Yup, Ultrafire are POS. I wouldn't use them if they were free. Which battery did you order? Hopefully it's a AW from Super-T or another authorized reseller and you should be good to go.

Ya, that is what I have on the way. Do they really make that much difference? I've been vaping a year and a half on those and although I love it, I have always felt like it could be better. I've tried 6v also, and haven't quite gotten the volts/watts to their sweet spot for me. Too picky I guess. Even with juice.

AW's will blow the Ultra/trust/fires out of the water, see example graph below of popular ultrafire 18650's vs AW P18650. The AW's hold up to .4 tenths higher voltage under load (more vapor, more throat hit) and have more mAh to boot!

Yup! I can attest to that :) I sold my ultrafire 18650 right after I bought it and bought some of the good ones.

Although can you use18650's with the kick ?
Seems like the "good" batts are almost like regulated, though at 4.2 volts lol

The only mod I know of that can use an 18650 at the same time as the Kick is the GGTS. At least till David makes either an extension or a Kick integrated cap for the P+18 series.

Also, do NOT use your 3100 with the Kick. IMR batts ONLY. They are the only batts that can handle the amp draw.
