Regarding Strawberry and Cream, I have not found anything better than AndriaD's recipe, which I tweaked to eliminate the DX flavorings, as follows:

AndriaD's Strawberry and Cream

Inawera Shisha Strawberry 16%
TFA Bavarian Cream 6% (Andria uses the DX version)
TFA Vanilla Swirl 4.5%
CAP Sweet Cream 2%
TFA Sweetener 2%

The primary difference between this recipe and others I have seen on this thread is the Inawera Shisha Strawberry. For those that have tried it, they swear by it. The addition of cream, vanillas and sweetener's is a standard secondary flavoring bundle that is used in probably half the juices out there, varying by percentages to achieve variations in the flavor genres. I know I use them in many, many recipes.

My money is on AndriaD's recipe. I know she worked on this recipe for about a year, I believe, and I witnessed many iterations until it was perfect! Give it a try. Highly recommended! :toast: :D

I made Andrias recipe last weekend. It is delicious, & the Shisha Strawberry is spot on freash sliced straberries. I even get a bit of that green taste. It's a keeper for your sure!

Stop it already. My second flavor order in two weeks is arriving today and I still don't have the inawera or the cap sweet cream. I guess I should put those on my list.

I dumped out the strawberry cheesecake that I mixed using strawberry and strawberry ripe. I know people say that mixing the two is good but I didn't like it. It might just be that I'm so used to the ripe.

I went to a place in Cologne, Germany...

I'm OT here, but it relates to comments already posted about Cologne -
I was there with some friends in 1996, so there was no big BBQ store there then. But, we were amazed by the MASSIVE cathedral in the center of town...1 of the largest, most intricately designed, and most famous in all of Europe. (Name of it slips my mind right now.)

A cleaning crew was on the outside of it, some on scaffolding, some on those window-washer type of hanging platforms. We commented to a local that it must take a long time to clean every nook & cranny, intricate design, etc. on the whole outside of the cathedral. He told us...actually, they never finish cleaning all the car exhaust gunk, bird poop, etc. off of it! It takes years (yes, years) to work their way around and totally clean it all. By the time they do that...it's time to start the whole process all over again, so it's neverending! Totally amazed all of us.

By the way, I agree about the wonderful food, the beer, the friendly people, etc. in Germany. We visited 9 countries, and Germany was 1 of my top 2 favorites. :)

My latest BCV order just arrived. This was a small order to replace the Bavarian cream I ruined so I added a few flavors to the order. I got bittersweet chocolate, Belgian waffle, fudge brownie, cream cheese icing, and a large bottle of Bavarian cream. I was thinking about trying the fudge brownie recipe on the dropbox list. I've never really used any kind of chocolate vape before so it should be interesting.

@Bill's Magic Vapor - Tried another 1 of your recipes last night. Since you have 2 for Peach Cobbler in your recipe lists (yours + Jo's Peach Cobbler), I tried some given % for the flavorings from each recipe. Came up with something I liked so well that I made a 50mL bottle of it. Vaping it right now in fact. It's very Yummy!

Now, on to making yet another bottle of your Cream Fantastico and your Flamingo today. Gave so many samples of each away to some of my new vaping converts...that I'm very low on them now. Can't have none for myself! :)

Glad to hear it! The world of juice making is a wonderful and practical hobby for us vapers. Just wanted to mention that the reason that there are two Peach Cobbler recipes is that my wife Jo's tastes have changed over the years, so I adjusted the recipe (Jo's Peach Cobbler) to suit her new tastes, but I think they're both very good. She has preferred the peach cobbler, the vanilla custard, and the dutch apple pie ala mode the best over the years.

By the way, Amazon has some pretty great prices on sample bottles. I think they come from Asia, so they take a bit of time to get here, but at about a dime a piece, they're well worth it. Like you, I have given away hundreds, if not thousands, of samples away, over the years. I still have friends who take it for granted that I'm going to be making their juice, I guess for the rest of time! Oh, well. That's for another day. Best of luck to you in your VapeQuest! :toast: :D

Just wanted to pipe in that the TFA Sweet Cream I believe will also work just fine for you in this recipe. Also, while you prefer the TFA ripe strawberry, I prefer the sweet strawberry flavor from TFA. So, definitely a taste preference issue. I don't think, though, that the TFA strawberry, ripe or otherwise, compares very well with the inawera. I believe the inawera is quite a bit better from everyone that has tried both. So, just two cents for ya. Good luck! :toast: :D

Bill, I took a look at BCV and they are sold out of the inawera right now.

I was looking at the list of flavors I just got and was thinking of what I could make with just those. I'm stuck at work and have just those new flavors and a bottle of 36mg vg nic but no vg or pg to dilute it. I guess I'm better off just waiting until I get home.

Another question. How do you sample new flavors individually when you get them? I was thinking to just put a dab on my finger and taste them. Is that weird?

I've heard some people mix it with a little cool whip
Personally, I just make up a 2ml sample. I always try each new flavor solo.
That way I know how strong they are, and how much I think they will contribute to a recipe.
I can always add a drop, or dilute, or sweeten the sample to see how it goes.
I always add my nic to the sample, because it has a big effect on the flavoring.

Tasting straight may not work. I did that on accident with Cap French Vanilla and the alcohol in it is so overpowering it's all you taste.

Thanks for the tip! For now, I'm still good on new empty plastic dropper bottles (have about 380 3mL, 150 of the 5mL, and 200+ of the 15mL.) I've been buying mine from a US plastics company that deals with bottles, test tubes & racks, beakers, graduated cylinders, etc. for the pharmeceutical, educational, & scientific fields. A friend works there & I can buy their overstocks when they have them. I love their quality, their strict specs, & the prices I pay for them. If/when they run out though...I'll definitely check Amazon.

I've also got a bunch of their screw-on cap bottles stashed for now (PP and LDPE) in 50mL, 60mL, and 125mL sizes. Also about 100 each of the screw-on cap HDPE dark amber ones in 5oz. (150mL) and 8oz. (250mL). I don't use those for sample sizes though of course. But your new recipes I've been making will be going in some of those sizes.

In fact, you've been such a help to so many of us on here, (with your 100DT, your recipes, and all the other help & information you provide on a regular basis for us)...I'd love to send you some of the 125mL empty bottles for free, if you'd let me. I have 1,500+ of those, so it's not like I'll need them all in my lifetime. You can PM me if you'll take me up on it. :)

I made my first attempt today. It's not completely horrible. So that's something I guess. lol I only made 10 mls and I've got it sitting in some warm water now to see how that helps. I think next time I will try to make a bigger batch. I can see where that would be a little easier maybe. Thanks for the help you guys gave me a few days ago. I'm sure I'll be around asking more questions soon.

I really don't know when the grilling revolution started there, but it's in full swing now!

    BBQ Beef
    BBQ Pork
BBQ Wild Boar (more prevalent than "pork")
    BBQ Venison
BBQ Poultry (not just yard bird; pheasant and grouse)
    BBQ Bacon Pies
    BBQ Pastries and Hours Devours
    BBQ Sausages...

Shoot if it can be grilled, they are grilling it!

It's a spin off of the traditional smoked cured German foods!

Now everyone, not just the "smoke houses" are smoking ...BBQ, it's great!

You add that to their love of food and the outdoors, it's a great combination.

Wow! I thought I had a lot of extra bottles. Thank you for the offer. I'm really good. I still have a good stash from back in the day when I did commercial, and purchased in rather large quantities. I still have a few cases of the amber brown bottles too that I need to get rid of one of these days. Sounds like you had a better connection than I ever did, though! Many thanks! Best! :toast: :D

Ok, so the best thing would be to do single flavor mixes to get a taste for the individual flavors.
When I taste test flavors for the first time, I start with a 5% mix (19 drops PG and 1 drop of flavoring). I use three drops on my vaporizer wick/coil, and then continue to add flavor and PG drops to the mix as I check out higher percentages. I can generally figure out the starting flavor in just a few minutes. I would attach the chart I use, but I don't know how. What's the best way to attach a pdf? Anyone? :toast::D

Hi Bill! I can't answer your question but do have some of my own for you. I saw many recipes in the Dropbox that I would like to try. I'm going to assume that where you have no company listed for flavoring that you used TFA, correct? If you want to make some of those recipes and didn't have TFA but other companies flavorings, would you use the same percentages that you used?

They are all TFA flavors unless shown otherwise. Most are all TFA's. Percentages would vary from brand to brand as they come in a range of different strengths vendor to vendor. Good luck! :toast: :D

Thanks Bill. I got some new flavors on my last two orders that I want to try to see how to use them. One is French vanilla cream.
