This is the same ratio as i do mine.If you heat it a bit and shake,you won't need to wait those few days though.My mix is 1/4 teaspoon to 10ml pg
Took a few days to fully dissolve.

You are probably over 10%, more like 15% or more...I mix mine @ 1 tsp to 29ml pg. I mix in a 30ml glass boston round bottle. I put the bottle in very hot water. I remove and shake the bottle every few minutes. I also replace the water as it cools. It takes about 30 minutes to an hour to dissolve all the crystals using this method. Time depends on how often I remember to shake and replace the hot water.

This thread suggests the density of EM is 1.26 gm/cm, making it 26% more dense that water and presumably PG. However there was some uncertainty as to the basis of the number- powder form or crystals. If the "10% solution" is based on weight, then considering your 1 tsp = 4.93ml, and specific gravity 1.26 then a teaspoon of crystals weighs 4.93*1.26=6.2gm and you would want to dilute that into about 55ml pf PG. If the crystals are more like 1.00 specific gravity then only 35 ml PG.
If someone here has some TFA EM crystals and a well calibrated gram scale, they might want to measure and weigh a sample. I just used my last crystals so can't do that until I reorder.
As I mentioned a few posts up, this only matters if you are trying to reproduce recipes, which is why I posed the question to Bill. For any other recipes I suspect that it's a guess since everyone probably makes their own "cotton Candy" differently. And interestingly, I don't see that 10% number used on TFA's description of their cotton candy. They just say they make it as strong as they can without the crystals precipitating out.
TFA's content list indicates their Cotton Candy is PG and EM, nothing more. But they do not specify the exact strength. So if Bill based his recipes on pre-made Cotton Candy then that is a good point and the answer to my question.Bill makes a good point, though: if you want your "Cotton Candy" to be dependable, always taste the same, then it's a good idea to get the TFA Cotton Candy flavor. I'm not sure how EXACTLY it's different from home-mixed EM, but it definitely is.

Perfumer's Apprentice>= 10%
This is made from ethyl maltol, diluted to 10% in PG
Back when I sold juice, a lot of people were very fond of M-type @0.75%. Said it was the closest to a cig vape they ever had. I'm not a fan of the tobacco vapes so I can't comment personally, but I had a lot of repeat sales.I have been trying to create a very plain, basice, "cigarette-esque" flavor for my dad and I just can't seem to get it down. I'm working with dk 555, western(cowboy), and M-type (I also have double RY4 but i'm trying to avoid sweetness). Is there any other ingredient I could add that would enhance the tobacco flavor without adding extra sweetness, or better yet remove some of the already present sweetness in these tobacco flavors?
Also, since this is my first post here, I want to say thanks to everybody participating in this thread. The tips and advice I've read here has vastly improved my DIY abilities.
