this thing is really going to puke juice on top of your mod if you don't wick it right

You do have a Point.

It might not be a recommended RTA for noobs (much less anyone else who may have difficulty in achieving ideal wicking), but the possibility of leakage exists for any RTA - especially ones with significant airflow.

I thought the same thing. And even if your wicking is spot-on perfect, condensation is going to collect on top of your mod. Even the best wicking won't fix that.

I think this is a Good Point Also.

When I first started using Bottom Coil Tanks, it took a few Tries to get the right amount of Wicking. Too much, and I would get Dry Hits. Not enough and I would get e-Liquid in the Air Flow canal.

I shim all my RTA/RBA's. So there isn't going to be much of a chance of Getting e-Liquid in the 510 Connection.

But this type of RTA might not best choice for a First Time builder.

Back-in-the-day when I used Kanger Aerotank Mini's (and Protank Mini's combined with airflow control bases) exclusively, the airflow control posed the same possibility of condensation because the airflow came from underneath the base (same as on this RTA) - but this was never a problem. Although the design and airflow performance on those old tanks don't compare to RTAs, condensation is an interesting possibility but for me I don't see it as being a negative. A quick wipe between refills would take care of that if/when necessary. I'll certainly be able to report my findings after I receive mine early this week.

Anyone get theirs yet? Mine shipped from GB Friday or Saturday but I imagine it'll be at least a week and a half until I have it, so curious to hear first impressions.

Also I've seen Youde say that it is top fill at least three different times on facebook. I don't know how it's true top fill, especially if the upper chimney is threaded into the top cap (because this makes it difficult to nit unscrew chimney base while removing top cap).

But still, for $21 why not... has to be great flavor and the plug for single coil builds will be nice for tc.

I'm more excited for goliath 2, but still quite intrigued by this. I have the urge to buy some colored replacement glass and I don't even have it yet

Mine shipped Yesterday from Origin Vape in New York.

So it should arrive at the End of the Week.

So the deck is made for dual coils but there is some kind of special plug for single coil? Would you just build on one side of the deck? I'm really tempted to order one right now, but even though I probably will eventually, I guess I want to see the feedback from people getting theirs first. There's a video review up on Youtube, but I'm waiting for more info. Does anyone know where to get the colored versions of these? I only see the clear tank ones available on a couple of sites.

Yes... It is my Understanding that the Goblin Mini comes with a Single Coil plug that goes into one of the Dual Air Holes in the Deck.

I have Regular Goblin. But mine did not come with plug. So I just put a Piece of a Bamboo Skewer into the Hole for a Single Coil Build. It works Well.

Like I said, Mine should be here at the End of the Week. And I'll do a Mini Review of it when it Arrives.

BTW - The one I got from Origin Vape comes with a Clear Tank/Drip Tip. The Colored Glass Tank/Tips are sold Seperately.

So I know in the picture posted above the thing to the left of the Goblin is the plug so you can use it in single-coil mode, but what's the thing on the right side? It looks like a different top cap or something but appears to be too small in diameter to fit so I'm super confused.

Also shouldn't it be easy to top fill by just unscrewing the top cap and leaving the chimney in place?

It almost looks like a second top cap, I'm thinking either the glass drip tip is proprietary/permanently affixed to the one top cap and that's for 510 tips, or the second piece is purely stylistic, for people who prefer a raised drip tip look. But take that with half a grain of salt, I've done absolutely zero research on this tank, though those pictures have me very very tempted to order one during one sale or another this week.

EDIT: As per Eciggity:

Includes:

1x Goblin Mini RTA by Youde

1x 510 Drip Tip Adaptor

1x Single Coil Adaptor

1x Extra Pyrex Tank

1x Extra Glass Drip Tip

1x Bag of O-Rings and Screws

Annnd added to cart. Haha

EDIT 2: Use code JUL20 for 20% off. Site wide excluding YiHi products. 24 hours, ending midnight Pacific Standard Time. Score!

Darn you Labubs.. very tempting to order it now with the discount. Even though I did see it on Eciggity earlier, I was just looking to see which sites were carrying it. Ah well.. I'm on the page where I enter my CC info. I have a few hours to decide whether or not to go through with it lol.

Ahaha I know the 1 day sale really got to me too! I was in the same boat as you, heard a few rumblings here and there on this little guy but wanted to wait til the jury was out before ordering, but I couldn't pass up this and a Vector clone for $41 and some change shipped. I'm excited about the Vector as well, we have a couple authentic ones at the B&M I work weekends at and it has a BEAUTIFULLY machined deck(that center post and Vulcan style floating negatives that I suppose will become that companies' calling card are pretty stunning in person) and extremely interesting airflow which seems will be either a complete home run or total bust for flavor, though I imagine leaks will be non existent. I hope the Tobeco comes close to the original on those points. But hey, for less than 15 bucks it's a perfect opportunity to get a feel for the thing and deciding whether or not to grab one of the authentics. Most of my tanks and drippers are black and I need some stainless toppers in my life for a skeleton key I've been using a whole lot lately so it took extreme restraint not to go crazy on my order from eciggity, but I've already blown through about half of my 4th sales budget in juice and now these and its not even the weekend yet!

Anyway, starting to get off topic, I'll be sure to post back here with first impressions after a day or two with the Goblin. My main job during the week involves a lot of driving around and mods in and out of pockets constantly so that should be a good leak factor test, I'm already assuming flavor will be top notch and very clean and I'm pretty excited to have the option for single coil if I want it, that's a nice touch. The wait begins!

I received mine today and my initial impressions are very positive.

The juice channels are the extremely generous and the airflow is no different. Currently I'm using the single coil option, and with the airflow wide open it is plentiful for lung-inhaling aficionados. (I expect the dual coil option would offer twice the airflow and for me I couldn't imagine needing that much.) After two tankfuls, condensation has not been an issue with this new bottom-style air intake.

The single coil feature works great and the plug sits nicely in the airflow slot and two of the juice channels. (Later I will experiment with dual coils but that will be a while since I prefer single coil builds.)

For my first build, it seems I nailed it because I've experienced no leaking, flooding, nor dry hits. Twice I've laid the tank on its side for at least 15 minutes each time with no issues. My coil is 3mm in diameter and you probably wouldn't want to (or need to) go any larger on this base. I plan to try 2.5mm on my next build. For my wick I put a very small portion of the tails into the opening of the juice channels while making sure I don't block it off. (Maybe later I'll experiment with blocking the channels completely because they're so wide it would seem the performance wouldn't suffer.)

The flavor is plentiful. My typical juice is very high VG (85+% with zero PG). Lately my daily vape has been Tobacco Absolute @ 0.5% with 87% VG and 12.5% distilled water.

To use your own drip tip, the adapter must be used because the other one is for the pyrex tip and is too large in diameter to fit a standard drip tip. I have not tried this option yet.

The threading is smooth and there was no machine oil on any of the parts - although I soaked mine in vodka then gave it a warm soapy bath as always.

So far the only negative is a portion of the base is sharp...the air intake area on the bottom part of the base on both sides (immediately above the airflow adjustment lever).

Something else to note is the top portion of the chimney (which screws into the top cap) can screw down further inside of the main section of the chimney if you don't screw it into the top cap first. I'm not sure why it was built this way but it may have something to do with the extra top cap feature. I'll find out once I use that extra cap option with my own drip tip.

For me this tank has performed well so far. It is very low profile which is one of the reasons why I chose to buy one. Looking forward to reading other reviews.

Darn! Missed the sale by a few hours, got a pair of Goblin Minis coming my way now though (and a bunch of other goodies)

Really hoping the mini turns out to be as good as it looks, I just got a TC mod and the single coil option of the mini makes it seem like a good tank for temp control.

Very Cool eddiea. Can't wait to get mine.

From the Pictures, it looks like there might be a Little More room on the Deck than on the Regular Goblin. Do you have a Regular Goblin? And if so, how do the Deck Sizes compare?

Also, have you Noticed and Condensation or Leaking at the base from the Air Inlet Holes?

I can answer some of this. lol
I didn't compare the decks before building the Mini. Eitherway, it didn't seem that much of a difference - but I could be wrong. One thing I noticed is that the wick channels are bigger, or at least they seem so as the deck isn't so high; when I build the goblin, I always catch some resistance from the wick when I'm screwing the base of the chimney. On the mini there was no such thing.

Been vaping the Mini all afternoon and there was a little bit of condensation but nothing worth worrying. I'm vaping with the airflow almost on the Min, which can change somewhat the condensation level.
Leaks - none. :)

I'm really loving the Mini. It is really, really a good idea, turned into a very good product. Youde is nailing it these days.

Also, a note: this thing rocks with Clapton dual coils on the Ego One. It's a match made in heaven!

Glad I ordered one last night then. Eciggity ships from Hawaii sooooo... it might take a while to get here to Georgia. Wish they offered colored tanks as the replacement tank, but maybe I'll pick one up in the future or from Fasttech when/if they have them.

So the top fill aspect of the tank is a complete no-go I guess. I wonder why someone at Youde (or at least their fb page) kept saying that it was. Either way, its not a major concern for me as long as the tank works well. The plug seems nice, I was imagining something smaller but I'm glad they made something for those of us who like single coils. I'm so used to condensation from my other tanks that if there is a little on this, it wouldn't bother me.

I want to see! Pics?
