You might want to take a close look at your center post, it sounds like you might have an obstruction of some type. (one of mine had burrs from the drilling process obstructing the small horizontal holes)

Both full size Lemos have tight draws when fully closed. I did just notice that there is a slight gap in the chimney sections on the Drop. Is this gap present on anyone elses? The black line is camera shadow.

No gap on either of mine. There's something wrong there.

This can happen...I screw the top metal part to the chimney then screw the top cap on...Gets rid of the gap and seals better.

Did you screw the two chimney sections together before putting on the top cap?

Yeah....I do mine the same way. Thread the chimney onto the deck, then thread the chimney top onto the chimney. And then the top cap goes on.

I also lube all of my rubber seals with fresh juice before screwing them together. Seems to help the rubber make a good contact without bunching up or damaging the seal.

Tonight, I tried a build in one of the Lemo's that I hadn't done before. I wish I would have taken a pic, because it turned out really pretty, but I was to lazy and just wanted to vape.

A 26ga, 3.0mm ID, spaced parallel coil. 5 wraps came to 0.4Ω and I've been running it at 30-35 Watts on my iPV Mini II.

It's a surprisingly smooth and warm vape with great flavor and vapor production. I think it's a keeper. :vapor:

Please excuse my following stupid question :) I accidentally unscrewed the bottom screw on my lemo (the one that connects to the block and ofc everything fell apart. In trying to put it back together, there's a plastic washer between the screw and the inside, one side of it is round and the other straight. Which side goes in which way? Damn that was a very poor job explaining!

Originally it goes round side up, but I've fliped mine for better contact with lower base.

Someone (I think in this thread?) mentioned they wrapped an oval (or elliptical) coil so I thought I'd try one too to address the excessive gunking I get with this tank. The idea was to keep as much of the coil directly in the path of airflow while maximizing the surface area and minimizing turbulence.

Not the prettiest coil I've ever wrapped but I have to say it vapes great at 30W, 1.3 ohms with 24 gauge, 11 wraps around two 3/32" drill bits. Not technically an "oval".... just "ovalish". :D I should probably remove a wrap or two, but maybe next time... Airflow/flavor both increased somewhat, but my main hope is it'll help reduce rewicking.

Lol I did that but with the coil oriented 90 degrees. I actually found that there wasn't an issue with gunking on the top side at all. At least nothing worse than the underside
