Evening Lurkers:wub:
It's super quiet around here today.
We've been out & about today. We finally made it to Target & Babies R Us to get the baby registry started.
That was super stressful. Ugh! I hate shopping...all that stuff...and those price tags:shock::shock:

Well I hope everyone has had a quiet & restful weekend.
I'm putting my feet up for a lil bit:)

Hi Chim  Yep, a fairly normal Sunday around here :)

Did you see anything fun while you were out? Get any ideas for the boys? :?:

    Hey MD:wub:
    How are you this evening?
What gave you been up to today?

We got a couple of ideas. But it's kinda overwhelming at the same time.
I think it's just seeing all of the big items & knowing we need 2 of them:blink:
So we left a lot of the little stuff off & made sure that we made gift cards an option.
I mean $200+ for the double stroller plus $150+ for each infant car seat & then the same or more for the bigger car seats:shock:
Don't even get me started on 2 cribs etc...I'm tired just thinking about it.

Aw {{{hugs}}} Maybe you could start off with just one crib for the both of them?
I certainly don't know anything about double strollers  The few I've had were just the little cheapo's from WM.

Babies are terribly expensive tho' :( Take heart, boys are cheaper than girls to raise ;)

As for me, I've been a bit depressed today. You know.

We might but we put both on there since we both have an aunt that might each get one but they don't live here so they want to see the registry.
The stroller is pretty much one of the cheaper ones but it's since its a double.
I'm sure it'll all work out thanks to family & friends but that was the first time we've actually spent the day looking at pretty much everything.

Yes they are! Unless they get older & want those ridiculously expensive tennis shoes that neither reggie nor I will ever buy:laugh:

I know. I wish there was something I could do or say to cheer you up:(

There's not, I just hate to say "fine" when it's not true ;)

Oh yeah, my kids thought they were denied everything nice
Doesn't matter what you do at that age it's never enough

I will admit we didn't have much when the kids were young :( I stayed home with them you know and we were a one income family ... it was hard.

You may be surprised at what all you won't need to buy having such large families ;)

I know what you mean. We're a lot alike on that but you don't really have to say anything. I know it's not easy what you're going through.
Just know that you've got tons of love and support flowing to you from all of the people who know you including myself:)

We've talked about it & I'm feeling better about it.
I think we'll be ok. It's just finally seeing it and doing the math in your head.

Plus I've been trying to come up with a kinda present for reggie. I think I've got it though. He's a watch lover so I think I'm going to get him a new one engraved with the boys names on it. Seeing what my sisters have gone through with my nieces and newphew fathers I know I'm really lucky that he's so supportive. Plus pregnancy seems to be all about the woman so I think he'll really appreciate it.

Speaking of the devil...bbiaf...he needs help with something lol

Thank you, I do depend on you guys for someone to talk to :)

Don't worry too much about the expenses, we all manage somehow ;)

Oh!! Does he have a nice watch box? Probably already does huh?

    Evening all. :)

Well, I tried to nap. I may have dozed, but nothing close to a nap. :(
I still have my cold, and still feel like crappola. Day five. I opened my third box of tissues this morning.

Chim, I would be overwhelmed with all of that as well. I'm sure, like you said, friends and family will get lots of things you'll need. If I remember correctly, you think you'll have at least two showers, right?? One with family, and one with the people from work??
That's a neat idea for Reggie!! I love that!!

Dale, (((HUGS))) like Chim said, lots of good thoughts and prayers going up for you!!

Well, I'm off for my bath. ;)

Yeah, I'm working tmr too but it doesn't take me no time to prepare my bag :)

Did ya'll know Kelli finally got herself "moved on" :(

It doesn't take me too long either, but I am going to figure out something to take for lunch too.

    No!! When did that happen??

Oh ... and I'm going back to mom & dad's Tuesday to stay with her while dad goes to the doctor, she can't stay alone anymore. :(

Can't remember if I already told you or not
    You did. :)

Well, DH just came up from the basement, so I need to hop off here, then get my bath.
I'll try to pop back in before bedtime. ;)
