thanks, That's Buddy.
He's a 3 year old pit mix with local hunting dog with those white markings on head and belly, and he has white feet.
I got him at a month old or so, was scrawny and under appreciated, but not abused… had self esteem issues; shy.

But he's shined under my adoration and care. He keeps me getting lots of fresh air and sunshine; lives on my couch lol and first big dog I've had.
We're tight. He's very much the gentleman and athlete.

Alrighty then! 3 days and 155 pages later, still no Kentucky Bourbon flavor.......... has anyone used this in anything? I have it coming and I so want to try making a juice with tobacco, bourbon and vanilla. Still waiting on all my vapemail to start mixing and as you can tell, I'm jumping in with both feet. I do plan to make each individually and then decide on percentages for the mix.

Of the pre-made juices I have, nothing really satisfies and until I can find something that does, I don't see me going off the analogs. So I am really intent on finding something that will be an ADV. Down from 2PAD to 1/2 PAD isn't good enough, I want off them completely. I sure can't afford to keep trying vendor pre-made juices in hopes of finding something. That's why I went DIY. I've only found 1 that I can use 75% of the time, a Menthol/tobacco, and if not for the menthol, it wouldn't work.

So at the start, I expect to be doing a lot of tobacco mixes but hope to get over that and try some others. :)

I didn't crave tobacco when I was a smoker. I was always after the mintiest cigarette flavor.

You might be better served by trying your own tobacco extracts or trying out some pre-extracted ones and adding to them.

I never expected to find an all day, every day flavor. BORING! That's why I got into DIY. I can whip up whatever, whenever 24/7. No waiting for vape mail or haunting the local B&M's.

See that's the point, I don't know if it's the tobacco I want or the menthol? But I tried a RY4 that I thought might actually be interesting if it had more than a 'tease' of flavor, even without menthol, it was ok, but just ok. Had the vanilla and caramel notes came out more, I would have liked it. All the flavors I've ordered are from TFA so I'll be playing 'mad scientist' soon. :) I'm hoping I might be able to improve the flavor in the pre-mades I bought, since I can barely taste anything. Yeah, I figure that's what 40+ years of smoking will do to the taste buds.

I don't even like menthol anymore or at least not for the last month.

I just tested my chocolate & caramel experiments.

Caramel at 10% is a little strong. It's like the caramel syrup for ice cream.

Chocolate Extra at 10% is good. Kind of bland but I intend to mix it with other flavors anyway.

Milk Chocolate is a little light but good at 10%.

Bittersweet Chocolate at 10% is too strong and tastes like chocolate liqueur--yuk! but some people would like it. It would probably make a fabulous mudslide. I left the top off for now and will try again in a day or 2. I have a feeling that this one will not be salvageable for me. Maybe my brother-in-law will like it. This is one of the 2 that the scent of reminded my son of his grandmother. The other was caramel. The caramel doesn't have the liqueur funk going on with it so I think I can tinker it into something vapeable.

I didn't like my coffee vape, which was 1 ml cappuccino.10 ml base. It was too dark, and I was worried about crudded coils-- I was doing dry burns quite frequently, among other things. So, I threw in a few more things, and I am quite happy. I think when I get it standardized, it should be about 1/4 ml cappuccino, 1/2 ml coffee (clear), and 1/4 ml Irish Cream. It will be interesting what it will taste like with a few months of steep time-- with add a little bit of this, a little bit of that and more base when it gets too strong, I have quite a bit. :p

I'm not a cappuccino fan but if you were using TPA/TFA Caramel Cappuccino flavoring, it is reported as very strong. 1 or 2 drops per 10 ml is the amount I have in my notes about it. Caramel Flavor is what I was playing with. The only coffee type I have used thus far is Mocha and I like it alot at 5%.

Just made my first juice using honey flavour and it is seriously strong. I generally use a lot of flavouring, but tend to mix 3-4 flavours, so I referred to the list which recommended 1-5%. I used 10% Maxx Blend, 10% Vanilla Bean, 5% Honey and 5% Brown Sugar. 30% total may seem high, but I usually use about a 2:1 ration of 36mg nic to flavour to get me to 24mg overall. The result of my mix, all I can taste is honey, used in my Origen Dripper and it also lingers, the next two juices tasted of just honey as well. So I would say the 5% may be OK if you are mixing just honey, but if you are blending, you really want to start with the 1%.

I don't see passion fruit on the list, so I will tell you guys about my experience...I posted a thread asking what % i should start out with (I like my flavors strong), and someone recommended that this was a light flavor and i should start at 20%. I am REALLY new at diy, so i decided to make a 6ml batch of this (in case it came out bad). OH MY!!! I'm glad that I made such a small bottle. 20% is WAY too high! After steeping for a week, it tastes HORRIBLE!! Very chemical-like taste, and nothing like passion fruit. I'm going to try it again (I really love passion fruit) at 5% and work my way up if the flavor is not enough.

I diluted my concoction down to 5% and let it steep for a while ( I couldn't bring myself to try it right after diluting it ), and it is perfect! This isn't a very strong flavor, but still tastes good. I think it would be better with a little EM, or maybe even a little sweet cream! Hubby likes it the way it is.....but I always want to mix and experiment lol. I would say 5% is great for this flavor, any more and you get per-fumy. Any less, and you can't taste it. Hope this helps you guys out!

I've been sitting with a bunch of TFA melon samples (cantaloupe, watermelon, honey dew) and they are all so good, slightly different, but similar… (the VZ SC melons are good too).
Easy as can be… but i can't make up my mind what to do.

Should I mix them, or just keep sampling from each different one? lol.

Anybody have any good fruit vape recipes that include melon/s?

TFA Apple tart Granny Smith (bought from WL) akkkk either I have a bad bottle or this stuff is just totally useless ?

I have tried every percentage from .5% to 10% and it is just horrible tasting crap.
I've also tried using it at .5% to 3% just as an accent to try to add tartness to other fruit blends, but all it did was turn good juices bad.
No amount of ageing and steeping did anything to help it be tolerable...It smells like acetone mixed with pine sol with a dash of bug spray eeeesh akkk.

Very disappointed with this one from TFA, so I am really wondering I have a bad bottle from wizard labs on my hands or if anyone else has had any success using this flavoring?

I thought my bottle said Green Apple on it but I'm not at home to check. It's definitely not the taste I expected. More like red delicious apple peels and it gets worse as it ages. Mine was mixed at 15% with a couple small drops of sucralose per 5 ml. It was ok but not great immediately but now it's 6 weeks later & has the rotten apple & nail polish remover.

I have 4 TFA apple types... Apple, Apple Candy, Green Apple, and the Tart Granny Smith. I made 15% green apple and call it Balloon lick. The Granny is nast too.
plain Apple is decent @15% and doesn't seem to do much if you go higher(I've been to 20%)but IMO better with a sour additive. I can't remember Apple Candy atm but I know it led me to Green and Granny and they were just complete bombs. I thought apple flavor would be an easy one. I'm still searching...

Just a follow up on the Lychee, which i totally panned at first… (10% at least)….

after the tip that more like 5% is appropriate here, i am really liking it.

5% Lychee with a little sweetener… still not as sweet as vendor Lychee, and not exactly like the natural fruit flavor (in Hawaii, we have it pretty regularly)… but very nice; a bit on the tart side, which throws me; i think "passion fruit".

My esteem for TFA is growing (so far about 5 for 5 with flavors).

Anybody try Mango or Papaya?

We've tried the Mango (separately and in 2 different recipes). The flavor itself is pretty good, but it's very weak...and if we 'up the flavor', the flavor seemed to change.

HS Mango is spot on at 5-6% (ditto for HS Pineapple)

Speaking of Pineapple, consider yourself warned about TFA Pineapple - yuck.
