A Lion doesn't have the luxury of meal planning. He eats when he can depending on availability and how well Mrs. Lion is hunting. :)
Well, I don't have any lionesses at the moment. That actually suits me just fine. Dating can be pretty taxing. The holidays are a welcome respite!

IG, I have tried Truvia, I'm one of those people that gets a bitter/weird taste with it. I used equal, then splenda for years. TMI.. but I had some bladder issues that pretty much disappeared when I quit splenda and went back to real sugar.

Truvia tastes like beets to me. I do sugar in the raw.

I want the slow cooker recipe for steel oats. I can freeze it then. :D I have one of best eating kids in the world. He has never like meat ever. I remember taking him into an organic store and he saw organic tofu weiners. "Why would they make fake weiners when weiners are fake anyways?" Good question little man. He loves green apples, carrots, spinach, olives, anchovies, hummus, refried beans etc. He's an old soul.

We discovered almond milk a year ago and never went back. They even have strawberry flavoured. I'm not a sugar person at all. I do use honey in tea sometimes but that's it. I am bad with coffee cream though. I use 18% fat cream and I LOVE IT. That is my only downfall other than red wine of course.

The artificial sweeteners have never agreed with me either. I get migraines almost immediately from them. I just used sugar in moderation. Now hardly at all.

And the Lion joins me in the no scale way of life. I can tell where I'm at without one just fine.

Same here. Haven't owned a scale in decades. I was weighed recently when I hurt my ankle - and my weight was right around what I thought. I go for feeling heathy and energized - and not wanting to buy new clothes. ;)

Blueberries are the BEST thing ever. I put them in cottage cheese and other fruit too and always add wacks of fruit to every salad that I make even if it has meat in it. Strange, strange Canadians eh?

I bet fruit added to a salad would mean dressing wouldn't be needed... Nice! :D

I like the almond milk too. My oldest just got me to try cashew milk and that's wonderful (but can only find it at whole foods, which is no where near my house).

I like almond milk for mixing in my oatmeal. But not really for drinking. I haven't tried the sweetened kind - it seems counterproductive.
