I would assume they would have both, one for polished Precises/Shockwave, and one for the Precise Plus line/Satin Shockwave...... ???

Great to hear. I do prefer the satin though as it is not a fingerprint magnet. I hit my DID genesis atty with 220 / 400 / 800 to scuff it up a bit to make it some what match my P 18+ a bit.

Something to consider is that in many Genesis mods, the fill hole doubles as an air inlet. In order for juice to wick properly, air has to be able to get into the juice resevoir. If you seal the tank airtight, your wick won't wick properly. So how do you let air in without letting liquid out? Unless you can solve this brain teaser, you'll probably either have leaks or poor wicking.

I say try it sealed and see whether you agree. If wicking is an issue, then consider adding a thin chamber between the tank and the heater with a hole in the top and bottom, but the two holes on opposing sides of the PV (180° apart).

I should mention too, width comes in at only 20mm! (same as the PrecisePlus 18350/18500/18650) Length varies as we are still playing with just how long we want the tank. This tank atomizer combo will also be sold seperate for existing PrecisePlus owners and will screw on in place of your existing top cap on all 18350/18500/18650 PrecisePlus's.

So, have you decided on a tank size yet? If so what is the capacity and how long will the tank atomizer combo for existing precise+ owners be? Target price for this combo? If this is as good as I'm hoping I think my Reo minis may be headed for the classified listings.

I believe that he has said he was aiming for 4ml on the tank, and the target price for the full strata apv is low 200s. Not sure about just the tank portion.

I think 3ml of juice in my pocket and an empty tank classifies as a leak in all definitions . No I don't mean the slight leaking from condensation I mean that a full tank empties in a few minutes in certain positions.

Oh yes, this can and does happen. It is far less likely to happen if the fill hole has a screw in it but it can be much harder to get things wicking right with the larger inlet holes that people are using these days too.

Some designs that incorporate the closed tank rely on a smaller inlet hole to create a good vacuum in the chamber to pull juice up the wick. This works well against leaking but you have to learn exactly how to draw on them because these setups will give dry/burnt hits of not drawn hard enough and harsh flooded hits if drawn too hard.

In the end, most Genisis mods require a bit of learning both in setup and use since they are all really designed to be ideal for the person building then and so if you did not initially design it you need to learn how that person vaped in order to get the most out of the device.

Perhaps a stupid question, but here it is anyway. I use cartos and tanks almost exclusively, which leaves me wondering something about the rebuildable atty.. never having used a rebuildable before and the Strata will be my first, what do all of you who are using different rebuildables already do when you want to change flavors? I mean I'm guessing I can clean out the tank with some warm water and soap, this seems to work fine with higher-end tanks made out of pyrex and steel, less so on the crappier Smoktech tanks where any really strong flavor seems to get embedded in the plastic forever until you throw it out, but how do you get the flavor of something out of a rebuildable? Do you need to physically change the wick in order to start fresh or is it not a issue?

I just use up all that's in the tank, syringe out any little bit that's left in the bottom that the wick can't get to.. then dry burn the wick a little bit and put the new juice in. Works with everything I've used except the really strong flavors like menthol and cinnamon. In those cases fill the tank with water and syringe it out once or twice then dry burn to get rid of the remaining water in the wick. I wouldn't get near my tank with soap. Taking the tank off is a good way to disturb the coils, and when you get them working perfectly you really don't wanna mess them up. Quartz and stainless steel tanks in the good rebuildable PVs aren't going to soak up flavors like plastic can.

Edit to add: If you really feel like you need more cleaning oomph than plain water provides use food safe alcohol like high proof vodka or everclear. Do you really want to be inhaling soap residue? I certainly don't!
