I get paid on Thursday so I'll be stocking up CE2's and grabbing some Powerizer batts (money is a bit tight right now). After that I'll be able to put the tank thru it's paces.

Good choice... you are going to love the powerizer's. I like them so much I keep thinking I should buy a few more, but then I think why... the reason I like them is because I dont need a few more!

Are we back to our happy spot now

Anodized?? What does that mean?
Isn't there a concern with juice being in direct contact with aluminum?

I've always said, it's far better to be a smart ... than a dumb ....

Mist it is a chemical process that creates a layer of aluminum oxide so to speak , this explains it better

What is Anodizing?

Anodized Aluminum:

Protects satellites from the harsh environment of space.
Used in one of the world's tallest buildings --- the Sears Tower in Chicago, Illinois.
Provides attractive, minimum-maintenance, highly durable exteriors, roofs, curtain walls, ceilings, floors, escalators, lobbies and staircases in skyscrapers and commercial buildings throughout the world.
Revolutionized the construction of computer hardware, exhibit displays for trade shows, scientific instruments, and a constantly expanding array of home appliances, consumer products, and building materials.
Considered environmentally safe, producing few, if any, harmful effects on land, air, or water.

I'm actually settling in, learning to have fun on here WITHOUT being the jerk that I was my first go round. It gets a little difficult when I'm flipping back and forth between ECF and Viper's Forum, having to remember to keep myself in check, but all in all... Not bad. Not bad at all.
ROFLMAO!!!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Boy, Lodzin, its nice when you're not the gadfly, huh?!?!??!

I was demonstrating being a dumb ... while simultaneously being a smart .... I'm pretty talented, no?

I just ignored the drama talk. The end of he story should be "sorry, you don't have a patent". I've seen BS like that from this guy on other forums and didn't agree, but arguing about it is really a waste of time. People have their ideas an sent going to change. *shrugs*

Anyway, the tank is still going strong ;)

A few thoughts I just had (yea dangerous I know ;) )

How about making the tank thicker and then making a recessed part for the screw to make it less likely to snag on something?

We are looking at making it thicker ? not sure yet , the screw can be a small screwdriver type head , these are a thumb screw type screw

I don't know about anyone else, but I hate taking around tools for my PV. How about keeping the thumb screw and just drilling a small recess to have some of the screw screw all the way into it. That way it doesn't become as much of a catch for pockets etc, yet still has enough give for someone to unscrew by hand. Also maybe find a screw that has the screwdriver bit inside the groves part to keep I flush. To do this you may need to make the tank walls thicker against cracking at the screw point.

Just a thought, and yes you can use my idea without me trolling you ;) I won't ask for any cash compensation ;)
