Yeah, go to the TFA website and literally sign up for bulk sales. With bulk sales, the 4 oz bulk amount is about the same price (plus 4 bits or so) as the one ounce. Best deal out there, imho.

I bought champagne for a recipe I haven't made yet, but I have somewhere. When I find it, I'll post it for you. I use the Jamaican Rum in several recipes. It's good too!

Bulk Sales:

Good luck! :toast:
So the Jamaican rum gives it a fizzy sensation with soda flavors?

Needs some help with a blend I am doing for my daughter...
Carmel Cappuccino 15%
Bavarian Cream 5%
Smells awesome and leaves a dead on after taste but taste a little burnt on the inhale.

TFA Caramel Cappuccino Is a super strong flavoring.
Most vapers never use more than 2-3 DROPS in 10 ml.
Caramel will taste "burnt" when it's too strong.
Try a small "tester" of about 1-3% flavoring. Even 3% can be too much for a lot of vapers.
Adding a cream, other flavors, and some sweetener is preferred by many, but it's also good on it's own when used in the lower %

Some feel it has to steep to reach it's peak, so make a couple testers and let one steep a month, as it just keeps getting stronger, and better.
From popular opinion, (and some scary tales), your problem is using way to high of a %, according to feedback (and experience)
Start low, and go from there with this one.
Very few of the flavorings can match the strength of TFA Caramel Cappuccino .. it's one of the exceptions in the flavor world.
I like Bill's suggestion of adding chocolate, .. sounds yummy ... but start a lot lower with the CC, and see how it goes'

New Orleans, La
Just finished my ADV juice, Cinnamon Danish:

View attachment 384994

500 mls in a nice Re-agent bottle, flanked with a 15 ml dropper and a 30 ml capped boston round bottle, both amber. This is my stash for the next month. I do vape other juices, so many I love actually, but this is my main vape. All Day Vape (ADV). Recipe:

Cinnamon Danish - 10%
Cotton Candy - 10%
Bavarian Cream - 3% (- 6%)

Smells wonderful too. The wide reagent bottle mouth provides a huge surface area. Aeration is quicker, bubbles disperse quicker (about 2 hours in these reagent bottles). I will store these in a 240 ml glass bottle in the vape shack, a 120 ml bottle in vaping Corner, and smaller bottles for travel. Here's Vape Shack and vaping Corner:

Here's my Travel Gear:

View attachment 384999

The Travel Gear folds up nicely and fits easily in my carry on brief case. I keep already made coils and wicks in the clear plastic containers, along with two or three additional Taifun's, coiled, wicked and ready for immediate use. The white battery case is both a charger and charges my four 18650's. I also carry 2 18650's in my pockets. I also carry a two bay battery charger (I2) with me for use in room and in car. I can completely rebuild all my gear with the mini tools, as well. When I am more than about 30 miles from home, this gear goes with me. Since we cannot get our "stuff" from the corner store, I travel quite well prepared (paranoia). I also usually travel with an additional two or three vaporizers. Here you see The Eye, a Semovar, and a backup Provari. I carry my Silver Provari in my pocket, along with stainless eJuice holder (shown), and batteries. Meant to show these kits when everyone was doing their show and tell a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't get it together! Ciao!

I want your vape shack!!!!!! I'm totally green with envy. May I call you Yoda?

holy moly!!! 15% Caramel Cap... maybe it worked by using too much and the flavor muted. I love strong flavors and 1% was a fail for me with 5%BC and CO steeped a month. I think 1/4-1/2% would be a good start. if you don't want chocolate added I got away without it by diluting my original 1% mix and adding more cream, vanilla, and some sweetener.

So the Jamaican rum gives it a fizzy sensation with soda flavors?

Well, I didn't say that now. The Jamaican rum mimics rum flavoring well, in recipes like bananas foster, etc.

lol I took it the same way when I read it too Bill. I'm guessing you related both being alcoholic drink flavorings. Most uses I see Champagne to round flavors and the so called fizzy attribute that someone started.
I used Absinthe in several recipes. It's 90% PGA and adds no fizz but mad TH. :toast: Prefer undiluted Star of Anise now to get me where I want. :headbang:

G' morning.....Halloween preparations and kiddos kept me pretty busy yesterday, was logged in but kept busy enough to not post....Bill thanks for your walk through, very informative and helpful as usual....what I'm taking from it for my next trials, ddl and replacing vs for fv, and decreasing my Koolada %…see the 1% koolada in a mix with only 6% flavoring was too much cool, and cool vanilla was weird for me, I never had a cool vanilla, I liked the vbg/vs fine by itself and will use, just adding the koolada imo was a bit of a weird result, and wasn't quite really the ice cream flavor I was aiming for, so time to revisit and remix...just need time

I miss Ren and her funny posts/sense of humor....hope she is having a nice vacation/visitation!

Anyone here do flavor testing in cool whip? I'm actually thinking of doing just cause of my amount of flavors ..hope to get a good idea of each individually this way, I know there is sort of instructions on tfa site, just curious if anyone has done and how it worked for them. Do I just take a spoonful of cool whip and add a drop of flavor, swirl around, and taste? And I will have to take notes too. I know flowerpots kept a diy diary here at one time and tested flavors on her tongue in pg, I am looking to do but with cool whip instead

Got more flavors in, and from initial sniff test, can say I've smelled toasted marshmallow and malted milk in purchased juices before, not quite sure which ones, but definate flavor De ja vu with these also.

And Bill thanks again for milkshake post, think that will get some momentum going, or a revival of interest....I was falling flat, lol

Well, okey dokey then....did not intend that, correcting now. :D

I use Absinthe in my Red Vines recipes. Great stuff, but very specific flavoring for unique mixes for sure. No active ingredients, of course, too bad, so sad! :D

Great results mixing Red Vines with Cream Fantastico, btw. Both fully made juices, start at 50/50 and adjust from there. Drippers seem to love this one.

How about a milkshake, my friend? :vapor:

Always helpful Mom. Thanks! :D

Yeah, not the same without Ren. Come back, Ren! :p

I've heard of all sorts of uses for cool whip, but not this one. How does it work? :?:

Thank you for the support on the Milkshake Odyssey. I wanted to leave clues as to what we go through to end up where we do. I think I could probably take my ending point and do another round of ten or so 100DT's, and advance the milkshake to a better mix. This is a hint to all you lurkers and bench warmers! :D

There's some good milkshake recipes here somewhere, we just need to ferret them out. Even if you do "start" with the MS Base I outlined, you will still have to adjust it to work with whatever primaries you mix it with, more than likely. We just need to get on it and try a few new mixes. Hint, hint.

I haven't tried the malted milk yet, and was never a malted milkshake kinda guy, and I used to work at Swensen's about 40 years ago! We had free ice cream. Amazing how tired you get of ice cream after a few days of unrestricted access. :p

I think the new MS Base is good, particularly when vaping in a walk-in freezer. I only made a 100DT's yesterday (2.5-3 mls), so I think I'll make a batch today for further testing with additives. There's a good chance that this mix will come alive with a few fruit flavorings, even chocolates. Sounds like fun. If I can't get to it today, for sure I will do this tomorrow, so the race is on. Why doesn't everyone shoot to have one posted recipe, good or bad, on this thread by say Sunday? We can do this!

Some of my flavors should arrive today, so with that and what I have I will work on it. Rest of flavors should be here tomorrow. Come on USPS!!!!

I don't have Vanilla BEAN ice cream, but I do have Vanilla Ice cream. But with different creams and vanillas I do have, I will see what I can come up with.

Fun factoid:

The GF really took a liking to the Pink Starburst. I couldn't really mix anything that wasn't some kind of mint/menthol that she could use as an ADV, but the Starburst is it.

Her dripper needed recoiling yesterday, so I took care of that. Suddenly the starburst didn't quite have the same appeal as before. What gives?

Well, it turned out she'd been using it ever since I had tried a few Strawberry Kiwi mixes. The Kiwi is really potent stuff, and had been imparting some taste on the Starburst the entire time (even after changing wicks, but no wash/recoil).

Added a few drops of Kiwi to the Starburst (only a few ml left), and she's loving it again.

I couldn't get a great Strawberry Kiwi mix, but I was always using 5% or more Kiwi Double. I think the two get along really well, but with minuscule amounts of Kiwi, like 8 to 10 times more Strawberry than Kiwi.

I'll definitely be doing some testing here. I'm very interested in "enhancing" fruits, and this falls into that category.

Also: that Apple Danish is really growing on me, it turns out :D

Using Bill's recipe as a starting point, and the flavors I have on hand currently, I mixed this up last night (all TFA):

VANILLA MILKSHAKE:

French Vanilla Regular 9% (I prefer the French to the Bean, so adjusted % accordingly)
Vanilla Bean Gelato 4%
Marshmallow 4%
Vanilla Swirl 3%
EM 2%
Sweet Cream 1%
Vanillin 1%

I have Koolada that a buddy let me borrow but haven't tried it yet and wanted to try this as is 1st so I left it out.

I made 3 small sample bottles of this, 5 ml each. Bottle 2 has 3% of Malted Milk added and bottle 3 has 3% Brown Sugar added.

Cleaned a Russian 91%, new Japanese cotton wick inside 26g Kanthal, 8 wraps around 2.4mm driver for 0.8 ohms at 19 watts and tried out bottle 1: Nice and sweet. Lots of tasty vanilla flavor. Nothing really offputting. Quite enjoyable vape. Makes me want cut 2 inches off a straw and stick it on the tip of the Russian.

I cashed that tank and refilled with Bottle 2 with the Malted Milk added: Not bad. Can certainly tell a difference. This too can pass as a milkshake juice imo. Not clearly defined Malt flavor but sort of like it. I've heard people say Malted Milk flavor is rank in smell but it seems to work ok here. It may mask the vanilla flavor a tad. I finished this tank off this morning, refilled with bottle 1, finished that, and am vaping Bottle 2 again right now. Trying to decide which I like better. It's really close, might be leaning towards Bottle 1.

That's where I am right now, haven't tried Bottle 3 yet but I know it will be completely different from these two, the Brown Sugar smell is strong. Maybe should have only added 1-2%. I just added it for the sweetness and complexity but I have a feeling it will dominate the mix at 3%.

I have Dulce de Leche, Dairy Milk, Whipped Cream, non-TFA Tres Leches, and non-TFA Malt all on the way too. Will update when I can.

Hope this helps.
