Oh that sounds great! How bout the length? Sounds .... retentive but my girlfriend doesn't want anything much bigger than a real eGo. I just ordered a Provari, but she doesn't want any part of it cuz of its size.

Also, that's the fastest I've ever had a question answered on here. I posted that question 2 minutes ago.

Dalton, if this helps you decide, I just got mine, got one of each, and being a 59 year old female with a little arthritis in both hands, I too did not want a unit that feels like a piece of "lead pipe" in my hands and I like a soft button.

I just love these, only had them about 45 minutes but long enough to like the feel so much that I just ordered two more, one of each, for hubby... he carries his PV in his shirt pocket where he always kept his cigs, and he really like the feel of these plus the battery simplicy and life will make things so much easier for him.

Hope this info helps....

Hey all ECF'ers, this was just a tiny little glitch in order, but taken care of so quickly and with such grace that I know these will be great people to deal with in the future !

Most people have two preferred voltages they tend to use. I considered the 3.7 and 5V the most common ones nut it can change if the demand will dictate this. The VV is to some extent an want then a need so we will see how things go.
Well you gotta be careful with that assumption. 5V may seem popular because until just recently folks used fixed 5V regulators. The same with the so called 5V PT's. Because some retailer calls a USB cable with a switch and a connector '5V' doesn't make it so. You understand that no computer port or 2000mAh adapter can get a Joye atty even close to 5V.

And now that you've let the Genie outta the bottle with your love and endorsement of dual coils, you're gonna need one heck of a regulator.

Good Luck.

Agreed...I would say the MOST popular voltage is more along the lines of 4.4-4.6v. Myself 5v is hot, and makes several liquids taste burnt.

What would be the possibility of getting these in custom finishes?
I'm Thinking gunmetal or black chrome would look awesome with a silver logo. I know this would up the cost and turnaround but might be something worth offering different finishes. I guess it mostly depends on your manufacturing proses.
I would gladly pay $5 to $10 more for a really nice finish of my choosing.:2c: and I am not saying anything against the current look...
Of course if I buy another PV anytime soon my wife might lynch me =]

I was already thinking of looking into getting a Hematite cover for my ego but it's pretty brittle stuff.

Romaniac,

Just received my package and I can already tell I am going to love these, they have a great feel and both are working well. I just love the balance and the button is good and soft, which I like a lot with this stiffness in my hands.

I am going to note the battery duration starting at 3pm... I have poker tourney tonight and that's always before been a 3 Ego Battery event vaping hard, or a passthrough hooked to a power pack in pocket with cord run up under blouse and PV hanging out the neck, but tonight I can wear my bling and not have to worry about it tangling on the cord.

Thanks for making such a classy unit and for the super fast shipping !

Okay, for those who might be interested, I just ran down the first battery in the 18650 model, started yesterday at 3pm and had to change batts at 4:30pm today, after a heavy night last night at poker and a heavy day today . Using a 510LR atty for now and love that battery duration. And mine are NOT 3000 mAh like I thought, but just 2600 and still a whole day and more. This was a used battery too, just inserted a fully charged new one, so it might even last longer.

Dripping on this atty and no leakage to the outside (and I have to say I am sometimes guilty of a little overfill, but when I take off the cone, any leakage is actually pooled right there and does not leak through). I am impressed. Hubby is liking the 14500 model too.

Looking forward to receiving my next order so I can try the Mega cartos. My daughter uses those and loves them.

Received my second order yesterday and still very pleased with both units. And love the Mega cartos, they seem to be needing topping off very seldom.

My battery life is amazing, with the 14500 unit, hubby is getting nearly a day, with the 18650 I am getting over a day and that's with 2600 mAh, next time I order batts will get some 3000 mAh but can't complain about these as is.

I hope you have great success with these and that others give them a try.

I am liking the fact that these cut out below about 3.6V. My unprotected batteries are semi Protected. I don't have to worry about over discharging the batteries.

I will add that I do not recommend using unprotected cells in any way. However if you are using them this thing is as close as you can get to safe without specialized circuitry. Again it is not recommended to use unprotected cells!!!

Both my 18650 and 14500 have been working flawlessly all week.

Don't make the mistake of buying this, especially if you like LR.
