This was just bad food. New management. It wasn't a favorite of ours, SIL's husband liked the place. Her husband has an upset tummy today. He couldn't eat his meal either.

How are you??!?!?! Haven't seen you around in a while! Miss you
Yeah, I had a busy weekend at the International Motorcycle Show in DC. I'm also working a couple of other projects for me, and doing my job at work. Busy, busy, busy. I decided I don't have time for dating, which has helped.

I'll try not to be so scarce, Ms. Robin.

:D YAY!!

Down .2 here. LOL I'm doing the s l o w S t e a d y weight loss

I am going to use today as a down day. I may get on the elliptical and just do a couple of miles walking. Just to do something without too much strain on the hips. I think I will also get out my light weights and do some arm exercises.

I am going to lay on my back and bring my arms up while extended holding the weights. Just a little something to do.

Did some weight workout on the arms. Full plank position held for 30 seconds !! Decided to just do half an hour on the elliptical about walking speed. 2.786 miles in 30 minutes. Burned a whole 163 calories LOL.

Oh and I put my belt on this afternoon... I have lost 2" on my waist. Yeeehaaaawwwwww! Thighs are looking better too  :)

Feeling disappointed in myself today. Gave in and weighed, haven't lost a thing. Makes me think every time I feel lighter I'm just deluding myself.

Idk. It's disappointing and frustrating. I know my hormones are way off, but I'd think by this point something should've changed. Not sure what to do.

Anyway, gonna up my water today and hope I was just holding on to water weight. Otherwise I just need to reevaluate.

No exercise last night...too dang cold for me. But I was down some this morning. I'm 1.8 lbs away from my lowest weight, as I've been hovering within my 5 lb range I've allowed myself. Today we walk at lunch. YAY! And what is exciting is we have a coworker who will be walking with us as he starts his lifestyle/nutrition changes. I talked to him for 20 minutes yesterday about his life transformation and he was so excited I couldn't get a word in edgewise. :)

Made a mistake on my weight. I gained .2
Must have been wishful thinking

Always, I wish I had words of wisdom. When I first started this journey, I was getting frustrated and disappointed. I found that Bridget was correct that I needed to work up a sweat and to get something in me in the morning. I didn't start really losing until I started sweating in my 'workout'.

Your normal activity is keeping you from gaining, which is good. Now to figure out what to do to start the losing process.

I'm looking into anti inflammatory diets. I have 2 autoimmune disorders and I know that can wreak havoc on my hormones, and a high possibility of hypothyroid as well. So I'm thinking some tweaking of my diet, and I really really need to get an elliptical or something. With the kids I don't have time to get out to run or go to a gym or anything (let alone the money) so I need something I can do inside. Strength training is great, but I have to figure out ways to get cardio in. I just need to change things up til I find what works.

Hang in there Always , it will get better if you stick with it ! I did good yesterday (except I had a homemade biscuit  ) still stayed in my calorie range .. I did 2.0 miles yesterday ! did one mile before a 30 minute core class then 1 mile after and about 20 minutes in the sauna . I forgot to weigh when I got there but was back down to 173.8 after my workout . One thing I am struggling with is eating breakfast , I have tried today to have a pear ate half , oatmeal 2 bites and coffee a quarter cup . I don't like doing this because I know I am going to be starving later and risk eating dangerously
