I am so glad that you enjoy them!
Thanks for the video and nice reviews.

About using the venting holes on the Precious: I think that using the plastic fishing wire is as thin and secure as possible. Better and safer than metal and thinner too.
Use two adjacent holes for this, so that it will still allow the usage of AW batteries (hopefully).

About high drain batts: can someone vouch that using them gives a better hit than the AW2600mAh or the black/red Trustfires? I can not find a difference between them while using AW IMR's compared to the black/red Trustfires other than the much smaller capacity of the IMR's.
The Precious hits exactly the same with both (tested on multimeter and perceived vapor on LR's)

I will be back home end of May and will work harder to ship them out ASAP without neglecting quality ;)

Until then will read and respond when possible.
C.
Glad to hear from you !Hope all is well

Hoosier, I can't believe you are so patient LOL. My Precious shipped the same day as yours and made it all the way to California on Monday 05/17. Like Chucklehead said "Stay away from the 6v, 3.7v hits like a deamon. Yours should be arriving soon.

You have more faith in the USPS than I do. Got some cartos to throw at it too... I type more patient than I really am...

I wouldn't be surprised if you got yours tomorow, mine came in out of the blue, shipment status never changed from NYC. I feel your pain though, being very impatient myself.

I have done 6v on the L, it's nice, but 3.7 all week long is better. (ok, maybe not all week)

I'm glad you all liked the review, thank you. :)

Caesar: When you get back, you send my bribe (cough), I mean free gift. LOL

I have a very important question. Will the Precious work if I'm wearing gloves? I'm an ironworker, in Wisconsin, winters get cold and I wear gloves. So if it won't work, I need to know before I order one. LOL
SORRY :( A resistance switch needs two electrodes to be physically in contact with something electrically conductive (for example a finger) to operate. They work by lowering the resistance between two pieces of metal. It is thus much simpler in construction compared to the capacitance switch. Placing one or two fingers across the plates achieves a turn on or closed state. Removing the finger(s) from the metal pieces turns the device off.

That's exactly what I thought. I'm gonna have some cold hands.

Ok, I'm having trouble with my Precious. It started when I switched batteries tonight, as I was tightening the atomizer on it came on by itself and would not go off until I loosened the atomizer. So in order to use it I have to tighten and loosen the atty. I wiped off the atomizer and cleaned the connector in case some liquid had spilled in there and it keeps doing this. I tried a 510 carto with the same results, I'm going to try different batteries to see if this is the problem. Any suggestions to fix this.

Sorry to hear this. First thing I would do is email Caesar. Other then that, if you have a multimeter, you could do a resistance check on the top between the coil and the positive/center terminal on the connector. If it is shorted, then the top/switch has failed. Also (not to insult intelligence), the battery is in + side down right?

He warranties the mod, and expect he will really want to get a hold of the top to troubleshoot it.

My confidence in my Precious has gotten to the point that I don't even carry a backup other then an atty. Note to self, carry a backup :)

My suggestion would be to first (as JR stated) contact Caesar. I would think that something is causing the switch to stay activated, like spilt juice. (obviously, I know) I'm thinking something got inside the switch housing and is keeping it on. You could take some rubbing alcohol and pour it onto the switch, and it should also get into the switch housing and hopefully clean out whatever is in there. The rubbing alcohol will evaporate quicly and should leave it clean.

I replied to the e-mail you sent me but will write it here too so that other know if it happens to them.

Mine has landed in water yesterday. I washed it very well to get all the mud out then put it in the oven at 110C (100-120C should work well) for 30min.
Let it cool another 15min. and it worked like new.

I would try the alcohol first. Then the method descrived above.
You can also let it soak in alcohol or water overnight without any issues. It will work again after drying.
Just don't heat it over 150C.

Let us know what you did!

I have to be honest. That is sooo frigging cool. The builder is telling us we can soak it in alchohol or water and put it in the oven (<150C have to google that for Fahrenheit!) without any issues! Most would never do that...\\ Can't wait to hear if this fixes it!!! Good luck jcamacho!

I had a similar experience to yours jcamacho. It turned out that I had some juice on the fingertip that I use to activate the touch sensor and when I pulled my finger off the sensor it kept on firing. Quickly I removed the atomizer and used a tissue to clean the sensor switch and all was perfect again.
