I was going to go the tank, and vv device route, but then learned about the genisis style apv's. And now I think i have settled on one, strata. Let's face it, I only vape at a max of 4v, and only use 1.8 ohm 306 attys. So vv would be a waste.on me. Adjust the air flow, adjust the number of windings on a coil, and I will be a happy camper. Now all I need is a bigger battery, and a bigger reservoir. LOL

You can always Kick it if you need more.....

After reading all the subsequent post to mine, I must say I'm glad revolver replied "I totally related to 'the ones who revert to a child mentality when they want something' from you post... Heeee..." I fully see the type of mentality I'm dealing with here.

It was the remark that "people who already own Super T products, should get first shot at the Strata" which promted my post.

The likes of Salky, basscase,MrAftrmth have my full respect, as I think they know where I'm comming from. I have NO PROBLEM waiting in line like everyone else to own a Super T product. I had e-mail correspondences with David dating back to March of this year, begging him to develope a rebuildable atti. I got sick of all the great stuff being developed in Europe and Croatia. I wanted some of our premiere USA Mod builders to step it up. I'm delighted with this Strata more than anyone knows. The fist statement I made was "The real shame here is not enough of them will be made so EVERYONE will have a chance to own one". I said that for a reason. The purpose of why Newbs loose out statement, was to invoke another thought to David. Why not do a run of 500 or 1000 so everyone will get one? People join the vaping community EVERYDAY, and sooner or later, they will hunt Super T down, and buy one. So the worry of having PV's left over, or unsold seems ridiculous to me. I am a Prime example. I want a P+18650, and I will wait till Hell freezes over, or until my lungs give out, to own one. I will not, and never will, buy a second hand PV from someone who A. Does not deserve to have it in the first place if he's selling it. B. Bought it with the full intention of selling it to make a profit. Half the pride of owning a fine piece is knowing it came from the man who made it. Point "A" is a bit harsh, I understand that.

Digging through pages and pages of posts to see when something is available for sale, is insane from a business standpoint.
Thats why I said "Dont worry, all the vets will get one" because its the vets who mostly do this, and will in all likelyhood get one before anyone else. Once again, I dont have a problem with that. The Zen~ master has a new site, with "Inform me when product available" even. He's on the right track. He announces on the forum, and you also get an e-mail letting you know its time to pay up, or loose.

Like another poster who said they "Quit the forums". I just did the same thing myself at Vapor wall. Why? Because I wanted a Line V2 or Line SS really bad. After waiting MONTHS for the thread to unlock and signup, I read where Master Van and Co. decided to go ahead with the "Silver Dog". It is pretty obvious they only have the capacity to do one run at a time, and of one type of product. I will never be able to purchase a killer rebuildable atty from them. So my relentless forum watching was all in vane. I REALLY hope David at Super T, is not following this trend. From someone on the outside looking in, it sure seems that way.

This forum is the absolute best to find out whats going on in the vaping world, and to get informed. 99.9% percent of the people here are great, and I would be proud to call a friend. The .01%, can.....well you know. Trying to do an effective business, without an up to date and accurate website is not effective, IMO.

This may all sound like ranting, but I really believe it needed to be said.

Respectfully signed:

"Newbi who hopes to own a P+18650 (and the rest) one day, from the man who made it"

The one second may have had something to do with my blazing 7 mbps DSL line, but the one penny was the result of superior psychological warfare tactics.

Your funny Snork, blazing 7mbps...lol I have 30mbps download and 25mbps upload.... when every mili second counts....

Ahhhhhhh D@MNIT!!!

So I go away for a week on a cruise and this is what I come back too? I'm super excited about this new product and praying my .... off that this will not be a limited run cause this is exactly what I have been dreaming about. The only problem is that now Super Dave is sold out of P+ 18500's and that's what I was going to snatch up BEFORE I went on the cruise but decided I should hold that cash in my pocket for the casino on the boat. Guess what, I walked away from the ship with exactly $185 bucks of their cash in my pocket. I didn't even check the forums when I first got home and went straight to the site to try and snatch me one up. NOPE! All gone. So I mosey over here and find not only break outs of The Simplicity but also of this new rebuild-able I have been waiting on! This Strata looks so bad ... I just know he is going to have a hit on his hands like you wouldn't believe. Adjustable draw, unbreakable wicks, knurled steel! I am in heaven. You wouldn't believe all of the reactions I go when people saw my P+10 at the tables....Imagine what they'd see if they saw me squanking on this b-boy. I know I am rambling but I am just stoked! Can't wait till it hits. Any word on a new shipment of P+ 18500's? I got to have one now for sure plus my P+10 needs a face lift but I can't go without at least one Satin Smoker in my posession.

Zippersnapper... I think it's pretty incorrect to compare how David runs his business to the folks at Vaporwall (part-time modders, with some great ideas trying to help people out). You may wait a month or two depending on demand, but you WILL get a Super-T product that you're looking for, if it's still being produced. The only exception I've seen to that is the Evolv Kick, and that was only the first run or two, and David was just a distributor for that product, not the manufacturer.

I hate to try and sound like you wasted your time making that post, but really I'm trying to give you good news. There are no lists to sign up for. There are no flashflood sales where his website crashes. I haven't seen product go up for sale and then be gone within 24 hours. If anything, he will estimate a wait time, so you can order what you want, and then he will do his best to meet the timeline he put forth when you originally purchased the item. One thing, however. He will NEVER rush out your purchase before it is ready. It will be perfect in form and function before he ships it out - if this means an extra week, he will take that extra week to make sure you get the product you deserve.

I think that you being relatively new have stumbled into a new development in the vaping world - other forums with lists run by one or two man operations, a lot of the time overseas. This is not the status quo for the vaping world, and it sounds like it left a sour taste in your mouth. I'll repeat - this is not how David does business. He has been here and weathered the storm. He is deliberate and steady. I'm pretty sure this is exactly what you're looking for.

Take a deep breath and relax :) You will get the Super-T product you're looking for. And it's a great product :)

Imagine it going smoothly and it seems like that's the way he does it. I'll be waiting and it seems like that's the way he performs. I'm a noob but already convinced. Sorry if me going for a Strata makes people upset who have P+. I'm really happy to join another forum. I'm a GG guy and love it. But I am looking forward to trying new things. I hope that doesn't make me a bad participant. I love all these mods and wish every one a chance to try out all of these innovations. Peace all!!

Yeah, the vets are crazy. I have asked a question and has a reply with multiple links to other (some old and obscure) posts in what seems like seconds. How do they do that?

As far as production numbers go, I'm sure they are not limited by what they think they can sell but by the money it costs for raw materials, tooling, r&d, and labor. I'm sure they would love to put out thousands, but it may not be financially possible. Remember, we are dealing with a small business, not a huge conglomerate.

I really appreciate your post, and agree with it. You also have my respect, as is the case with most of the Vaping vets.
I meant to compare Super T to Vapor Wall on only 1 point. That production of new ideas will put production of older MODS on the backburner. Thats it.

Don't you think CromsDog post just validated everything I just said? I do. Your very kind in understanding vaptamist, and I wish you well. I will wait for a Super T. They are worth it.

Yes I am a Newbie. But I did start vaping (trying to) well over 5 years ago, when this industry was not even born, and the stupid "Blue type" stuff was all there was. So I have been around the block, if you will. This is exciting times, and thanx to all the great inventors and vapors, we now have products that will actually keep people off the coffin nails, for good. Like myself.

I really do hate drama, so this will be my last post in this regards. I just hope I raised an eyebrow, to a great vaping asset like David, and a Master craftsman indeed. God Bless.

all i really want is a comprehensive instruction manual similar to that available for the gg.
:)

Hi erictho, Did you ever get your P+ issues worked out and were you able to get instructions on it? I think i had linked some videos to you on the Oring and switch set up, but don't know if that helped you or not? I don't know if you know this since you bought your P+ from one of my dealers, but it does have a lifetime warranty on it, so if you want me to set up for your particular battery/atomizer combination and check it over, i can, no charge.

I actually got mine direct, and did not receive any instructions.

Not upset, just wanted to point that out. I did not really need any, but was not aware that instructions came with them.

Yeah, they aren't rocket science to use..

So this won't fit on another mod? Dang......:(

She got hers from a dealer atavanhalen and she didn't get the instructions.
Oh I see, maybe you can forward your instruction manual to your dealers so they can print them out for each sale. Seems that might be a pretty easy solution as long as the dealers are willing to do so.

I actually think that the instructions probably get thrown away quite often because they are printed on a piece of printer paper and one might think it was just the packing slip, not saying that is what happened with you just throwing it out there as a possibility.
