so im crazy about TFA peanut butter. its the best thing out of the batch i got. 10% and vapable right away.

this morning i was enjoying my peanut butter vape and just when it was time to leave for work, dry hit, tank empty. doh! better go fill up before i leave... bottle empty ACK! so i went AD without my ADV! =D i vaped jamaican rum, which isnt terrible but not a very good rum if you ask me. when that ran out, i went with pineapple, which is great at 10%, very sweet.

so when i got home, the kids had stuff to do out of the house so i had the place to myself for a little while, time to get mixing. so now im set with pnut butter for a while longer, and while i was poking around in my stash i found my bottle of Banana Nut Bread, which was horrible perfumey when i made it at 10%, i took some of it and cut it to 5% and it was a little better... well this bottle of 10% has been steeping a week... i gave it a sniff and it smelled pretty good! so i took a chance and filled my tank, and i must say this stuff is pretty rockin now. maybe not the most authentic banana nut bread ever, but a very good vape.

Challenging mixing issue!

10% TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - mixed in 10ML
10% TFA Strawberry - mixed in 10ML
1 Drop Sweetener per 5ML in each - (so 4 drops total)
After 3 weeks of steeping - Mixed 3 parts Ice Cream to 1 part Strawberry. Made the most Delicious Strawberry Ice Cream. Vaped it all down without switching Flavors.(something I never do)

Rational thinking tells me this is 75/25 ratio with 2 drops sweetener per 10ML

Made a Batch of Strawberry Ice Cream to replicate Mixed Flavor................ Fail
After even 3 weeks of Steeping, there is a distinctive Strawberry Bite and the Ice Cream is not as smooth at all. Like the flavors refuse to play together. (Sharp edges)

Any explanations or have I found something new to have to deal with in Mixology?

I really, really liked the first combination.:p

Hmm, your reconstruction for 10ml sure seems like it should be:
0.75ml VBIC
0.25ml S
2 drops sweetener
9ml base

After the steep, if this didn't work, try something that makes no sense...a drop of VW mixed in with the flavorings before adding the remaining PG/VG & Nic.

Seriously don't know if that will work, but if it didn't work the logical way, it's time to start trying the illogical...or go back to steep each separately then combining later.

Oddly, I've been playing with VBIC and Strawberry lately. I haven't made strawberry ice cream, but I made something that tastes great, but I have no idea what it tastes like. Somebody said I should throw 2 random words together and just call it that. I don't know if anyone would say "yes" to me asking if they wanted to taste my Critical Shoes juice...

Thanks for the reply Hoosier!

I will keep at it. This was just to good to let go. For now, I'm going to make the separates and get them steeping.
No VW in house right now. Have Smooth, but not so sure about working with that one.

May make a small batch with TFA VBIC and Capella Sweet Strawberry. That one seems smoother anyway.
Will forgo the sweetener on that one.

I love this thread :) I have a bottle of Banana Nut Bread that I just received and was planning on mixing up a test batch tonight when I got home and was trying to figure out what % to start out with and out of the blue this gets posted.
I think I will start out with a 5% mix and go from there.
Did you mix anything else along with it or just the BNB?
How do you think a 1 or 2% add of honey will work with this?

I do, I'll put 1% of EM and 10% Black Cherry in mine and it's delicious! I usually do a 50/50 PG/VG blend at 18 mg nicotine.

Sent from my Nexus 7 (2013) using Tapatalk 4.

I did 10% black cherry in a 60/40 pg/vg mix last night at 11mg. It was pretty good. I might have to try a bottle with 1% EM in it and see how they compare.

I suspect you are talking about seed steeping. If you make a new batch in the same bottle as a partially used previous batch, either you don't need to steep, or steeping time is shortened. Somehow the well-steeped juice works as a catalyst to quickly steep the new juice. Weird.

So banana nut bread gets better with time? I made a batch and to me it just tasted like nut it was so overpowering that no matter what I added to it to level the flavors it was still just....... nut! Even let it sit for several days lid off and it did not change at all

I would like to give it another shot bit don't wanted waste the base if it is the same

Tucson, it's a dry heat
I had no idea about that - next time I'm starting to run low on a favorite flavor, I'll save some for the new batch. Double Chocolate Caramel Truffle is one that I'm always polishing off . . . great tip!

I've got a CaraCap batch that was done in an old bottle on 9/3 and it already has me wondering if I put some Caramel in it. It must work.

All I did was use the empty bottle without rinsing it.
