What's the actual resistance on the carto? It could be -/+ 2, so you may actually be running a 1.5 ohm carto without realizing it.

Edit: I think it probably is 1.5, that voltage on a 1.5 ohm would be exactly 10 watts. Also - I don't think they make 1.7 ohm dual coils - they usually skip from 1.5 straight to 2.0

Tested the Ω and it was 1.7Ω, but it could just be the dual coil messing with the Kick. I will try a different setup later. It's not bad at all, just not as warm as I like it. This thing is so small, built very well. It's only my first day with this so of course I'm going to hit some speed bumps.

When do you expect them to be in stock again?

The remaining Kicks have shipped today, with the exception of an order or two that also had a PrecisePlus on them.

On the international orders for Kicks that shipped Via EMS Global express, i'll sit down and send out your tracking numbers shortly as your Kicks shipped too. On international orders that shipped via Priority mail, yours shipped too, but there is no tracking on Priority mail.

Enjoy your Kicks!

Remember, DCs are unique animals. They are two much higher ohms coils wired in parallel resulting in a much lower Ωs reading/rating. The power is being spilt between two much higher ohms coils resulting in a MUCH cooler vape compared to the same ohms on a single coil. I realize you may be well experienced with Dual Coils but not everyone understands this significant distinction.

Also, some devices are lossier than others. This should not be an issue in the rhodium'd P+ but could be in other devices (perhaps TS). The under-load voltage may change from device to device even with the same battery and carto/atty. Also, the under-load meter could possibly be adding a tiny bit of additional resistance which could also result in a slightly different actual vape with and without the meter attached.

Got mine today and been playing with it for a couple of hours...

I built a new 2.4 ohm coil for it's arrival and running it at the highest setting (10w). It's been performing beautifully! I'm a happy man, just loving it!

Thank you to the SuperT team for expediting so quickly :toast:

hey Vlad very cool man. it looks like you found what you were looking for. Happy for ya buddy. Now nwxt time make 2 coils 1 for me also lololol happy vaping nirvana

Sorry, if someone has already asked this before, but is the Kick compatible with Altsmoke Omega?
It's not listed in the Kick Instructions on the Evolv website.
I can verify that the Kick works in the Omega. In fact, it fires MUCH more consistently (I always had to find a "sweet spot" to push down on, not anymore). I love the Kick. I'll write more about it tomorrow.
Boy, how I miss my P+es right now...

Hey buddy, thanks, yes I certainly found what I was looking for! :thumb:

I have no problem admitting that I had rather high expectations for the Kick and I'm thrilled that the expectations were met. I feel that it is exactly what it's supposed to be and that it performs exactly as it was said it would. Being a "reckless TH" kind of guy, I was just a little nervous about the 10w limit. But after close to about 11 hrs of using the Kick, I'm not exactly sure I would turn it up any higher even if I could. 10w with the Kick is pretty "reckless" with my current setup. I'll obviously test it more over the next few days with different setups but so far I'm extremely happy with it!

I really do feel like my vaping arsenal is now complete. In fact, I'm having a difficult time trying to think of what else I could possibly need. Pure Bliss for sure :toast:

Right now I assume most people know what a wise investment the Kick is. What I found interesting is that once I dialed it in to what I felt was the proper setting by trial and error, that setting confirmed what I already knew! To put it another way, I had always vaped a 1.7 ohm atty at just above 3.7 volts 3.8, 3.9, 'round in there. If I had a 3.5 ohm atty the voltage would be 5.4, 5.5 ish. Little did I know that generally in each case that was giving me just under 9 watts. I just never thought about in those terms and am kind of surprised that whatever I had settled into was so consistent no matter what atty I had on it.

I guess that's the point, eh?

I've been thinking the same thing, however I need to make at least one more purchase - I need another P+18500. Never again will I put myself in the position of not having my favorite mod in which to put the Kick.

[Edit: There. Done deal.]

Is there an o-ring that is just a tiny tiny bit larger than the thick one that comes with the 18650? I am using that one with the Kick/18500 battery and I am getting a slight wobble when I turn it upside down. Probably not enough to even worry about but I wouldn't mind trying out some different o-rings :D Is anyone else getting a slight wobble?

Edit: Actually I just switched batteries and it seems that it is just one of my batteries that might be slightly smaller than the other because this one doesn't move at all :D They can't all be exactly the same I suppose
