im putting the ravens through the ringer, just wait till you see it, its better then ever, vaping back to back for 20 minutes straight, holy cow im nic rippppppppppppped.

RAVENS NEVERMORE

i will show the progression, and its totaly revamped, the tank is the same .... the carto is different and even fits tighter now, but its been revamped, the hole is different once again and also switched as to what side the main hole is, also the inner tube is gone and not needed, making cleaning a breeze and it has not flooded, leaked, gurgled, using pg, pgvg and even vg. bubble come up properly and it hits at amhy voltages and was changed specifically to do so. I thought the original ones you all never got to see was working well and this is better then that, even the bottom pin is all new. Im more then impressed.

Eagerly waiting on the video.

Just ordered a box of these, looking forward to trying them out -- they look amazing, and also very affordable. One question, in the description it says poly plastic, would that be the same as polyethylene? This is one of the materials that can handle juices that crack other tanks, is that correct? If that's the case, and these work as awesomely as expected, I do foresee a fair deal of more boxes being purchased from me!

I had occasion to clean one of the XLs I got last week. On closer examination it appears to be the new version with the taller base. To be honest, it didn't need cleaning at all, it just got mixed in with my other CE3s that did need cleaning. I any event, after dis-assembling nine CE3s and the XL and cleaning them wholesale I sat down to put them together and noticed that the air tube for the XL was shorter than the CE3 air tube while the outer barrel is the same length. Given that there is some blank space between the inner seal and mouthpiece of both, I installed a spare air tube from a CE3 onto the XL to gain the added liquid capacity. I did have to trim about a sixteenth off the mouthpiece so it fit properly, but it works like a champ! No leaks, great vapor and flavor and the normal CE3 capacity all on the new base (at least I think its the new base.)

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it, your results and mileage may vary, no warrantee or guarantee is expressed or implied.

That's good to hear! Were you able to stick enough of the cap in so it doesn't fall out?

The easiest way to tell if it's an origional Phoenix XL (808) or a Reborn (808) is to look at the hole on the connector side. The hole is much smaller on the Reborn's and there are 4 air slots along the outter edge on the origional and 2 on the Reborn. With these I don't get condensation from vapor on the battery terminal like I did with the origionals. The one on the right is the new Reborn

This shows the extra length in the base...

Haven't tried it but you could probably not push the tube on as far to avaoid trimming your tips. The base is plenty long and the seal is pretty high up. I doubt very much that there would be any leakage, but it would look a bit funky at the base. Not that they are the prettiest things to look at anyway.

I thought about that, then thought better of it. With my luck it'd pop off at the worst possible moment and I'd end up wasting liquid.

Based on your photos, it is definitely a Reborn. I was able to get enough of the tip in to keep it in by trimming just a little off using a razor blade. I'll take a photo of it next to an unmodified one a little later today and get it up here.

You must of trimmed the rubber tip that comes with the pack of PBC's??

I use the flat style tip. They have some ribs on them, then a little flange at the top. I just trimmed off to the first "rib", maybe 1/16" if that much. I just went to take some photos and found out the batteries are dead in my camera, recharging now. Murphy stikes again!

OK, OK but why not MAKE a "Reborn" 3 ml Phoenix MV TOO? :toast:

Seriously the only problem with them IMHO was the price and a few coils miss set with the cup like the XL's.

You make an update (all the coils i got were good) and it's SHORTER and only holds 1/2 what the 3 ml did, talk about one step forward and two back!

To me, it would have been far simpler to adjust the length of the machine that cuts off the plastic tube than to retool to make the air tube shorter. I also wonder why all that blank space is between the inner seal and the tip. Seems like wasted capacity to me cut common to all of the CE3s.

Agree 100%. I bought 4 of the shorties. I actually just use those heads with the 3ml tubes when they need replacing. The 1.2's definitely should not have made it to the street in my opinion. Another prime example of two steps forward...1 step back. If anything they should have made a longer one that actually holds 3 ml.

Here's the photo. My apologies for the poor photography but my camera bit the bullet and I ended up using another that just doesn't cut the mustard. You can see the added length and cut down tip in it though. I was careful to measure how much liquid went into each one. I filled them both to the wick koles rather than "full" full. The standard one took .9ml and the modified one took 1.1ml, and improvement of about 20%. Does this make me a modder?
