To some extant, bigger coil will give you more flavor, because more juice is being vaporized. A good example; 28g wire 5 wraps vs 24g wire 7 wraps. But at some point, going with even bigger coil becomes pointless; 24g 7 wraps vs 24g 10 wraps. Imagine drinking 7oz of Pepsi vs 10oz of Pepsi (7 wraps vs 10wraps); you wont get more flavor from drinking bigger gulps. Now if you went from 0.05oz gulp of Pepsi to 7oz gulp of pepsi, then you would be able to taste the full flavor of Pepsi. The reason you not tasting as much of pepsi at 0.05oz, is because not all taste buds are equally saturated for your brain to register the full flavor from Pepsi.

Now i vape at 25watts (24g 7 wraps, 0.71ohm spaced coil). If i go to 30 watts or a little higher, then vapor is warmer and juice tastes better. But warmer juice taste better, just like food tastes better when its warm/hot instead of cold. Our taste buds react to flavor better to hot foods then cold foods. Try warm sushi roll, it tastes 10 times better then a cold sushi roll. I'll never eat cold sushi ever again.

And if its not priming fast enough, then you might want to re-adjust your wick. Take a paper clip and stick it down the center of your wick so it hits the bottom of the juice hole. The juice channel must be clear of wick material.
You can also twist top cover of the tank towards open position till you see air bubbles going in to the tank, close it, then twist it open again to get more airbubles. Its a pain the .... but better then priming.

Also try bridge wicking or some call it Navy Nest, it looks like a birds nest. This way you have double the wicking material and more juice, thus less chance of dry hits.

If you still having issue, then do what i did, and mod the bottom portion of the lower chimney that screws on to the deck. Do this on both sides.
I will be doubling the size of the juice holes next time i re-wick, to increase juice flow when its cold out side with Max VG juice.

Edit;

Almost forgot. Different length and diameter tips will also change level/% of flavor of the juice. A longer and narrower tip will give you a more concentrated flavor towards the taste buds that are designed to register specific flavors.

Short/stuby tips that are wide open, will spread out the vapor across all taste buds, thus you will taste less flavor. On cloud chasing RDAs that have giant wide open tips will improve flavor, because you getting far more volume from an RDA that is designed for cloud chasing at much higher wattage. But we are strictly speaking of Lemo here.

At the end of the day, IMHO, this tank wasnt designed for big coils and high wattage like an RDA. This is why i think you getting dry hits with your current coil. But you can make improvements as i have to work out the bugs, so it can handle bigger coils and more wattage. After all, vaping is a hobby.

I'm not actually having wicking trouble with this current build, but I have in the last couple builds I tried, wanting to use the max vg I have around for dripping.
I always leave the channels clear. I use one of my Orchid Allan keys to set in the channels when I tuck the wick, so I know they stay open. I've had a few stray bits find their way into the channels before I started plugging them when wicking.

You've suggested the top-twist method before, but I've found that floods my chamber even if I do it minimally. I'n much happier when it's just wicking properly.
My only issue these days seems to be with 80%+ VG, so I may have to enlarge the intake like you did. That's a good suggestion.
With higher PG, have you noticed any flooding at all?

No flooding issue with 50VG/50PG, but ive had leaking issues with 80/20PG. It comes down to how you wick it. And i have flooded it a few times by dry pulling/priming to hard with all air holes closed. Quickest way to clear flooding, is to crank the wattage to 40w and take a big inhale.

And the Bridge method, or Navy Nest, helps absorb the extra fluid to prevent Flooding.

Here you go:

That guy is a bit goofy but fun to watch. I'll give that a try on my subtank mini RBA this weekend.

Ok I got right on that when I got home. It worked like a charm!
This seems to be an easy way to thin the wick out. Now I wonder if I'm skilled enough to leave the top strands a bit longer and lay them over the top of the coil to reduce splatter.
This should be unstoppable on the Lemo.

Hey all! Does anyone know where to pick up one of those spare flat white o rings? The ones that seal the glass tank. Was inspecting mine when I realize they're starting to rip :(

Eleaf Lemo | Lemo Drop O-Ring Replacement by iSmoka - EVcigarettes.com

This is the only place I have found them. Kind of expensive at .99 each.
Next time I order o-rings, I'm going to try these:
    018 Buna-N Square O-rings - Tetraseals [SN70018] : O-Rings - The O-Ring Store, We make getting O-Rings easy!

Eleaf should offer replacement parts, like Kanger does.

I don't know why, but I don't like the silicone plug for the fill hole, not at all, always leaks on me. Anyone know the size of the fill hole screw?I'd like to buy a few stainless screws for it, but they're like $5 + $2.50 shipping on fleabay.

I thought it was the silicone plug that was causing my leaking...it turned out to be that I was placing to much e-liquid on my cotton wick. After 2 leaks and putting the right amount of e-liquid on the wick I have had no leaks using the silicone plug.

    Good Luck....Happy Vaping!!!

Received my Lemo Drop a couple days ago along with my iStick 50W device. The two are meant for each other. This is my first full size RTA and I'm thrilled with it. It leaked once due to over filling. Other than that, not one issue with it. The airflow is incredible. I have to close the adjuster all the way to get to my prefered draw, but I do like the occassional lung hit. Flavors are great with this thing. Even some that were so-so with my Aspire tanks. I'll be odering a couple more of these and probably a full size one too. Vape cheers!

Closing the adjuster all the way would shut off the airflow completely on mine. I like lots of airflow and have discarded my AFC ring. I do wish they had moved the fill port farther away from the juice channel.
If you like to change up the airflow frequently you might wait for the lemo 2.

Installed a 2 ohm oval coil tonight. I cut a pretty wide strip of shiseido and doubled in over for the wick. Cut it on each end, fluffed it, and glued the lower strands of cotton to the deck with juice when I soaked it. Crazy amounts of flavour as low as 11watts output from my iStick 30W.

If anyone is interested, I just picked up 3 drops at Ovale for $21.99 ea. They also have grooves machined into the top chimney cap, which makes it easier to remove. At first I thought they might be clones, but everything tells me they legit. Anybody else have the same grooves in the chimney cap?

It seems early release Lemo Drops did not have the knurling in the chimney cap, and that feature was added a little later in production.

That's a nice price for the Drop.

EDIT: That's an AWESOME price for the Lemo Drop. So good, in fact, it may be a misprint. The full size is listed $12 more. Get 'em while you can, I guess.
