I'm running into some trouble with my unit. I can't seem to get a good connection with any of my batteries. The spring on the bottom seems to move either to far to the side or get stuck down so by battery isnt popping up enough to make a connection. When I do get a battery to connect, the unit tells me it is dead about half the time. I'm only getting about 2 hours before it tell me they are dead. I do chain vape, but I usually can get about 4 hours with my Trustfire 14500's. I know my some of my batteries are not dead when I put them in, they were charged yesterday. Any fixes or anything, or did I get a defective unit?

Try pulling the spring out and stretching it a bit. This will probably fix your issues.

Nope theres something wrong. I fixed the spring and now it blink to confirm its connected, then blinks with a cartomizer to tell me its dead. Tried 3 fully charged batteries on it. It you can tell me how to open the switch and fix it I can do it, but if you dont know whats wrong whats the rule on warrenties?

Edit: Just got it to work. Had to screw and unscrew it a couple times. I still am curious as to why it can't seem to just take a battery and work.

I haven't had any issues like that. The closest I had was that the spring wasn't quite long enough and gave me symptoms similar to what you are describing because the battery wasn't being pushed up tight enough to the positive terminal.

I saw that once on my 14500. It was from juice in the connector. Cleaned it out made sure the spring wsa right and havent had a problem since.

It worked. Then I took of the carto, refilled it, put it back on, nothing. I cleaned all the connection, adjusted the battery a couple more times, nothing. Took out the spring, adjusted the battery a little more now its working. A little rediculous.

If you truly think the switch is the issue contact Romaniac and see what he can do for you. It could happen. There is no such thing as a perfect product. Somebody is going to get a bad apple... =] You just get very disappointed if it's you that gets it... =[ So far this company has been a pleasure to work with so I am confident you will be able to get your issue resolved.

Edit: I just re-read your posts and I think your issue may be two fold with the spring. When you re-seat the spring you need to get it down into the smaller cup like part at the very bottom of the tube. I had some difficulty doing this as it is at the bottom of the tube. When it is sitting up on the lip of that cup it does seem to tilt off center making it come into contact with the heat shrink that wraps around the bottom of the battery. Once you get it set all the way down in the bottom of the tube you may find that the spring is not quite long enough to make a solid contact as it was sized to also accommodate a slightly longer 14650. This is where I had to stretch the spring to make a lot more solid connection.

I did fuigure it out. Sorry for posting my frustrations, but I did truly think I had gotten a defective unit. The spring was not rounded at the top, part of it was elevated. Whenever the Noego got bumped it would get off center and stop making connection. I mad it flat so it wouldnt slip when the battery is pushed against it. No more problems. Sorry I acted a little braty there, it just sucks to get a new unit and have it not work. It is working great now however, and I love it. This thing is beautiful. I can't wait to get my hands on some 14650 and some more dual coils. Great mod, and thanks for being patient with me.

I agree. I eagerly await the VV version. I would love a Voltage indicator built in, I know that would probably jack up the price a lot, but it be great. Either way I intend to get one.

Yes, 18650 VV with build in voltage idicator, running triple coil cartos. Thats what I´m waiting for. Hope there is an update soon about the VV.

Finally, the batteries came and got to try this out. Looks real nice, and hits good. Ended up using a 2Ω Boge carto, did not really care for the DC carto, just wish Boge made an XL carto. One problem tho, and don't know yet if it's the pv or battery problem, not sure yet what's going on. I bought two 3000mah UltraFires. Loaded one yesterday afternoon, by early evening it was dead, took it out and it checked about 1.2v on the MM. Put it on the charger this morning, and it wouldn't charge, the charger light stayed green. Checked again on the MM and it read about 2.2v. Anyway, trying the second battery to see how it goes. Hopefully I just got a bad battery.

So anyway, how's it coming with that vv switch? Really anxious to hear about the progress on that.

If the battery was protected, it's internal PCB should NEVER have let it get to 1.2v. In fact I think they are supposed to kick in at 3.2. In any case 1.2v is low enough to have damaged the battery. Anything below 2.5v is very bad.

Ok, I'm gonna ask this question, since I'm an electrical dummy, and can't figure much out concerning electrical things. I bought the Ultra Fire BRC 18650 3000mah batteries for the 18650 3.7v. When available, I intend to make this a vv with the switch. What batteries would you want to go with for the vv set-up. I know which brand is considered better, so that part of it isn't a problem. All the talk of high drain, IMR's, ect., this ole brain just won't wrap around. So which battery, or type, is going to work best. Thanks for your assistance.

So I found out something weird. 90% of the time if I put on a dual coil or my LR atty the button blinks like its dead, and then I have to unscrew the battery, screw it back in and try again. BUT... If I have a 510 extender on the there, they work 100% of the time. Why is that?

I had something similar happen recently and it turned out to be that the center contact on my cartomizer was sunk in too far. I used a pick to pull it out a bit and worked just fine after.
