Got the Prometey! Well for who it was intended - it didnt work out. Vape is too warm for hubs liking..GAWD, I REALLY HATE THAT. Now, guess I'll have to suffer and use it. :headbang:

Yes, I'm loving it! Will need more - I believe I have found my utopia. I need to get the fluff right with my DIY - use to vape max VG now more like 50/50 while I experiment with different recipes. Flooded and leaked - stuffed more fluff in now it's vaping bliss! Glad I stalked you Roxy and thank you so much for all you do

I'm the one who bought the other :). I had a v2, which I gave to Hurricane girl because I was getting that v3. Its a little different than the v2, and I had to double my fluff. So glad you like it. They are perfect tootle tanks and easy to use. Your post had me freaked at first, naughty, naughty! I knew you had bought the second :)

I wicked mine the exact same way I wick my Erls. I use rayon and have it thick at the shoulders, and just a wispy tail going down the juice channels. That sounds pretty similar to what Roxy does, but I may use less in the channels, not sure.

The Erl is how I developed the dual tank technique :)

These dual tanks all use the same technique with varying tails: Orchid and Mini Buddha with NO tail, all the Aquas, Silverplay, Gus Estia, Goblin Mini, Cthulhu.

Obviously there are others, but I haven't owned them :)

If anyone wants to see builds on any of the things we have talked about, just ask. Others here may contribute as well of course.

The Mini Buddha is single coil, but sets up like a dual coil tank (I guess its like half a dual coil deck, lol!)

I just want to know why everyone else's fluff looks fluffier than mine. I've even tried using as much wick as could humanly be pulled through a coil, but mine never look like two sheep cuddling on the build deck. :(

May be unconventional but I use a load of fluff in the prometey - 50/50 juice - I have the fluff from GP which seems finer in consistency than the aquarium stuff I bought off amazon. I like the GP fluff better as I think it soaks up more liquid and seems to wick the tails better. I use Shiseido (KGD). I pull one side of the compressed fibers off - very thin piece - and leave the other side on. This is the "top" side of my wick for this setup. I use the tiny flat head from a jewelers kit to comb through the wick and separate the two tails in half - top and bottom. The bottom I place on the deck - the top with the compressed side curls up to the fluff. I think the compressed side of the wick helps hold it up there...sounds good anyways lol

Pics later tomorrow - work in 4 hours. Ugh...

Yep, rayon. Its quite fluffy and sheep like :)

Try blowing on it or using a little screwdriver to fluff it up.

Thanks for the suggestions, @TrollDragon, @MsLoud, & @roxynoodle. I'll try some of them and see if increased fluff results in a better vape.

Speaking of better vape (or hopefully longer), I should be getting vape mail tomorrow. I'm expecting four batteries, which will be real handy given that I accidentally bought an iStick 100W a couple of weeks ago. Maybe not accidentally, but more unintentionally.

Rip Tripper just posted a video of two good mods under $50, the IPV D2 for TC and the iStick 100 for VW.

I bought both of them two week ago. I bought the IPV D2 first, along with batteries and a charger, and although I planned to buy another mod in a while, I couldn't resist the iStick 100W for $28, shipped. Problem was, it was another week before I could afford batteries, too.

Actually, it is the awesome mod buy of 2015 :)

If nothing else, the battery life is fantastic and the ohmmeter is very accurate. The finish is good and its comfy for a big mod. Fasttech has nice silicone sleeves.

I accidentally almost bought an iStick 100W, too, today. In fact, the page is still open and I might accidentally give in to temptation! :D

Vapor Beast right now has the iStick 100W on sale for $31.95. And if you use the coupon code "lincoln" it brings it down to $26 and change. That's why I'm so tempted.

I vaped it for half a day, before I used the batteries for the IPV D2. Not much a button rattle, so maybe I got lucky or they've done something to fix it. I'm hoping for good battery life, especially if it's parallel. I went with the LG HG2, 3000mAhs. Will that really mean I might have 6000 mAh?

That's where I got mine, and it arrived wicked fast.
