Well thanks again Bill for helping me find my ADVs! Just dropped $70 at TFA and redid my last order in 4oz sizes this time hehe.. Gonna have Grape and Watermelon and Strawberry bazooka and bubble burst for days now!! Actually I think I added Green Apple too which I havent even opened from my last order from WL, but I think it should substitute perfectly in that bazooka recipe!! I still gotta drop some of that in my iClear and see if its really a tank eater or not, Ive had Green Apple from a vendor that worked fine in my plastic tanks.. Got Cotton Candy just for the heck of it too so I can make the Starburst variations as well..

All is good in vape land.. With these Kayfun 4s I need to be more on the ball with keeping my juice stocked.. These things suck down juice like a Dodge Hemi eats gas but its sooooooo good flavor and vapor wise! My new Sigelei Mini just said THANK YOU NOW LETS DO THIS!!

So glad you are liking DIY and that the vape is now off the charts! :toast:

When I finally took your advice and bought the Sweet Cream, Vanilla Swirl and the like, it just TOOK OFF! I was always skeptical when everyone said single flavors arent usually good on their own and you were all right!! They were nice, but there was something that was always missing from the mix. I still have to break out the Sweet and Tart I bought last time and try some of the actual bubble burst but I think I went through most of my sweetneners making the regular bubblegum mixes so Ill have to try those when my TFA order gets here now that I have enough to go around! I think the advent of the almight Kayfun 4 is gonna make me drop my nic lower too so I should have more flavor popping soon.. My normal 10mg is kinda harshing up my throat with the KF4s and my Magma. I was sitting outside today at work vaping on a break when another vaper came up and asked me what mod i was using, and after out little discussion he told me just to try dropping to 6mg in the Kayfuns and 3mg in the Magma.. Funny enough, I think I just got Sigelei another customer for their Mini 30w after he saw it hahaha..

I mixed up a test batch of sweet and tart by itself at 10% flavoring, thinking this flavor was mimicking the sweetart candy. Made it yesterday. Tadted it this morning and I'm getting no sweet and no tart. Taste more like spoiled milk:facepalm: Is this flavor supposed to be used just as an additive or has something went very wrong?

4 oz of ripe strawberry and blueberry wild ordered(tfa direct), 2 of my favorite fruits, LOVE :), probably should have ordered juicy peach in 4 oz for my summer vapes...ah well, next time, also going to try small size of oatmeal cookie(bcv) to try out...been meaning to, finally ordering...if anyone has used it yet, what did ya' think?

Also saw 100 dt mentioned and rec. on reddit;)

Yes, it is an additive, and a very, very good one. As ALWAYS, add fruit (strawberry, cherry, grape, watermelon, lemon, etc.), sweet cream, vanilla and sweetener to the mix. Several recipes posted. This little flavor is wonderful! Again, TFA flavorings are components of flavorings in mixes, which, together, make wonderful juices. Few TFA flavors work as standalone flavorings. Wish you the best! :toast: :D

I'm starting to sound like a broken record but "thanks again Bill" lol. I'm headed to my vape room in a few minutes to try my hand at mixing nothing but fruity vapes. Hopefully tart and tangy ones. Got to make one quick stop first to your profile page so I can read through all your blogs and get my confidence up haha

Bill, I think you need to put warning labels on your juice recipes - I just mixed up your Cinnamon Danish the first hit was WOW!! :vapor: Great recipe but I have to lower the amount of nic as I can't stop hitting it lol.:D

I've been vaping this juice for two years as my ADV. I may have permanent vaper tongue or something because I need the cinnamon a bit to give me enough flavoring. Enjoy! Warning labels, LOL! :p :toast: :D

Hi Stacy1,

I've made 2 different recipes of Bill's that use the Sweet & Tart (Grape Bubbleburst and Pink Starburst) and I can definitely "testify" they are great recipes. He's got them posted here in this thread - I am on the last 5-6ml of some Pink Starburst right now. LOL - the fact that I have vaped over 40ml of this in a week is a separate issue.. lol.. I am really gonna have to lower my nic level with these cloud and flavor chuckers I'm using lately. :)

I know exactly what you mean about the spoiled milk taste of this flavor. I sorta picked that "note" up on the first recipe I mixed up that uses it. I am not sure I could stand vaping that by itself. But mixed together with the vanillas, creams, possibly sweeteners and some primary flavors the Sweet and Tart adds a different dimension and it really does work!

I made the Pink starburst recipe today, along with 4 others using the 100DT method for the first time. I am LOVING the pink starburst. I wanted the recipe to make for a friend, but I will definitely be making a bottle for myself. I've been making juice for a while now, and have some pretty good juices, but I am one that bought into the low percentage and a forever steep method in order to make good juice. Today is the first day I've varied from that ideology, and making only five recipes, the jury is still out, BUT the three out of five that I've tasted so far are AWESOME. DIY may have just gotten a whole lot easier:D

Absolutely. Obviously there is some merit to the LFM + long steep method - and fortunately nothing I mixed up in the first month or so of DIY mixing was un-vapeable -- but the waiting to find out if a mix is going to be any good or not is a real drag when you are trying to develop recipes, or even if you are just following somebody else's LFM + steep time recipe and waiting for the flavor to develop to decide whether you like it or not. It really just isn't practical unless you have time to let something sit a while, and you are working with a known-good recipe. Bill's methods get you a quick answer, and you can vape it same-day. I was skeptical at first because "everybody else" -- all those bookmarks I built over over a few years-- pretty much said don't use too much flavoring, etc. -- but I figured, hey, why not give it a try since I had the ingredients around? The Grape Bubbleburst was the first recipe of Bill's I mixed up - and it was GREAT.

At this point I'm skeptical of recipes I see out there (most of 'em) that don't use a higher overall flavoring percentage. The flavor may be great, but to find out, you have to wait. meh... :)

Remember, the LFM that you speak of taking a month is for the first, or only one mix. My recipes generally average four mixes to find the juice I'm after, and sometimes more. Tweaking a juice after a month, waiting another month, or four months with four iterations is why many juice makers take such incredible pride with their dedication, determination, precision, etc. in developing a special recipe. And so do I, I just lose my mind using this process, and do respect the effort of those using the LFM. But, what takes them four months, takes me about 20 minutes including vaping a mil or so of a juice, or tweaked juice, to find that right flavoring. Four months versus 20 minutes? Why I searched for a different way, and why I advocate this method for new juice makers. Took me 6 months to find my first ADV. The next perhaps 10 ADV's took me about 3 months, then I began to average a new juice every day or so using the 100DT HFM method. I almost quit, but replaced that with a new method and a wonderful new appreciation for juice making that changed everything for me about DIY. When people started asking me to make them specific juices, I could generally give them a new juice the next day. Eventually, I started selling juices and copying marketplace juices with regularity. Because you can mix so many variations and tweak so many times, I found I could quickly duplicate juices in the marketplace. This only enhanced my reputation with juice sellers, and caused my business/hobby to grow. Eventually, I gave that up as I have too many interests competing for my time, but what a ride! I've tried to share these techniques with all of you and I hope they help you too! Good luck! :toast: :D

Well, I'm done for the night. I made 12( YES 12!) recipes today using the 100DT method. I've only tried 3 so far. Some are Bill's recipes, some are other posted recipes with the % upped a bit to fit the method, and some are ones I dreamed up on my own. It would take me a month minimum to even be able to taste these with the way I've been mixing, but tonight I'll go to bed with the anticipation of getting up tomorrow and finding out if I've created my next ADV! Worst case scenario I'm out 30ml of diy supplies and still have 4 or 5 decent recipes to tweak. Like a kid on Christmas Eve :D
