I just put one under the AFC ring for now. Nothing to remove but the bottom base section for that. For me, it seems if it moves that it unscrews, opening the air flow. So one on the bottom may be enough.

So far, so good.

I'm wondering about the silicone thingy for the filling port. Does it really work? Mine doesn't go in all the way, maybe should I thin the thing a little so that it plugs correctly?

Could someone post a picture with the silicon stopper on? I'd love to know how it sits on yours.

Mine fit about like you're describing, but they work perfectly! I haven't seen the first drop leak out yet, and that's even when they're not attached to my eVic

This build floods on me. It's not uncommon to have some juice ooze out of the airflow holes, but this is too much. Closed and opened the airflow, and whenever I set it onto it's side it floods. I have the KF do that to me once in a while, but not so often and not so much. I'll crack it open tomorrow and fill in with more filler.

Well, this is a bummer. Took my Lemo apart to re-wick it and a portion of the silicone seal on the bottom of the glass unattached itself. So, the Lemo is down for a few days. I was expecting a couple of replacement glass tubes in the mail today but USPS is up to their usual buffoonery and I likely won't see them until Monday. And, unless I'm an idiot (entirely possible, just ask my wife), I don't see any way to re-attach the seal.

Going back to my Nautilus tanks is a downer. The airflow on those things is terrible (I didn't know any better until using the Lemo). *sigh*

This happened to mine, and it just stuck it in the base of the atty, and have had 0 issues. No leaking and perfect vacuum.

Excellent. Thanks for the head's up. I didn't want to fill it and have it leak and have to drain it.

I'll give it a shot this evening. I'm leaving on a road trip in about two minutes and won't have time to mess with it until I get where I'm going.

Yes, they pop out sometimes. Just put it back and it'll be fine :). Happens on my aerotanks, too.

Got my extra glass tubes yesterday :)

Put a 4mm x 2mm o ring over the afc ring last night and that's working well to keep it from moving.

Just stick it back with a little superglue... No big deal

I don't think glue is required. They are a replaceable part I think? They just sit in the grooves of the top cap and base. If they come out with the glass, just pull them off (gently, don't stretch them) and put them back :)

Correct, I would not use glue where you juice will be too, it is normal for it to come off, it just seals the tank when screwed together, I took mine off completely when 1st got it and cleaned everything, then just sat it back in the channel before putting glass tank on, the fogger uses the same idea too, and got 3 of them, so use to that way of sealing the tank.

Can you post a pic of the o rings in place please? I've got one of these coming and would like to be prepared. Thanks!

The tank gaskets are meant to come off. If they stick to the glass when diassembling, remove them and place them back into the grooves in the base and top cap. Lubing them with a little e-liquid wouldn't be a bad idea.

There are spare tank seals included with the kit. I would doubt replacement glass tubes would come with these

I did as well, removed them for my initial cleaning.

I'm on an el cheapo tablet right now and can't post pics yet. I think you'll find it obvious though how they fit :). If you have an aerotank or protank, its the same.

My black lemo came in today and decided to try out the spring mod for the afc ring. Most of my springs are too small but I found a spring from a broken led flashlight.

Spring moves freely and does not get caught on the threads.

After some tweaking and cutting, this is what I ended up with. Just enough coil and tension to hold that afc ring in place.

So far its working great! it definitely holds that ring in place. I turned the afc ring all the way down and I would say in a scale of 1-10, 10 being wide open I would rate it a 5.

Looks good, I messed with mine today, but nothing really worked very well, when tired o-rings, it either did nothing or it blocked the air flow altogether, looked for a spring, but got nothing at home, planning to go out tomorrow, so going to see if can find a spring at ACE hardware.

Yep, that works. It's sitting snugly in the base of the atty now - no leaks, great vacuum. I just assumed it was part of the glass tube. It obviously just stuck on there when I disassembled the first couple of times. Of course, now that I've filled the tank, I think I over wicked, lol.
