Also with it being $15 for an enormous box I just couldn't bring myself to buy it just to try it out. I need to either find a smaller pack or see if someone local can give me a little strip of it

PM me your address. I'll put some in an envelope and send it to you. I have three pounds of it... I can probably spare a little.

I only had time to read 1/2 of the 35 pages. So sorry if this had been brought up.

But my Lemo leaks when it is over 1/2 way full, standing up right. Also leaks all the time if left laying on its side. I emailed the EBay seller about it and they are WORTHLESS. I have rebuilt it several time with more cotton, then less, still leaks.

Any ideas.

Can you post a pic of your build with wick, give people more idea of what your doing.

I've wicked the lemo 2 ways, left the cotton long, put on top part of the chimney, cut the cotton level with top of the chimney and then lightly tuck down on the deck, then the other way is just cut the wick short and just lay on the deck next to the channels, both ways have worked for me with no leaking, but it seems to wick a little better on my 2nd method, my wick is probably no longer than 3/8ths in total.

There may be a vacuum leak due to a broken or missing seal. One of my Lemos did not come with an o-ring pre-installed on the top chimney section where it threads into the top cap. If it's missing, there is a spare included with the kit.

Also inspect to make sure the tank gaskets aren't damaged and missing. I think its best to seat the gaskets in the top cap and base when assembling, instead of leaving them stuck to the glass like they sometimes are. Wouldn't hurt to have a look at the Pyrex tube to make sure there aren't any chips in the edges that could cause a leak.

Ok, I'm really interested in the Lemo, but anybody have an Orchid that would, be kind enough to, enlighten me with a comparison? Specifically for use with a Sigelei 100 watt. I am more of a vapor chaser than flavor chaser, so would like to know which has more airflow, and would be able to handle 40-50 watts. I'm leaning towards the Lemo, seeing as the quality seems to be top notch and has more capacity when compared to an Orchid V4 clone. Also, thinking the single coil setup with large deck will be more suitable, as I bought a fogger v4 and could not get a satisfactory build and traded it to a friend. But the Orchid V4 seems to be much easier to build on than the Fogger, with positive t-post and larger deck.

Mainly the airflow and use at higher watts are my driving factor. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts and experience.

I've been able to go up to 30-35 watts when wicked properly but I haven't built lower than about 1 ohm just because I don't have any kanthol thicker than 26g. I also don't own an Orchid but I saw someone on this forum saying they own both and the Lemo has more airflow. I do like it a lot though. So much vapor for a tank it's ridiculous.

Also, I just built a 1.1 ohm coil with 12 wraps of 26g on a 3/32" drill bit and man this is fantastic. I was even able to get it into the base holes instead of holding it with the screws. I found the trick was to get the tails into the holes with the coil pretty high up and then pull the leads with pliers while keeping the bit inside the coil to keep it in shape.

I was too excited to try it and forgot to take a pic but maybe next time I rewick it I will.

I have two Lemos and just purchased a Tobeco Orchid V2 to play with. The Lemo has the larger airflow.

Just for fun, I just cranked one of Lemos up to 50 Watts which is the most I have available on my T5. No burning even after a few draws. That's going to greatly depend on the build you have in it. In this case, I have a huge 24ga coil clocking in at 1.1Ω. For a single coil, I think the Lemo is the easy winner.

Personally, I think they are both great tanks with great flavor, but they are difficult to directly compare because they are so different. A V2 Orchid clone can be had for less then $10.

    I say, have both!

Just got my Lemo in today and just want to type a few quick things. First, an impressive bunch of spare parts included. Only topper I've ever bought with wire and cotton included. DIRECTIONS!!! I'm really impressed. I could have really used these when I started. If it wasn't for the kind folks on this board sharing their knowledge I would still be using cartos (G). Adjusted the air draw, took a couple of pulls. Hardly any oil taste! Not like some toppers that the manufacturing oil seemed to be dripping off of. Included coil and wick pre-installed and very nicely done! I'll do my own a little later. Overall I am impressed by the "class act" of this topper, and for less than forty bucks!! Those other manufacturers should wake up and take a good look at what these folks are putting out!!!

addition: recoiled and rewicked. 1.8ohm coil with Japanese cotton on a Provari. Excellent wicking, excellent draw (adjusted all the way down), no leaks. As mentioned nice big work area, only caveat is really small screws (G). My Kayfun clone is back in its box, and relegated to the "spares" box!!

I don't know if you mentioned it, but what gauge wire are you using?

If this is your first time coiling, just throw it on there!! It doesn't have to look pretty, it just has to work.I find it easiest to keep the coil on the drill bit (or whatever you're wrapping around) and go ahead and trap the leads. Pull it a few mm off the deck, pull the drill bit out and fire your coil a few times. Then fire again and right after you let go of the fire button squeeze the coils together and hold for few seconds..

This can make ugly coils pretty. haha. Hope you get a successful build going soon.

Ok after sleeping I gave it another go. I started over this time I used a longer piece of wire for easy grip. I'm using 28ga wire, it seemed like what most people recommended. I wrapped it around my fingers and pulled as hard as I could when wrapping. I made sure to have the wraps touching but not overlapping. I wrapped 8 times. I pinned down the tails under the screws not the holes. I clipped off the excess wire and dry fired it, and squeezed the coils together. It looks better than my first attempt but I still can't get the wraps to perfectly stay touching. It came out to an even 1ohm I was shooting for 1-1.5. I wicked it with Japanese cotton. I cut the cotton so it would barely touch the build deck when pushed down. I lubed it up put everything together filled it with grandmaster. mmm banana. It tasted good, but it started backfiring. I need a muffler. It sounds like a can of biscuits popping open every few drags. Also the juice leaks out the air holes specially when I lay my device on it's side. I know all the seals are in place and fine, and I know the glass is not chipped. I don't know why it's leaking or why it's popping so loudly.

Posting some pics, maybe in stages would really help diagnose what's going on. It sounds like you are UNDER wicked though. My first couple of builds were in the Kayfun style wick just touching the deck. Leaked like a sieve. I use a ton of wick now. I need to re build shortly and will take some pics and post.

I don't have the means for taking pictures for you guys. I was following Candi's kayfun build mine looked very close to hers. [vape] How To: Easy Kayfun Build Tutorial w/ Organic Cotton - YouTube

No worries bob, Kayfun's and Lemo's are different animals, sort of. Give me 15 minutes or so, I just killed my coil re wicking it, so I need to start a fresh build and I will post pics for you...thanks for your patience. Once you figure it out, you'll be a happy vaper...

By the way, which part of Texas bro?
