I tootle, I womp and I may even cloud chase depending on your definition of cloud chasing. Is vaping at 0.3 ohm with quad coils or dual Claptons cloud chasing?
"I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you"
Thank you, Mr. Clapton, for many decades of amazing music.
And coils that look like guitar strings![]()

Yeah buddy. But I bet you won't catch 'em.
Andria
Yes, we need to get you FDA proofed, too
I don't know that the factory heads for the subohm tanks are any better than the tootle ones are. Seriously, if we can find you the right rebuildable, the aggravation level goes down by 95%
That Squape may have a vacuum issue so it may not be you. The good news is I can probably have it fixed in 2 minutes for you.
I wish there was a Love button for that Dueling Banjos thing, DP lollol..It's a great thread, Roxy - and I mean that. It's all about gear, and there's a place for that (and for EVERYTHING) in our great, big, vapin' world.
I'll only speak for myself in stating that I was just having fun with the Dueling Banjos thing.
That's where I was getting 'em for years, Krisma, until I found this place! Not a single dead one in the bunch and I've bought hundreds. Ninety-five cents each and he ships by weight. Five for $4.95Andria I get mine from Hoosier Ecigs. Reasonable shipping to us and very fast processing.

I never buy sub-ohm factory heads, Roxy. Only 2.5 BOY I WISH I HAD AN OHM SYMBOL IN THIS FONT! lol ohm coils. The bad news is that only You can fix it, Roxy!

Anyway!
Roxy, I am so far from ever lapsing back into cigarettes, it's laughable. I not only don't miss cigarettes a'tall (dueling banjos playing lol) I can honestly say I will never smoke again. If the vapocalypse comes, I have enough 24g Kanthal, organic cotton wool and Noalox to last until hell freezes over. If it came to the prices going through the roof, I'd simply vape the way I once smoked. I'd stop what I was doing, leave the office, and go out and vape an RDA. (Explaining a copper Nemmy is gonna be a Bea-yatch w/security lol...I'll take the Stingray!)
I am completely and utterly safe from RTA shinyitis, which IMHO, is a good thing. Heck, that's a lot more dangerous than the vapocalypse is. Armegaddon's a maybe. Me clicking "Buy" makes it absolutely certain lol...
I love my 2.4 ohm factory coils because they taste wonderful, make a thoroughly acceptable amount of fluffy, ploomy vapor, taste amazing, and I get about 3 weeks out of one, unless a coffee or chocolate burns it out quicker...it's worthitIdon'tcarelol.. They're ninety-five cents, Roxy. Not two or three bucks..
I do need to figure out a way to dispose of these better than what I'm doing now...but that's another thread. Disposing of coils..
And you are TOO a Modwomper LOL...I gotta get. I appreciate the offer, I really do!![]()
only if you cant see the TV after exhaling![]()
Please industry, keep making the old stuff that no one else seems to want anymore.![]()
FDA-proofing is the only reason I'm attracted to building and I save old coils to rebuild plus I figure there will be enough warning to invest in whatever the best is on the market at the time regulations went into effect. The landscape changes too much to grab something now if I'm not interested in it for current use.Yes, we need to get you FDA proofed, too

I would love a kabuki. I've got a fascination with anything produced by Zen. It's beyond my budget right now.
Huge plumes of vapor are a turn off for me. I have some set ups I don't use much because the produce too much vapor; set off smoke alarms, makes windows sticky, can't see, make me cough and don't contribute to flavor enough for the hassle.
I think sometimes people make assumptions about why I'm not interested in doing my own coils. #1 is convenience. If I don't have something ready to vape, then I risk grabbing a pack of smokes instead. It's hard enough to keeping batteries and hardware charged and working 24/7 and that's my first priority.
I have low tolerance for fiddling and fixing. I wish life was different right now but its not. Way too much of my time is spent on things that aren't rewarding, maintenance that I'm kidding myself to add on anything else because it won't happen. I don't think I'm alone in that other than most vapers in an online forum are going to be more enthusiastic about gear. Even the b&m shops don't seem to carry much for the intermediate tootie vape. I bristle every time I hear stuff I'm interested in called "beginner" just because it doesn't require fiddling. I do wire wrapping with jewelry so my ability to wrap a coil isn't my worry. I just don't want to anymore than I want to clean toilets.
There are only a handful of attys I can use on older gear which I still like. It's nice to have a variety of options including rda's like egrip and subtank, but there must be about 30 tanks with only subohm coils and 10x's that number of rta's only. Forget dripping. That's not on the table. Comparatively the number of tanks 1.3 ohm and up is pathetic and that's stupid.
I was really disappointed that isubs only offered 0.05 coils. That's way too much vapor.

My issue with wicking is about the taste of the cotton/rayon. Everyone says it is brilliant but it tastes like stale shower steam. I vape mints/menthols and you would think they overpower everything but my taste buds don't agree with cotton or rayon. Yet throw a silica wick in anything and I am good to go.
I only rewick one set of rebuildables (Sophia's) the rest are all factory made Cartos and coils and that's only because I have one eliquid that is finicky to wick. @Kim B. I want fuss free and something I understand and trust. I know there are duds but you can pick it straight away. They don't fail mid vape.
I have a raspberry limeaide juice that tastes pretty swampy with a cotton wick, much better tasting with silica. The main reason I use cotton wicked coils is because most of the manufacturers of premade coils I use switched to cotton wicking, and then there was the whole "better for you" thing too. It took me a while to get used to the taste of cotton, can't say that I really prefer it in most cases, although some of my tobacco flavored juices do taste better with cotton.
I want the best flavor but I've discovered if I have to make a choice convenience wins. Part of my issue is that I don't vape at home that much and don't have a dedicated area for vaping stuff. So that 2min needs to include dragging whatever I need out and putting it away again. I also DIY (which I do enjoy) which adds a lot of stuff.
