wow papaw ! you just have to be REALLY dedicated to it I guess , does not sound like you are gonna have it easy  I also share a home with my cousin and her fiancé , they believe in frying everything . At first it was appealing to me until I started to eat healthier , then just the smell miraculously started turning my stomach(thank God) so hang in there

My Wife of 29 years genuinely believes 'Fat and Happy' is the way to go. And she IS a very good cook.
But if I want to loose 35 pounds, I will just have to do what I have to do. Even if it means ignoring her cooking

Hubby is starting his diet today. At least we are on the same page now. Although, I have been making more healthy meals for us for the last month or so. :)

So I go to Wal Mart, load up on Breakfast Drinks, Fresh Fruits and Healthy Request Campbell Soups (I actually like those soups). The local Super Center has a Deli/ Bakery that serves great Popcorn Chicken, Pasta Salads, etc., but I stayed away. Also a McD's in there, but I stayed away. Did not stop at any fats food places, came strait home. Rewarded myself with a Broccoli crown and a teaspoon of Tarter Sauce (no ranch dressing). So as I'm sitting there trying to savor the flavor of raw broccoli & tarter sauce (not bad, actually) Mamaw sits next to me with warm homemade Apple Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream.
"So, how's this diet of your going to work ?" she asks.

I am married to the Devil........

Give her all your surplus cans of beenie weenies. That'll take care of her!

A friend of mine used to say that his wife always treated him like a God when they first got married. "Burnt offerings" every day.. :D

200 lbs. That is my "I wanna puke" mark. Third time in this lifetime I've let myself go so badly.
So, I broke out the VCR (still works, yea !) and an old video called 'Stretch to Win'. Basically a California Yuppie and two pregnant college girls doing 30 minutes of light aerobics. Even I can do that. Once. Need to do it daily.
Now comes the hard part - calorie intake. The way my wife can cook, that won't be easy. Breakfast Drinks, Fresh Fruit, Vitamins. Been down this road before.
Target Weight - 165 by my birthday (June 14th). Don't be surprised if I stop by this thread occasionally to piss and moan....
Good to see you here, sir.

Glad to hear that. Go Rick!

Snowboarding is a great way to burn calories, you know!
