Yeah, they aren't rocket science to use..

So this won't fit on another mod? Dang......:(

You are right but I think it can be confusing if you buy one that does not come with any spare washers or o-rings (classifieds), battery might not fit or rattles around, or the switch does not fire because it doesnt reach the battery. If you know about the o-rings and washers then it is easy peasy but if you dont it might be a bit frustrating.

Just wondering... how is the coil secured to the base of the rebuildable atomizer?

screw/crimp/wrap or something better?

or has this not been finalized yet...

Just curious, no hard feelings if you dont wish to share the details :glare:

my curiosity is itching to see what you guys are doing for the proprietary wick...

Oh I see, maybe you can forward your instruction manual to your dealers so they can print them out for each sale. Seems that might be a pretty easy solution as long as the dealers are willing to do so.

I actually think that the instructions probably get thrown away quite often because they are printed on a piece of printer paper and one might think it was just the packing slip, not saying that is what happened with you just throwing it out there as a possibility.

I never make mistakes, so that is impossible.

JK. that is entirely possible :)

Hi erictho, Did you ever get your P+ issues worked out and were you able to get instructions on it? I think i had linked some videos to you on the Oring and switch set up, but don't know if that helped you or not? I don't know if you know this since you bought your P+ from one of my dealers, but it does have a lifetime warranty on it, so if you want me to set up for your particular battery/atomizer combination and check it over, i can, no charge.

i found out today what causes my problem. when i use my 510 adaptor, sometimes the adaptor pushes the center post of the carto in too far, which causes the issue. yesterday i tossed a freshly filled carto inside a tank after only a couple hours of use because i thought that once occurred, the carto must be tossed. after reading the newest thread on this topic, i experienced the "shorting out" on a carto i filled saturday night. i took that opportunity to look at the center post, and sure enough it was depressed. i took a pin and moved the post down, and now i'm able to vape with that very same carto without problems. i guess it's too bad that i tossed 5 cartos due to this, but oh well. that's only $9.25 gone, and i know what to do now to remedy the issue. i am also now aware of some precautions to take, like removing the adaptor when filling a tank.
thanks for checking up on me, and sending me info. i did figure out how to assemble the pv properly for my battery, and all is working well. i can now anticipate when this has happened, and i've started looking at that center post before attempting to use it on the pv. i notice a hesitation in performance in the pv, which usually is indicative of the center post being depressed. if you catch it at this point the battery doesn't heat up.

as for the other comments, i know that the precise + isn't exactly a very difficult piece to figure out. even though i did review threads in the past prior to purchase (and my amnesia regarding the existence of this forum), i used the pv with the battery rattling and throw not ideal. it took me an exact week to figure out my pv came with washers/o-rings because they were in the black velvet bag that came with the precise.
i really am a follow-the-instructions prior to use, ask-for-directions-when-lost type of girl.

Adding a serial number would by no means make this a bourgeois device, it just adds an extra level of uniqueness and quality to the pv that can only be fully achieved by a tangible element of personalization and individuality. Plus, I think it's pretty idealistic and unrealistic to consider a revolutionary $250+ hybrid PV an item "for the proletariat". JoyeTechs and Malboro reds with the pack of matches they give you when you buy em are the tools of the proletariat.

Prolitariate? Bourgeoisie? Y`all gonna make me break out my dictionary. I don't care whether or not it has a s/n or not. The fact that it's in my hand makes it mine. Plus my dumb ... will scratch it up enough to make it unlike anybody else's. I just hope it comes ut soon, with Super T precision, and I get one of the first ones. Let the GG and Zen dudes fight over s/n no s/n models. Oh, and I also want a GPS unit installed inside so I can find it when I lose it.

After a bit of thought, I'm not going to be putting serial numbers on the Precise Strata. I tried it on the Shockwave, which is cool, but going forward, i won't be doing that on the Precise Strata.

Well, I think the Strata's quality and uniqueness speaks for itself. I still think, though, that a number/signature might slow down the copiers from distant lands. I said, might.

Hmmm. Serial numbers make me think of collectors items.

That is fine if that is what you are into. I am not there. I have a few PV's but nothing sits on the shelf to be dusted. A couple tend to be back ups but most get used daily.

Now that said while I wouldn't be interested there is going to be a market for special/limited editions that can be serial numbered. These are also useful vehicles for testing new ideas that are ready for production.
