Just an fyi,since you mention the ry4 double.The asian is nothing like the double,they are very far apart from each other as far as taste.I really like ry4 double,so i decided to try the asian and the regular ry4,the regular isn't too bad,but the asian in my opinion is horrble.The double is more of a sweet caramel and vanilla taste with a bit of tobacco,the regular is more tobacco forward with lighter tones of caramel and vanilla,and the asian tastes like some sort of nasty tobacco mixed with flowers haha.Anyone use TFA RY4 Asian? I seem to have 2 13m bottles. I seem to recall a few years (yes years) ago someone had a super sale and I didn't realize I got 2 Asian instead of 2 double. Have not used a drop.... Just wondering.
I haven't tried it mixed with other flavors,so it could possibly be good that way,but as a stand alone flavor it was one of the worst flavors i have tried,where as the double is very good as a stand alone.
Yes, I tried a 100 drop test with the Asian and it was a big NOPE!!!!! Oh well, perhaps I will get some quince and try faeriekitsune's recipe. Otherwise, the dump box....

Haha,at least you were smart enough to make a small batch first.I assumed since i really like the ry4 double,that i would like the asian too,so i made up a 30ml bottle of it.I tried it after a day,and it was horrible,tried it a week,a month,and again 3 months later,it was still horrible every time,so that was a big waste on my part haha.
That's odd, 'cause in the description it says the Asian does not have the "floral" notes that the others have. I was going to get some Asian on my next DIY order, but now maybe I'll get one of the other two, instead. Or both. Which one (or what else) would you folk recommend, to mix with a clove flavor for that classic "clove cigarette" taste?
You may want to get a small sample size and try it,since tastes vary,and i could be off since i've never actually tasted flowers haha,but to me it definitely had a floral type taste to it,which is odd that they say it that way,because i don't get any floral notes from the double or regular at all,but the asian had an overpowering floral note to me.
ok so are some of you using cotton candy AS EM ? or am i just reading that wrong ?
and i have tried a few of these % and the flavor is there but it almost seems to be buried under like a waxy taste? i have it at 60 vg 40 pg 5 mg nic. could my nic be bad or should i deluting my VG or.... ? please help me for the love of all that is holy !!!!! lol jk but seriously any ideas ?

Yes,cotton candy and em are the same thing.At one time,tfa's site said cotton was 10% em dissolved in pg.I don't think it says that anymore,but they are the same.Not sure what would cause the waxy taste as i've never had that,but maybe try a mix at a lower level of vg,since it is thicker,it could possibly cause that maybe.
Cotton candy is definitely a staple for DIY. It seems most of the recipes I make use it or sweetener.
Hopefully not a total waste. If you've got a bunch already, presumably you use it quite a bit. At least you know you'll like it
I've heard it described as a apple & pear flavor fruit. Never had any tho.

Two things...
I can't take credit for that recipe, I found it somewhere here on ECF I believe.
And if you end up not liking the Asian, don't dump it! I'd love to try it, and others might as well.
