Is the screw treaded into the Lexan tank? What I'm wondering is if it will strip out the tank? Oh it sounds like the screw is also plastic of some sort. I guess when I see one I'll know.

Might work well, could be a pita to fab, need glue that is ok with eliquid, food safe.
Interesting to do a random test, how many cycles of unscrewing and screwing before the threading is toast. How many cycles should it hold up for?

It is plastic on plastic the screw will give out first it is softer ! and they are cheap and easy to replace .
If the nut was on the outside of the tank the juice wouldn't come into contact with the adhesive.

BTW I will be sending an EXTRA screw and 2 o-rings per order , these will be part of the Tank when purchased

I got 2 extra internal o-rings and an extra screw.... humm... why is it that every time I talk about the tank I say naughty stuff??
If you tighten the screw too much it will lift the cap on the screw side a little bit. this could cause issues with use so keep an eye on that.
I noticed the same exact thing. It lifts it up about a mm on the screw side. Not sure if it is a tighten thing though. I notice it as soon as I put the screw in. The hole is a tad too high up on the tank perhaps?
It pushes against the carto forcing it off center a mite. You loosen the screw a tiny bit and push the cap down and it squares. The details are important. lol
I did mention fused quartz.

Err...I mean the tank looks great so far!LOL it took a lot of effort to keep it clean in the vid I had to do like 10 takes of that vid because I kept saying things like:
"I just squirt my juice in the hole with the syringe" and
"I pulled out the screw from the juice hole"
I should have done an outtake vid lol. After I started reviewing the videos I kept saying "omg I can't say that...." lol
