recommendation!!
No problem.I have several years worth in the freezer already, but due to yesterdays events,i am going to get another liter now,and hopefully in a few weeks i'll get another one.I absolutely don't want to run short later down the road.
