Because of the leaking, i put a carto tank back on until i can look at the o-rings. The lack of flavor with the cart tank is very noticeable after using the Reactor. I am usually a dripper, but lately i have been using the carto tank for convenience.

Thanks for the help.

Sorry we can't seem to get you fixed up dmj. It's a really odd problem, considering that there have been so few problems otherwise. If you want, you can send it directly to me or back to Drew and we'll fix her up and get it back to you in no time.

Here's an innovapor tip - looks pretty nice on it.

Ok...I've tried 100% VG which still leaks just not as much.

100% PG pours out like a water fall before I even put the cap on.

80/20 and 90/10 comes out after 2 or 3 puffs.

I tried turning it upside down when putting the cap on and also holding the bottom and blowing into it. Didn't work.

The leaking is faster when the liquid level is above the holes in the atomizer, and slows down once it's level or just below the holes.

I do not have one of these tanks but I have had this trouble with other tanks. It sounds like pressure is built up in the tank and pushing all the juice out . Did you pull the top cap off to fill the tank or did you pull the atty down and then fill? If you pulled the top off when you push it back on all the air below the cap creates pressure and will just push the juice out. Hope this helps.
Well I now have one of these now since I picked one up at Vapestock today. Have had no trouble with it leaking or flooding except for a very small amount of excess juice right after I fill the tank. Was told to fill and put cap on till o ring touches and then turn upside down to push cap on to prevent juice coming out. That is what each time I filled or topped it off without any troubles.

Hey Cuse, thanks. I keep hoping i will find the problem. Drew commented on holding the holes and blowing through it before putting on the device. I don't know for sure if i am doing that correctly or if i understood what he meant.

My problem is also that it leaks when it is above the holes but slows or stops when below. It may be important that it continues to vape way below the holes. Does that mean the juice is feeding through the bottom of my atty instead of through the holes in the atty? It definitely seems to be leaking through the hole in the bottom of the atty. Should I adjust the bottom of the atty center pin?

Looking at the pictures, and the fact that you say it still leaks with the liquid below the holes, I am almost certain that it is an o-ring problem. You could try getting some from a hardware store. If it were me I would contact nHaler or Vaperfexion about sending it in to have it repaired.

Yes, somehow I missed this pic. It sure does look like a bad o-ring. I can get you o-rings, faster than the entire unit turnaround, if you wanted to try that. You need a dental pic or something equivalent to remove the top cap inner ring, since it sits fairly high inside. Easy to replace though.

I'll second that, every time I've had a tank leak like that it was due to o-rings being damaged. Have to be very careful with any tank when pushing cartos or attys through the o-rings and make sure everything is lined up correctly. Also putting some eliquid on the o-rings before helps as well.

Very cool of you Cuse to keep after dmj's problem, I'm positive a new set of rings for the tank will fix his issue.

There is a learning curve with this tank, I'm about 50-50 so far getting good hits. When its a little gurgly it hits really well, that lasts for 2-3 hits and then it gets like the hit before dratty. Some hard pulls seem to get it back to slightly gurgly and hitting really well. If that doesn't work I take the top off and replace like Drew showed and that gets it back to performing really well. I like it a lot and as I use it more I'll get the hang of it, the atty in it is really good and hits better than a carto when primed correctly. The flavor is cleaner than a carto, very nice. Love that first hit after it has sat a while, like a good 306 atty hit. I can see this on an Opus (hope to have one soon) being my go to.

Not to go all off-topic here and I think this item might need its own thread eventually, but here's a pic of the final prototype of the VPX Carto Punch. Visually it hasn't been dressed up yet, so knobs and finishes will change, but works great and has a nice feel. Should be available in a little under 4 weeks at Nhaler and my site.
Sorry Tapatalk always turns my pics sideways!

I have something similar and it's great but for your first one is it possible to make it so it can also punch flanged cartos? I think you would just need to move the punch closer to the edge of the block...

Taking the soft white cap from a carto and putting it in the top of the Atty will also help when pushing your Atty through the bottom caps Oring, when using the bare metal Atty the edges can mess up that O-Ring, so protect it and use the soft carto cap on the Atty when pushing it through :)

I have one of those delrin carto filler adaptors that really helps get things lined up and to fill, takes the edges of the atty / carto out of the equation.

Just for fun, I filled a new DC carto and tank with the same juice I'm using in the Reactor and running the same device and settings there is no comparison. The hit from the Reactor is much better and the flavor really comes through.

On the downside (nothing to do with the Reactor) there is an 8,000 acre wildfire burning about a mile north of my house. Tonight or tomorrow could get very interesting.

I use one too, very handy for juice filling or initial insertion of cartos (and now atties). Great for flanged cartos or if you don't like bottom filling of tanks. But like Matt said, those caps work nearly as well.

I'm worried for you, I hope you stay safe and keep that news source on so you know if you need to get the hell out of Dodge. Best of luck! I hope the fire wasn't started by a smoker.

Thanks siouxsie, we're at the mercy of the wind at this point. Its blowing east now which is ok for us, if it shifts south we're outta here as it will blow the fire right at us. Can see the orange glow from the porch, pretty freaky. Did it make the national news? Been a bad year for fires so far here in northern CO.

Anyway, way off topic...sorry for the thread drift.

Yes we have already addressed that on the production version!

debook.....your situation warrants going off-topic and we all wish you and your family the best of luck and hopefully it misses you. It's all over the National news now. Keep us informed.

Thanks Cuse, we are good and have been watching the air show this morning with all the tankers and helicopters buzzing us on their way to the fire. The fire center is actually about three miles north and the wind is pushing it north away from us. The smoke is pretty bad, if we end up getting out of dodge it will be from the smoke.

Wish I took some pictures of the smoke plume yesterday, was really impressive.
