Haven't looked much yet. Yesterday was really busy, hopefully can find something. For most people exercise equipment becomes a giant clothes hanger or dust collector so I'm sure I'll find something

or something that gets moved to the back yard and becomes a pile of rust.....

Cavenerd, my motivation comes from not wanting to gain back the 66 pounds I lost. No way in hell. It was too hard to get off and I will never be fat again. And boy if you knew all the inspirations I got last year to keep me hitting the treadmill and keep eating healthy. I was flooded with inspirations and it still continues. And signing up for 5Ks and 10Ks helps too...I got a 10K coming up on March 7th.

Did my fastest 5K last night.....30:40. :)

Always, I wouldn't worry about exercise until you feel better and get over your sickness. It's not good to stress your body with exercise during illness. Just take it easy, get well, and you can get back at it soon. :)

ETA: And what exactly is a cadence run? Is that when you run as a group? And maybe chant as you run? hellifiknow...I guess I could google it. :)

66#? How awesome! That's a 7-year old. Amazing! Good for you. One of my main motivations is keeping the fat off. I was miserable when I was tubby. Feel much better and better about myself thinner.

Good luck on the 10K!

And you nailed the concept of the cadence run. It's never strenuous because we run to the slowest runner but a big group running and singing and motivating each other is fun.

Moto-moto-moto-moto-MOTIVATION!

Google military cadence. Some are pretty funny.

I've always planked on the elbows. I do "high-planks" (on my hands) occasionally, but I feel like it's a better workout the smaller angle. I've been doing Tabata Abs lately and it's crushing my core. Maybe tomorrow at the gym I'll try some tabata planks.

Happy Valentines Day everyone.

No workouts scheduled today except the Valentine's Day kind (*wink*)

planks remind me too much of sex...

Which can also be a great AB workout. (just sayin')

President's day run complete - 6.2 miles in 58 minutes. Not bad for the first day back after a "drinky" weekend. Had to get up early to beat the heat and realized at .5 mi in that it was cold outside. WT heck?

GF wants me to run with her tonight because she didn't want to get up. Thinking about hiding her shoes when she goes to the store.

Elliptical on its way. I'm still not up for much movement anyway so I guess it all worked out. Haven't been doing great on food either, the winter blues are getting to me all the way around. Currently looking at all inclusive vacations pretending I could afford to go somewhere warm

Winter is when the body wants to store extra to keep warm. At least you have the elliptical coming. Think about that all inclusive while you are working out on it ;)

I didn't do a darn thing yesterday.

Today I am going to get back on the elliptical and work that three miles :)
I have been maintaining nicely. I was actually a couple under goal so gave myself the license to not do anything yesterday. As long as I step on that scale daily, I find maintaining is easier.

Veggie omelette for dinner tonight with rye toast. Filling and good. Those frozen veggies in the bag work great for whenever you need them. Just pull out what you want and don't even have to worry about thawing them. Chop them to the size you want and throw them in the eggs. They will thaw as the eggs cook and then they will cook up also. I added a bit of ham lunch meat for more protein and for the salt flavoring. No cheese for me. I am not crazy about the egg/cheese combo. I like eggs and I like cheese. Just can't stand them together LOL.

Spring is around the corner.... Let's get ready for it!

About to do my ball exercises, planks, and 4 miles on the elliptical.. Will be watching an episode of Scandal. Exciting evening planned, don't be jealous!
