The cranberry recipe is a little strong. I'm going to lower the cranberry to 10% and increase the sweetener to 2%. The first test isn't terrible and I'm going to finish the tank but at 12% the cranberry is a little overpowering.

Nevermind, question answered. Thanks, Robert!I tried cake batter in mine and did not like it.
A bit of caramel perhaps or maybe even a touch of FA liquid Amber?
You'd think by now I'd learn to read before just putting drops in a bottle. Nope!
Ha! I do that![emoji38] yep, that's human nature
I have a bottle of unflavored "base" (pg-vg- nic) that comes in real handy for when I have over flavored a flavor test. Just diluting it is sometimes is the only "fix" it needs.
That bottle also comes in real handy when I'm close to the very bottom of a tank .. it starts to get thick, and I just add a few drops to the "sludge", and it's like a fresh juice again.
I always have to get "the last drop" out of a flavor I love![]()
I don't have any squonkers yet, but I keep looking in that direction.
I think your going to like that vaporflask sqounker.I got mine a week ago,and i'm loving this thing haha,so much so that i'm ordering another thursday when i get paid,i have the black one,so now i have to order the silver one haha.A little tip,it can be a bit of a pia to get the plastic tube to slide onto the metal tube since you can't see it,but if you tilt the mod a bit and look through the sqounk hole, you can see the metal tube and then it's very easy to guide the plastic tube on.I snagged a Smokeless Owl earlier this summer. Now that I have a "real" bottom feed atty, I really like it. So much so, I've ordered a VaporFlask Squonk Clone (my birthday present to my old self)
I threw the whole saving money thing out the window haha.Actually for me,it was cheaper when i smoked because i rolled my own, cost me about $10 a week for a bag of tobacco and a box of tubes, now since i started vaping,i spend around $20-$30 a week, although at least now that is all spent by choice,so i don't mind spending a little more on something i actually enjoy. The variety really helps me stick with vaping. Whether it be a new flavor, recipe, pv, or tank. DIY has really helped me to keep costs down while providing variety. I'm trying hard to spend less since my oldest is in college and I'd like to try to help pay for as much of it as I can.

I was exactly the same way, when i smoked, the money for cigarettes came out before anything else,no way i was going to go without haha. Now,just like you say,if i have a short check or bills are higher than usual,i don't have to buy anything,i have more mods, etc. than i will ever need, and enough diy supplies to last me several years,so really i could stop spending now and save a boat load of money, but any time i have the extra money,i grab something new to try whether it's as simple as a new flavor or a new mod, besides if i don't spend it,my wife will haha.Choice is really what makes all the difference. I bought regular cigarettes, so every payday (twice a month), I *had* to reserve $88 for cigarettes, come hell or high water. Now, if we have a slightly less than usual payday, or have more expenses than usual, I really don't have to spend anything on vaping, I'm pretty well set. But when we have a slightly better than usual paycheck, then I can spend some on vaping, for whatever I need or want at that particular time. It's so liberating! Overall, I probably spend roughly half of what I spent on smoking, but I can *choose* when I spend it, rather than be forced to spend that much even when I can't really afford it. I'm good with that.

Shinyitis is my downfall haha.I started to get a handle on it after a year of vaping,i had a very nice collection of mods and tanks,so i slowed down on buying equipment for a while, then i seen a thread here for a cheap bottom feeder haha. Now i feel like i'm starting over, all the cool bf mods, and then there are all those rda's i need to try haha,it just never ends haha.I do enjoy vaping much more. Before, smoking was just a monkey on my back. I used to spend about 40-45 a week on cigarettes so I am actually saving. Between DIY liquids and making my own coils I am saving. Now if I could just get a handle on shinyitis. I've been rather lucky on a few contests so that has helped some.
51? I have 10 years on ya.I snagged a Smokeless Owl earlier this summer. Now that I have a "real" bottom feed atty, I really like it. So much so, I've ordered a VaporFlask Squonk Clone (my birthday present to my old self)
I used to have this thread on my "watch" list. Dang, there has been a lot of tension going on in here (and in other threads too.) I *LOVE* the generosity of so many of you - I'm all about snagging a recipe (or MANY recipes) from you folks and giving it a whirl. I've tried to repay with a couple of my own recipes.
Taste is subjective. You make it one way that works for *YOU* - doesn't mean that it will work for *ME* - BUT, I now have ideas and understand how things need to "play together" in order to make juice that keeps *ME* away from picking up another nasty cigarette.
I'll be 51 in a few weeks. With my family's "longevity", I *might* have 20 more years. So, if by trying things shared by ALL of you keeps me away from a cigarette, I *MIGHT* have a chance of breaking that streak.
Let's all just Vape On![]()
I refuse to pay the crazy high prices some devices cost.My most expensive mod that i have bought was like $70 and that was only because i had just gotten my taxes back. Most of my tanks and rda's are clones, because no way i would ever spend $150 on a little rda haha. When I started there were the 510, 901, and 801. The only mods were the screwdriver and the prodigy. It took me a while but I got my first mod which was an Xhaler on the initial release. I'm a cheapskate at heart so have a hard time paying big money for a mod. With everything on the market now it's like a kid in a candy store scenario.
So your 261,i knew your avatar was an old picture, but i didn't realize it was a self portrait haha.51? I have 210 years on ya.
