So far I have not made any juice by someone elses recipe either. I do keep track of my mixes so I can replicate them but for some things such as sweetener I do a drops per ML notation in my recipe.
So my recipe may go
10 ml 50/50
5 mg/ml nic
1 drop/ml Stevia
2ml persimmon extract Treerot brand.
so this recipe will make a bit over 12 ml of juice.

I can figure it as percentages as well but prefer this method.

While developing a recipe I keep a running tally of all that I add to #1 or whatever numbered bottle I may be doing that in.

I don't mix by weight or use calculators , i never even followed someone else's recipe , i just count drops from the flavoring bottles, even if they aren't the exact same i found it close enough. I just add drops of different flavorings which i think will go together and shake like hell , never had any problems .
Caveman! :)

@cliffy15 - YOU have made my day!!!! I whipped up your Melona recipe this afternoon, and it's what I have been looking for in that "juicy sweet" melon bite! I hit a few drops on a mini RDA (that had a bit of vanilla already on it - figured that would still mix well) and the Melon comes out amazingly well!

I have been meaning to get to the box that was gifted to me to catalog everything. I had separated them long ago into two bags, one TFA and the other everything else and I thought everything else was mostly Flavor West and I already knew they would be last on my list to try. Turns out half of the bag that I thought was Flavor West is Flavor Art (labels look a bit alike) and in there is 2 30mls of Yogurt flavor. Wondering if anyone knows anything of Flavor Arts Yogurt?

    Somewhere between here and there
That must be good. Is that recipe in the Dropbox?

I tried a new flavor this morning. I got island punch on a previous order but just got around to trying it. I started with it at 8% with 2% sweetener but it was weak and needed something. I bumped the punch up to 10% and added 3% vanilla cupcake. It really helped round out the flavor and so far is really pretty good.

OK - so you made me mix this up too on the run, here at my desk, just a 5ml sample and using INW Melon since it is the only melon flavour I have. Then I split the batch in 2 again and added a couple of drops of Koolada to the 2nd batch. Both taste great - the second one though is even more of a gelato with that touch of freshness from the Koolada. Well done @cliffy15

    I'm glad you're enjoying it! :)

In Hawaii (not sure if it's only here) this is a popular frozen dessert and many vape shops carry their own variations of this flavor. So I didn't make up the taste but this is my own interpretation of it and it seems to be quite popular with my friends. :)

I make this so often that I make flavor-only bottles 120ml at a time.

For a twist, add a little bit of ripe banana. Careful, though, because RB is pretty strong...

William, @Bill's Magic Vapor for short, I just whipped up your Cool Breeze and Flamingo. I'm half-way through a PT2 tank of the CB. It's light and refreshing (I've been cutting grass most of the afternoon) with just enough watermelon to make it taste like a watermelon slushy :)

Flamingo goes in my next tank after I load a full tank of the Melona :)

Just mixed up some Rice Crunchies as a stand alone and I'm very impressed. Nice semi-sweet, dry rice crispy flavor with some background butter creaminess, no chemical taste at all. A very simple and easy ADV for me now.
I can see many potential combos for this as well as making the crispy treat recipe.

Is essential oil ok to use/Vape???

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Any oil based stuff like TFA Sweet Orange needs to be diluted with 190 or 200 proof PGA, then mixed with PG or VG before it will mix properly or vape properly.

Once it is diluted with alcohol and mixed it is no longer an oil base as the alcohol is a solvent and chemically changes it. :thumb:

Just as an added note here, even if you let the alcohol evaporate from the mix, it will not revert to being an oil base once combined with VG or PG, it's a chemistry thang! LOL

One tip for those looking to get into mixing by weight though, make sure whatever scale you get will measure to .01 grams so any small % will read on the scale.I bought one a while back,it's a jewelers scale,so i thought it would read the small stuff, but mine only goes to .1 grams,so i need to get a different one.

Scales used in rifle / pistol cartridge reloading can be used as long as long they have the multiple scales; grams, drams, etc.

These scales are also generally VERY accurate!

I'm trying to make a Strawberry-Chocolate liquid. I use Bill's Chocolate Covered Cherries recipe as a basis:
    Double Chocolate - 5%
    Milk Chocolate - 5%
    Vanilla Swirl - 6%
    Bavarian Cream - 4%
    Cotton Candy - 6%
    Butter - 2%
    Cherry (extract) - 1 - 2%

    Chocolate Covered Strawberry
    6,00% Vanilla Swirl (TFA)
    5,00% Double Chocolate (TFA)
    5,00% Milk Chocolate (TFA)
    4,00% Bavarian Cream (TFA)
    3,00% Strawberry (TFA)
    2,00% Butter (TFA)
    2,00% Cotton Candy (TFA)
    2,00% Strawberries & Cream (TFA)

Anyone care to share their thoughts about my recipe? I lowered the cotton candy because Bill uses too much for my taste :pervy: and the strawberry and strawberries & cream is already sweet.

I see TFA has Double Chocolate Dark and Clear. What version do you guys prefer? The TFA website says:
This is a rich, dark chocolate that is a dark brown color, it seems to have a richer taste than the clear version.

-Many people prefer it over the clear.

Thanks BBmom I checked it out. I am not overly concerned with Diketones but I appreciate the info. I did order the TFA and am expecting it any day
