I'm here, when I'm here
Spreadsheet 'name' updated with 'in recipes', and the comment within the first couple rows updated as well.

No link change.

I think those screen shots posted are the other google documents YOU have opened or saved.

I have about 25 or so recipes to go through but, I'll add to the list what the average is of each I use.

This was my thought, the % you use them in your recipes.

I see it as this communities working sheet for a new flavor. Should we make it just solo %, max %, or average% ?

Was anyone else surprised that there are over 300 flavors?
Cool, after i put them in,then i started thinking maybe this was more for solo %,but i do like the idea of average use in general, because what it's used at for a recipe would give an idea of where that flavor is good at anyway,so that seems like a better idea to me anyway vs. just straight solo %,since most of the flavors really don't work all that great as a stand alone anyway..

I was shocked they had that many haha.I knew they had a bunch, but i figured maybe 200 or so,i was just a bit off haha.

I did a single flavor mix of the blood orange last night and tried it at 15%. It's not bad but missing something so I added one drop of em and that was better but not quite there. I'm thinking maybe some sweet and tart.

I edited my post on p. 707 about the OSDIY 22% off sale for Labor Day. Kimberly said there's only their 15% off going on for the month of September...no 22% off sale.

So I'm sorry I reposted the info. about it that I'd seen several pages before that on here.
I think I posted that wrong info, but did correct myself later.

Putting in an order today and Im looking at a TFA raspberry. Regular raspberry or raspberry sweet?
I've seen several recipes use the rasberry sweet,so i bought it,but haven't tried it yet.I also have the regular and i have tried it a few times, and personally i think that one is a horrid flavor haha,it may be ok at low %,i think i used it around 6-7% and it was very strong and not good to me at all.One day i will try the sweet,i hope it's better.

    TFA SWEETNER CONTAINS EM

Let's Talk About: Sweeteners (Eliquid Mixing Techniques)

In the link above, the section on "Sucralose" caught my eye, stating that TFA "Sweetners", was not just Sucralose in PG, but actually 5% Sucralose and 5% Ethyl Maltol (EM).

"TFA Sweetener is sucralose at 5% with Ethyl Maltol at 5%. Cap Super Sweet is sucralose at a 10% solution. FW Sweetener is just like TFA's. And if you purchase plain sucralose that's already diluted, then it's usually at a 5-10%."

More searching found the same here:

TFA Sweetener – A.B. Dada's DIY data depository

Downloaded the TFA SDS from here:

    https://shop.perfumersapprentice.com/msds/342300.pdf

This shows 5% Sucralose and 5% "3-Hydroxy-2-methyl-4-pyrone", which after googling that, looks like MALTOL.

Since we know that both ingredients are used for different results, I'm surprised the Ethyl Maltol is not listed on my bottle, or in the description on the TFA website!

    Perfumers Apprentice - Sweetener

    TFA "Sweetners" DESCRIPTION:
    Ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Water, Sucralose.

I have a bottle of Sucralose from Nude Nicotine! That's in VG, so I may just use that instead of the TFA brand, though I can't find any SDS info for the NN brand, they do offer COA's for their nic products.

THANK YOU for posting this .... I avoid Malto (EM) like the plague. Basically, it's just about the same as using regular sugar (weight wise)
Being a sugar alcohol .. consuming too much (in foods) will also give you stomach/bowel cramps, so I don't use it in any way, shape, or form, and I avoid buying any "sugar-free" foods that contain it.

I very seldom add a sweeten to my juices, but when I do, I add some PG that I sweetened with "Liquid Splenda" (100% Sucralose) that I use in the kitchen.
I just replace some or all of the PG called for in my recipe with my homemade sweetened PG.
Thanks again, and it definitely should be posted as an ingredient. You don't get that much in a vape I guess, ... but still

I've used the regular raspberry but never over 3%. I didn't think it was bad.
That may have been the problem when i tried it.If i remember right,i think the recipe i got it for had it at close to 8% or so,and it was so strong and potent that it was just not good haha.

I finally got around to doing a 100dt of the peanut brittle with English toffee that someone posted several days ago. I'm guessing that at a total of 12% flavorings that it needs some time to steep.

    this one?

I'll share my Peanut Brittle Recipe if you guys don't mind. I had to do a clone for a friend of mine and this is what he ended up liking.
    Peanut Brittle

    5% English Toffee (FW)
    1% Marshmallow (TPA)
    0.75% Peanut Butter (Flavorah)
    5% Peanut Butter (TPA)

    few weeks ago...

I made this one the other day I found on this forum somewhere and it is pretty tasty but hopefully will get even better with age:
