The green tea is actually for another recepie. I may try it stand alone but yea, a tiny bit of a taste and it doesn't seem real strong. I guess real brewed green tea isn't very strong though either.

Anybody have any opinions on my cheesecake having white floaters in it?
I've seen advice from flavoring vendors about that. Some flavoring chemicals can come out of solution. They suggested sitting the bottle in warm water and shaking to redissolve whatever it is.

If it were me, I would try and stir it to break up those chunks. If its a small bottle then I would probably just start over and try and stir the flavoring instead.
I have glass stirrers that I use but never really had chunks of anything in my flavors. Not sure what to think. It could just be the company didn't mix it completely. Or somehow something got in that shouldn't have?
Contact the vendor and ask if they can replace the bottle.

I'll try the warm water thing too. I shook the snot out of it last night. TBH, I hadn't even looked at it before last night so I don't know if it was there when it came or not.

Edit... Yes, it's a small bottle, like a 30ml or so.

Thanks!

I don't consider 30 ml of flavoring small....I would consider calling or emailing the vendor. I am sure they don't want bad flavoring to go to their customers.

Was that a new one that you just got?
No, I've had it a bit. I just had never even looked at it.

I got an email back already from the vendor.

Here's a snip...

"A few of the flavorings we get from the Flavor Apprentice can separate or form crystals, especially ones with any “milk” components, like the Malted Milk and Cheesecake, etc. The Flavor Apprentice advises to gently warm the flavoring and shake to dissolve and redistribute the flavoring chemicals back into solution."

It should't have floaters. I wonder if it's undissolved sweetner? Does a drop on your finger taste sweet? I'd contact the vendor.

Hi. See my post right above. It seems it a "milk" component.

Edit.. I didn't taste it though. It smelled okay but I wondered if it had gone bad. Seems nornal-ish

Cheesecake as a stand alone has a slightly sourish cream cheese taste.

They need at least a month, some say 2 months.
man, If you have to steep for more than a couple days (non-tobacco), I would make a change to the recipe.

If it sucks after a shake and vape then it will most certainly suck after a month of steeping. Why waste your time. Does anyone hear use Bill's 100 DT anymore? It really works and will save you a lot of time and money.

Was he using 100% VG flavors for his 100 DT?

Actually I started these with the 100DT. Then checked the forums for a starting point that others were using. I wouldn't have believed my DT results if I hadn't seen others using 15%. They do get really good with a little heat & a long steep. But that is true for creamy, custardy, or tobacco flavoring. Fruits & most beverages are more shake n vape. Just the heat these are getting in my tank is changing them as I vape.

I think it was. It runs in my mind I could see part if a car avatar in the original screenshot I took before I cropped it down. I'll be vaping it by the end of next week! :)

He's referring to the real flavors. They do seem good, but definitely require a long steep due to being all vg based.
I didn't realize TFA started carrying 100% vg flavors. I won't be getting any of those either. It's not just the long steep time, it's the amount of vapor; way too much.

I can understand people using it who are sensitive to PG, but I see a lot of vapor's who want to "blow clouds, man". These individuals, who sometimes have never even smoked, are what is going to destroy our hobby by pissing people off with their huge clouds.

Save 100% vg mixes for your home so you don't ruin it for the rest of us.

Whew, had to get that off my chest, sorry

These are not TFA flavors we are talking about. We got off track, & need to get back to more TFA topic. We can continue this conversation on the Real Flavors thread.
Sorry, Frisco, for confusing you! High vg flavors are fine, you just use more pg when you mix to balance them out. My nic & other flavorings are all in pg, so that helps, too. I usually end up about 50/50. I know what you mean about clouds, tho. Nothing wrong with them at home or play time, but not always appropriate.
