So no impressions on the Malted Milk? I ordered the Strawberry Ripe as well and am hoping to get a decent Strawberry Malt thing going.
I made a banana cream recipe last night using the malted milk. I've made a couple of recipes with it. I find its more like ethyl maltol than a flavouring it just adds a little extra.

Thanks!Banana cream 0.8
Banana 0.6
Bavarian cream 0.4
Whipped cream 0.2
Banana nut bread 0.1
Malted milk 0.2
Works better high vg as the banana flavour can be over powering. Enjoy

That's the only thing I've used it for - a strawberry milk. I think in this mix it adds a bit more "milky" taste if used sparingly. I'm using it at 0.7% in my mix that has a total of 23% flavor. So no impressions on the Malted Milk? I ordered the Strawberry Ripe as well and am hoping to get a decent Strawberry Malt thing going.

At 0.7%, no, you can't even really taste it. I had it at a higher percentage and it did bring a malted taste, but that's not what I wanted in this mix. I lowered the percentage and ended up here - just enough to "thicken" the milky taste but not enough to make it taste malted.Do you feel it brings a genuine malt taste in to the blend?
He's probably best just to order straight from the perfumers apprentice. I'm from the UK and I just order straight from the source. Guaranteed authentic produce and quality at the end of the day you get what you pay for. There are alot of shady vendors selling knock offs....Alright, y'all... I'm trying to help out a new member here from Canada, and he's wanting to get into DIY... anybody got a good source for nic, vg/pg, and TFA flavors from up there?
@Anyhony ... if anybody around here can help us figure out the best way to get you set up, it'll be the awesome guys/gals in this thread!

Ive tried FA strawberry Cap and Tfa now of whom are putting out a real strawberry flavour. They're all just a little underwhelming however I did use a combo of strawberry cream, strawberry ripe, raspberry and Graham cracker to make a frappacino type flavour. Pleasant but not strawberrylischious!!!I don't like the Malted Milk at all; to me it has a sort of "plasticky" taste; very artificial tasting. But that's just me.
I've also been trying different strawberry flavors, trying to replace the INW Shisha Strawberry I use because it's so expensive; the TFA Ripe Strawberry smells great in the bottle, but I found the taste disappointing. I'm still stuck with the INW, if I want REAL strawberry flavor.
Any other suggestions for strawberry are very welcome; I also tried the CAP Sweet Strawberry; has a very alcohol-y scent, and the taste is a bit weak. I tried mixing the TFA and CAP flavors, still doesn't taste like real fresh strawberries as the INW does.

Did you ever try the Flavor Concentrates strawberry flavoring? Real strawbewrry flavor not sweet stuff and you can use as much as you like without it going weird on ya. Hoped to get the Inawera Shisha strawberry today, No luck.Yeah... I guess I'm gonna have to order a big bottle of the INW from Poland, and I really hate that idea; the idea of using my debit or credit card numbers for anyplace in eastern europe fills me with dire foreboding.

But I did get a 4 oz bottle of CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl V1, CAP French Vanilla, CAP Sugar Cookie, and another bottle of CAP Apple Pie.![]()
Ohh it sweetens up well. It is a natural extract with no artificial ingredients and has just a bit of the strawberry rasp to it. But if you like the real sweet stuff maybe not for you. I will be able to give you better feedback once I get the Shisha Strawberry in.Didn't I ask you about that one, in the PM I sent? Maybe I asked about the wrong brand, since I don't know either of those brands... I *want* "sweet strawberry"... is the FC a tart flavor? Or could it be sweetened with sufficient TFA sweetener? If it's tart I don't want it, you can't sweeten tart and make it "not tart."
I don't like or want any flavors that make me make this face:

...which is basically anything tart or sour.
