^i would try using 28 gauge. Maybe 8 wraps around 3/32 bit. It's a mighty fine atty.

I got mine ( lemo drop silver) and been trying to build a coil for days.....just not any good at it.....terrible in fact. 30 g kanthal around a 1/8 bit and I'm at 3.8 ohms....another at 4.0. I'm all thumbs at this and figure that I may have to just stick to my Protanks......
I bought premade 1.8 for them from. fast---- and just replace wick with cotton.....that I can work with.....this thing not so much.
Anybody want it?....pm me
5.5 volts is as high as the istick will go with it on there......
really lost interest after 5 tries, I have very little patience with something that I have to fiddle with![]()

Well back to my CLT until I break open my boxes full of accessories. My negative post hole threading was apparently stripped, not even hand tight on my new 26 gauge build and I felt the resistance open wide up and thought "crap..." yep, screw is absolutely fine, however neither the original or the replacement that came with the Lemo will tighten down....damn shame really cause I did enjoy that guy. Hopefully one of the other screws I have will survive in it or I get another Lemo after the Christmas bills are caught up and hope this one is threaded a little better.
I'd try contacting Eleaf iSmoka/Eleaf electronic cigarette
They may send you a new base.
Worth a try...
If I remember right (I didn't use the stock coil long) mine metered out to 1.12 ohm and it was 26 gauge kanthal and around 3/32" for diameter. Probably the best looking coil I've ever seen come out of a factory though.
I'm curious to know if there are any tips or tricks for making the bends of the coil legs for getting them aligned nicely to pass through the holes on the Lemo. (wow, that sure is a run on sentence..-- sorry) I've been using the coil that came with the device (measured at 1.4Ω)and now I'd like to make new coil. In the past I've wrapped the legs around the deck screws on the Kayfun but thought it would be a change to give the through hole method a go on the Lemo. I must admit I'm impressed with the coil that came with the Lemo -- it looks very well made.
Not looking to make a jig or anything complicated -- I'd just like to know if there is some way to figure how to make the 90° bends. I do have tiny needle nose pliers I think would work.
I'm really impressed with the Lemo after using it for a week now. Love the larger capacity but I am a little leery of the glass tube. Think it would be a good idea to get some replacements.
Any suggestions? I'd be appreciative of any help and hints. I also tried to find the link for the site that had the great price on glass tubes -- can I throw that in with my request for help? TIA .....
