I don't know whats going on with that. I am not making a dime off this. I have never sold a tank, I have given away quite a few. Another vendor is selling the exact one I make for myself(and the ones I give away) they gave me a kudos on their site, but I never knew they had plans to use it until after they had posted a thread about the tanks being up for sale giving design credit out. They used the build a long thread I posted elsewhere for their shopping list. Not what I intended when I posted it, but no big deal either.

What about all the tanks everyone else is selling? Do you claim them too? Are you the tankmaster now? I think you'll find if you look at the tank Mike is making the only similarity to yours is it holds juice. I bet it doesn't even hold the same amount. I think with all the different tanks out there your deceiving yourself if you think they all copied yours. I have built a bunchy of them and until this never heard of your tank.

NO, Unlike Buzz claiming all VV devices,,, I only lay claim to the one I made. now owned by someone else.

Well either your vison needs checked or you have another version of your tank you haven't posted. I'd like to see this anodized aluminum tank with locking screw you made. Will you show it to us?

The difference is Mike did make variable vcoltage first, was smart enough to patent it and you made a tank that every joe blow on ECF has done but I* don't hear them squawking about being ripped off.

NO ! Read the threads. I will not debate something with you that is well known by the one selling it.

The fact of the matter is you've got no claim on this design, and if some hapless vendor paid you for it to keep you from whining then they're naive. The FIRST carto tank was made by Imeo, the AFS, and everything else is a copy of THAT. Did you ask Imeo's permission?

I know you're going to turn this into some big thing, like you did on Grimm's Liquinator youtube vid comments, but I'm personally done with you. This is the only comment you'll ever get out of me about it. If you want to talk about 'Your' design, then design something original. All Verm, YZR, and I (and mostly Verm) did was take the existing tank designs and strip them down to the bare bones and make them accessible. Mike kinda built them back up a bit, switching out the Grommet that we were using with a anodized aluminum cap, but in the end he did work from designs that Verm gave him, not you.

Basically, you're upset because you WEREN'T able to cash in on your unoriginal design. All I've got to say about that is Wah.
If your talking about me, No I'm not mad about any money. I got paid for the design.
but when 4 people were negotiating to buy something and when it does sell to someone else, then one of the potential buyers starts making it anyway after saying he wouldn't well sir that is all about ethics,,,, not money.

That's just what I was thinking. What he's trying to say is just like Henry Ford stating every car made after his was a copy of his Ford.

The AFS, The Ego tank, The......on and on.

Good idea.
So how about this gets back on track and the folks who have them post some feedback and any ideas they would care to share on them.

I somehow managed to crack the Poly tube already. Not entirely sure how I did it, I've never cracked the poly on any of my other tanks... Who knows? I'm a disaster area, so I'm sure it's due to user error, not a product flaw. I'll probably end up cutting my own tube to use until I can get a replacement from Mike (with that new, bigger hole. I hate filling with syringes anyways).

That's somthing I was wondering about. How thick is the tube on the M1A1?

#1, Mike, I think it's time to ban Gummy from the Subforum. He's obviously got nothing constructive to add, just dung to spread.

#2, Not sure what the exact thickness of the tube is... Lemme think... I'm terrible at math, but I believe it's 5/8" ID, 3/4" OD.

Thank you that would mean it is a 16th" thick like the Map is. Some of them are using the thinner tank and I don't like them.

1/8" would be the thickness.
Verm it's a 16th" on both sides. Adss up to 1/8th".
