From what has been said, the bottom portion of the strata is a preciseplus except the strata has knurling at the bottom, all you would need to have a P+ would be a top cap.

If it was me, I would buy a P+ as soon as possible. My reasoning for this is that David said that you will be able to buy the strata tank portion separately to be used on your P+ 18***. The separate tank portion may or may not be available at the same time as the strata launch. I have an 18350 and am hoping that the tank portion is available at the same time so I can just buy the tank but if not I will pick up the entire 18500 strata because it will be interchangeable with my 350.

OTOH, though, I think that whenever there is a new product coming out, Super T fans and customers should be more entitled to get it first. Meaning, a Super T device is so exclusive that then, this makes total sense to me, as in you become part of a top notch club, Ferrari, Lambo sort of...
Furthermore, not only should they -regular customers- be entitled to get a product first, but even get the possibility to "upgrade" their PrecisePlus, in this case, into The Strata Experience, by means of buying a Tank First; before/ at the same time the Precise Strata is launched. This goes a long way, since it would not only make PrecisePlus owners feel "less lucky", but on the contrary; it would be a VIP treat to them, thus, dignifying their Super T APV's status further...

Despite the fact fans out there will likely buy a full Strata all the same, it just would be a nice touch to make PrecisePlus owners feel "oh-yeah-fortunately-I-have-one-Super-T-already-and-that-puts-me-in-a-better-position-for-my-new-purchase" INSTEAD OF "oh-....-lucky-.......s-the-ones-who-havent-yet-bought-one-for-they-have-more-money-now-more-choices-they-go-first-etc"

Maybe this could be compensated by having a first batch of Beta Stratas sold just for current P owners !? Who's with me !?

I kinda agree with revolver and I kinda agree with snork.I know of at least 2 people with everything Super T,and would love to be guaranteed to get a Strata(if you want one,and who don't?)

I think the first come, first served model David has always used works alright. I don't have enough money to throw around and buy every PV Super T has ever made. Would be nice to have them if I had money to burn, but I don't, so I have the 3 I've bought that are used regularly. OTOH, as you said, it would be nice as a Super T PV owner to get first chance at some items, but I worry others and I would get out classed by people with more Super T PV's and money.

On the Strata, I would come up with money somewhere to buy that PV. The design is beautiful.

Just my opinions...take it for what it's worth, which is probably very little.

I dont know if ladymama even gets special treatment because I seem to remember sometime last year when LM was still waiting for a p+ long after their launch not sure if that is correct but somethin along those lines.

That is kinda how I felt when I read revolvers post, but I think what he is saying is why should it be that a loyal customer has to wait for months to buy an upgrade or add-on when a brand new customer gets the new upgraded version. I personally dont think that there should be a guarantee to get one but I think that the upgrade being available at close to the same time as the full strata would be very nice for all the current Precise18*** owners and most people would not be buying that upgrade unless they owned a P18***(unless they wanted to scalp it in the classies) So, I think that would kinda be a compromise in my eyes but like I said before if the addon is not available at the same time I will more than likely be buying the full 18500 strata. I hope none of this will cause any drama because I do not think that was revolvers intention and it is definitely not mine.

I can see the.point of existing long time customers getting VIP treatment. But I don't agree. That is exactly why i am not stalking the Z forums, the same thing happens there, and is a turn-off.

I have never bought a Super T apv primarily because, though beautifully crafted, they didn't suit my vaping needs. I have however bought many batteries and chargers from Super T. Is that enough "status" to push ahead of a newb??? I think not.

My suggestion would be simple. When they are available, put your money on the table, and buy one. Any pecking order other than cash will turn more new customers away, than it will attract. Don't push your way to the front of the line because you think you are entitled to, stand in Line with the other customers. You and Super T will gain a lot more respect. Not to imply you are not now respected revolver, or Super T. But it is a concern, and is why i have removed myself from the list on Z site. I can't deal with vape snobs.

being a return customer doesn't entitle one to be the first people to have whatever is new. Maybe a loyalty reward of some sort sure why not.. but in any business, new customers are a priority and equates success. Think cable companies, cellphone subscribers. Ever wonder why new customers get better discounts? Also, i am sure alot of people did try other pvs before purchasing precises.. Help them out by starting with some of the best PVs out there.. fcuk trial and error. so yeah..

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with "special treatment", but I'd say that eventually the "noobs" learn just like the rest of us did and become "vets". It's part of the endless cycle of just about everything, not just vaping.

Coming from someone who's purchased numerous items from super t, I don't think it makes sense to give returning customers first priority on the Strata. Adding a rebuildable to the line of products they offers potentially totally changes their customer demographic, so why limit all of that new business?
