I guess I should have waited on the 2.5 dragon but I'd still have a hard time dropping $280 on a mod of any kind.View attachment 383857View attachment 383858

On a side note, since I started DIYing I cut my nic down in half from 12 to 6mg and I can't vape my left over 12mgs at all. Just to much for me. I used to love it!

I made Bills Twinkie #2 today and at first all I could taste was the butter from the sweet cream but it's better with a little time under its belt. I think for me I need to cut back on the sweet cream about 2%

I love that! Sweeeeet!

When I started vaping, I was at 16mg. When I started DIY, I went to 12. Now I am at 5-6mg. I am pretty happy there.

This is how I roll chanelvaps...I just had a business trip for a week and I took (2) gallon zip lock bags..one with mods/drippers/clearos and the other bag with Cotton, Rayon, wick, kanthal, ohm meter, torch lighter and juice.

I

I work two weeks away from home and then have two weeks off, and when I am at work I take all my vaping stuff with me except my DIY stuff. I found a medium size back pack works best. I have one that has three sections. In once section I have all my rebuild gear in, in another section all my juices I bring with me, and the third section holds all my mods, batts, drippers, cart, and all. Works best for me.

The State of Confusion
I travel for work quite a bit, and even if I fly I take a lot of my stuff with me!
(A lot)!

Usually a Kanger and like 10 bcc' (I vape like a fiend), usually one extra Provari, extra juice, an RDA with necessary supplies, and at least one ZAP, not to mention batteries and charger!

I am never gone less than a week at a time, and up to three weeks....

Last hotel I stayed at was a La Quinta and they were vape friendly, actually this made the whole trip much more enjoyable!

One of the desk clerks even vaped....

Gotcha. Blogs can speed up the process of reading a few hundred posts for sure. I meant two or three months worth of posts. It wouldn't take that long to read them! :D :p

Some people have liked these blogs:

E-Cigarette Forum - Bill's Magic Vapor - Blogs

This one in particular might be right down your alley:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-juice-makers-can-make-great-juice-today.html

I think the guy's a wack job, but who knows? I like his juice. Good luck! :toast: :D

:2cool: :vapor:

Edit: The advantage of reading all the posts is to get a wide variety of views on the whole DIY area. We all have different taste sensibilities, and collectively, the ideas are vast, and not limited to just one person's POV. In this case, more is better. Good luck!

This person is PURE EVIL!

I now live paycheck to paycheck, surviving only on the mere left overs after my direct deposit to TFA for my flavorings twice a month! :D

LOL

I go to work and come home in the evening, but i still go prepared for anything haha.I take a spare mod, spare tank, spare juice, basically at least 1 extra of everything. When i first switched from smoking to vaping,i was about a week in,i had an ego and kept it in my pocket. It broke about 2 hours into a 10 hour shift and i was die'ng the rest of the day,so now i never leave home without a backup of everything.

Since I have been using my RDA I have had to cut back to 24-28, was at 32-34..

I guess one could say vaping has saved my life, DIY has saved my wallet! ;)

I had the same thing happen, I had some Fire and Ice laying around that was 42 and I vaped some, I about fell outta my chair....HA!

Who me, addicted to nicotine, whatever gave you that idea? LOL

I hear ya'!

Yeah I pretty much take spares of everything daily, nothing worse than a vaper without a vape....we can get very ugly....LOL

When I travel I drive a lot, some drives up to 10 hours so you know I tote the house with me when it comes to vaping...nothing worse than being away from home and vapeless!

If not for nicotine I would do bad things to some people.....HA!

Wow I miss 1 day and now I have so much reading to do!
So yesterday I took some time on my day off and mixed up -

Bill's Peach Cobbler (updated)
Juicy Peach 12%
Graham Cracker 5%
Sweetener 4%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 3%
Sweet Cream 3%
Brown Sugar 2%
Cinnamon Spice 1%

*hopefully I got that right*
Came out fantastic! Thanks Bill :) I didn't have Cinnamon Spice but I do have a bottle of juice that's pure all naturally extracted cinnamon or so it says. So I used that and dripped in a few drops. Not sure how I got that bottle of ejuice but it's not something you would vape by itself - it's crazy strong. Good though so now I can use it to add to recipes. Few drops go a very long way.

And I also made this recipe with the RY4 Double:
RY4 Double 8%
Caramel 4%
Vanilla Swirl 4%

That's tasting FANtastic but I can tell it needs to steep. Not sure exactly where I got the recipe. It actually tastes exactly like this juice I bought recently that I absolutely love. That's so exciting - I can make it myself??? What!

I'm in the middle of testing all my flavors solo, and Bill is 95% right.
That means I did find a few that I liked solo.
Everyone's taste vary as we know, but I found 2% Tiramisu, 1-2% Peppermint, 7% Mocha, 5% Horchata, 6% Hawaiian Punch, and 18% Banana Cream, to all be good solo (so far) ... the list of "don't like solo" is longer.
I also liked Caramel Cappuccino at 1-2 DROPS per 10 ml to be good .. it's better with some sweetener, and a cream added, but it's also just plain good on it's own to me, but needs some steep time.
I've only tried about 50% of my flavorings solo so far, so there may be more, but they are far and few between when used solo.
I'm testing each one for strength, sweetness, and what it will contribute to a recipe.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a few that were good on their own ... great for a fast mix and go.
From your list that would make me closer to 97% right. And of those flavors, 99% right! :D

As in all "rules," there are exceptions to them, but very few for me, as well. So few, in fact, that I might as well say single flavors don't work, lest people keep trying in futility. I've done the same thing as you and found the sweet spot for all my flavors. But, everyone's sweet spot is different, so the best we can do is find a range. :toast:

Love the Dragon! Truly beautiful. Jealous! :D

You know M, I've bought easily over 50 (A)PV's since I started vaping, and today I have less than ten. I've sold the rest, or PIF'd them. Really didn't lose any money either. The best gear is the most expensive, but does work the best, and I'm only lending them money anyway. I can get it back if I elect to sell these little jewels. I've had so many disappointments though, in gear along the way, that the only thing that makes any sense to me is to get the very best. If I ever need the money, well I can get it back. I recently sold my GG gear, over $400 for Ithica and Just GG, because I never use them anymore. I think I recovered all but $20, and it sold locally in less than 2 hours. I dropped over $5K the first year trying to "save" money on China gear. All pretty much junk. Still have a few clones, but usually buy US or European gear....best stuff and holds its value well. Just sayin'.....:toast:

Sounds like a lot, I know, but my smoking bill was over $400 per month, that left a lot for new gear. 3.5 PAD American Spirit Black. What did it matter how much vaping cost, for me? Vaping saved me.....just giving back......Easily spend less than half that today.....and Lovin' it! :D

Ren and Debi are traveling, does anyone else with more time here or more mixing experience want to coordinate milkshake vapeathon? If not, I will do it this round....if no-one else claims by tonight, I will start by setting dates tomorrow morning and by keeping track of stuff/posts/recipes, so if anyone else wants, please post so I know your interest/intent and don't step on any thread veterans' toes.

I'll try that Twinkie #2 in my .5 ohm dripper and see if it burns off the butter flavor.
I'll mix up some Twinkie #1 for the Taifuns!

I agree with you on quality and original equipment Bill. The first price I saw for the P3 was a little inflated and then they would be looking for shipping on top of that ending close to $300. I gave Provape $215 for the Dragon as a "Blem" so.............. I'll probably have to join the P3 club eventually. I just want to make sure I'm not getting scalped in the process!

Lol, I'm still waiting to see if anyone else wants first ;)

Curiosity of the day, what led people here to using TFA flavors over other brands? For me, I actually started with Capella mostly, but over time was ordering more and more tfa, just curious ....do most here use majority tfa and supplement with other brands? I mean I do still like some capella ones too. And I hope to try some inawera some day. I'm probably the biggest oddball ever who tried fa and it didn't wow me as much as I expected...just curious if price, variety, transparency, or simple enjoyment of flavors/taste or some other reason was a deciding factor for others....as a noob, $1.15/6 ml @bcv, large variety were sort of big factors for me purchasing, plus the camaraderie here and assistance/no pretentious 'tudes/highly active thread..just food for thought/discussion.

I was eyeing up a p3, but that little eleaf I stick looks so cute and probably more in my budget especially with holidays/baseball personal training for the elder son coming up...thinking of getting my mom one for christmas too with a mini nautilus tank, problem is she frequently breaks glass tanks
