I bought honey for the lemonade recipe but I'm not really sure that I like it in the recipe. Of course I let it steep for maybe 2 hours before vaping it. I might mix another bottle and let it sit for a week or so. I know it's not much of a recipe but I'm enjoying the French vanilla crème and biscuit mix I stumbled on when dripping flavors to see what they tasted like. If anyone is interested, it's 13% FVC and 5% biscuit. It's shake and vape. No steeping necessary.

As far as I know now, I'm doing ok on flavors except for maybe a few big bottles needed to make my menthol tobacco. I just emptied my reserve bottles for that one. I may hold off on flavors for now.

I don't remember if I mentioned it already but I really like the uwell crown tanks and recently bought two of the rafale tanks by uwell. I was intending on saving them for my stash but thought I better open one and see how I like it. I didn't care much for either of the stock coils so I looked around and found what I think is a really good deal on the rba's for them. If anyone is interested, I found them here.

If you use a tobacco flavor that is the one i would personally stock up on,if your making your own tobacco extract, then it will be good to go.The only tobacco type flavor i use now is Ry4 double, that is the 1 flavor i believe i may have trouble getting,so i will get the biggest bottle i can afford to buy, then it will buy me plenty of time to try and make my own version of it,i know there is caramel and vanilla, just need to find a suitable tobacco flavor to extract to get close to the same taste.

Yeah I think you're right about ry4 dbl. I'm going to get another 4oz bottle. It really upsets me because I use it so much.

I'm going to try and get the 32 oz. bottle,if not definitely getting the 16 oz.
Although,we may get lucky because from what a lot of people are getting from reading through the regs,is that they aren't really going after diy stuff too much, more the finished flavored juices,so who knows, maybe all the flavors we use will stay available, but since i use the ry4d so much,i will buy now and then see what happens.

I use tobacco absolute. I bought a 15ml bottle a couple years ago and have only used 2ml out of it. It's like tar as far as consistency so I mix it with pg so it's usable.
Yeah,i bought a small jar of it,and i agree definitely like tar,and that little jar will last me a lifetime haha,to make a 10% solution with it,i think it was 1 little tiny scoop full from the little spoon that came with it,added to 10ml of pg if i remember right.

I do one ml of absolute to 9 ml of pg and only use 12 drops per 30ml of mix.
Now that you mention it,i think that's how i made mine too.I remember trying to use the little spoon, then finally warming up the jar and using a syringe to measure out the 1ml.I made a 10ml bottle around a year ago,and still have probably 9ml left plus most of the jar of paste,so i'm set on it for a lifetime haha.

A little does go a long way. I have a friend that just got some of the inawera absolute and he said its thinner and must be diluted. He's supposed to let me know how it works for him.
Yeah,i have a bottle of the Inawera virginia absolute. It is just as thin as a regular flavoring. To me,it doesn't seem to need any further diluting though, just used in small %,around 1-2% or so,but when Andria was around, she posted a recipe,i think it was called smocha, and she used the virginia at 2.5% without further diluting.

That might be nice to have. The straight stuff is a bit of a challenge to work with.
It's definitely a lot easier to work with than the paste. The only problem then becomes figuring out which one you like the best haha.Inawera has like 4 or 5 different absolutes.I may pick up a few more that they have to try, there is one that is a cavendish type, and the pipe tobacco's i have extracted, seemed like the ones with the cavendish were the best tasting to me.

Speaking of custards... @b.m. have ya tried the Brickhouse yet? You should be plenty steeped by now, right? :)
Ok,finally got around to trying it haha.I gotta say,it's pretty good. The only thing i may change,is when i make more,i think i'll drop the egg nog a bit,as for me,it seems really up front, but still a good one even the way it is,i'm vaping on it now.
Of course now,i have to try that honey nut one you posted, next time i break out the mixing supplies i'll make up a batch of that.Love me some honey and nut stuff,so that should be a winner too.

I forgot about it but I have the cavendish. It's strong and has a strong smell when vaped. I bought it to try in one recipe. I tried a liquid once called sweet Caroline and recognized the taste when I tried the cavendish in the recipe.

So, not only has vaping made me relearn I learned about electricity in high school, it's making me relearn algebra as well.

The wife had recently started vaping, and wants to vape all the pre-mix liquid I have sitting around, even though it's all 3mg/ml. Then, she doesn't know if she wants 9mg or 12mg, or maybe 7, or...

    ((ml premix * 3) + (X ml * nic strength)) / (ml premix + X ml) = desired nic strength

For example, with 15 ml of juice at 3mg, I needed to figure out how many ml of 30mg nic base to add to get to 9mg:

    ((15 * 3) + (x * 30)) / (15 + x) = 9

Looks like algebra comes in handy now and then.

    BOOM!

When I want to increase nicotine, I subtract the current nic. from the nic. percentage I want to end up with. I then set my calculator to that number as my target nic. I enter the amount of juice I am altering and the number it gives me for nic. is what I add.

So, you want to change 17ml of left over 3mg to 7mg so that is an increase of 4 mg/ml. I enter 17ml in to my calculator as my amount to be made and 4mg as my target nic. The amount of nic it says for the "recipe" is how much I need to add to bring it up to 7mg.

Hahaha... that's the differences in people's palates. I hardly even notice the egg nog. Funny how that works... Thank you for your thoughts on it, man. I'm happy that you're liking it!
As for the honey nut custard, I think it is still a bit too sweet and could use a little more refining. Maybe bring the honey a little more forward, lower the sweetener, and possibly add a tiny bit of AP. I don't have any AP at the moment, so I can't experiment with that part. Either way, I look forward to seeing what you think about that one. :)

I'm guessing it's the egg nog i'm tasting up front,it's that spicy type taste,i think it's probably the nutmeg from the egg nog,but this was my first time using the Bourbon vanilla too,so it could be something in that also.My palate isn't that great to detect exactly where it's coming from haha.
