My thought is that you could put a flat head screw in the threaded hole to secure the tank , and use Verms way to fill ??

this may be getting to complicated in the long run ? If I get to many variations it becomes a time consuming thing and that drives up costs so ???
I personally like the current design. It's not that difficult to put a flat head screw in place of the thumb screw or even find a small rubber plug to fit there.

That sounds good. I look forward to what you and Vermonster came up with I was just throwing out a few thoughts.

For your success you need to keep them cheap to build and make them as simple to use and as "idiot proof" as possible. You need to make them to appeal to the masses rather than appeal to those of us who are capable of making our own.

I think inexpensive, durable, secure from easy slippage and quick and easy to refill and you've got a real winner on your hands. :)

Not to be to negative........But,ya know it's not rocket science. Verm (and others) had the basic's months ago. To many Indians and seems no Chief. It's a tank for for gods sake, I can build one in two minutes. (for myself) just do it if your going to at a competitive price and it will sell. I'm sure other venders will or are coming out with there latest and greatest tanks as I'm typing this.

Not to be rude but ... I can build a tank in two minutes myself. However, apparently you don't realize that there is far more involved when you run a real company, have employees, contract out machining and want to produce a quality reasonably problem free product that your customers are happy with.

Make no mistake about it - Mike is the "Chief", he is a savvy business man and product manufacturer who looks for input form customers and friends, looks at the options and has discussions with his parts suppliers and machinists and then produces prototypes for testing. This is unlike many other vendors out there who are content to sell whatever they can and let there customers bear the cost and risk of testing and then they say oops! well we'll sell you an even better one next time.

Mike makes a quality product that he stands behind and he won't put it on the market until he has some confidence that it will work as intended with few problems and that his customers will be happy with it.

I kind of like the idea that Mike wants our input and wants to build a tank the way we want it.
