I'll not spike one vendors post by naming another vendor, but there is already a pyrex tube on the market.

I'd also like to ask the question that nobody seemed interested in answering on another post -

Isn't there a lot of debate on the safety of using aluminum in direct contact with e-juice?
Its anodized thus the aluminum will never touch the juice ;)

Can you PM me the link you mentioned. Like to see for curiosity sake

Ya we anodize the aluminum , it is a very good insulator against corrosive agents ( like Ejuice , go figure ! ) I would like to see the pyrex ones also !

Mike vapor age offers the pyrex option on the torpedos. Makes me wonder how close the diameters are in comparison. Not sure who they have manufacturing the pyrex for them.

Got my prototype M1A1 this morning. My tube mod I tried didn't seal up well. I could probably make it work but it would be more effort than it's worth (in the long term). I took a metal tube from a reg. length CE2 and cut a base piece and top piece to mod a clearo into a steel. It fits good but the bottom tube piece didn't seal up well enough. The upside is that the tank itself didn't leak. I filled it with approx. 4ml of water to test it. Once I get some steel XL CE2's I'll be able to test it better (I need to buy more CE2's anyway.)

I'm wondering the same thing. Of course, it's nice to see your liquid level. But if we can keep up with refilling and topping off cartos constantly, we should be able to handle a tank we can't see through, don'tcha think?

"hand made", "advance user option", "no warranty", "variances due to the nature of the glass work". It sounds like they aren't sure how well the pyrex will do, just willing to offer them if someone wants to try them. It does sound like a pain to make.

Why not just make them out of SS? Something like: Amazon.com: Stainless T-304 Seamless Tube 0.75" x 0.065" x 0.62" Cut to 24": Industrial & Scientific I know there must be some obvious reason.

Let us know how it works out Mod !

IMO, being able to see the juice is a big factor. Part of the logic behind a carto lasting longer is it never gets
dry enough to burn.

Another site sells carto tanks with SS ends, and I have read a few comments where users said they where
too heavy. I saw another post where a user put SS tubing with the SS ends. I can't imagine how heavy
that was.

They're always heating the required amount of juice which is cool. It makes you think back at how much juice you used before you started using a tank.

Yeah the SS ends are way too heavy. Super glad Mike is doing aluminum. Tubing is probably fairly light in itself though.
