My two favourite seasons too Delilah :) I ordered a family sized pizza when I was in Anaheim and when it arrived it was humongous! We couldn't even get the box in the fridge at the hotel lol Are pizzas like that everywhere in the USA?

Hahaha....family sized ones are. But the hotel fridges are much smaller than the ones you typically find in our homes. So we can fit a family sized pizza box in our fridge...and our fridge is much smaller than what most homes have. :) There are also tiny pizzas....called personal pizza.

I sure wish the sun would shine...nothing but rain for days. I love fall, but the fall that has brisk days and glorious color, not this dreariness!

I know , I know...just wait, it'll change... but I want it NOW,lol.

Tis running about the same here in NE PA.

We were stunned when we saw the size of the pizza lol and there was only two of us! My sons can eat one of our family sized pizzas themselves and be looking for more afterwards. You get good pizza value for the money :)

Talking of fridges, I just bought the first new fridge I've ever owned and it's got french doors and it's all shiny and new and you can tell I'm in love!

Life is settling down a bit for me now. My daughter has always lived with me but recently my youngest son moved back in when his flatmates went overseas. To say it's been a bit difficult for us all to adjust would be an understatement lol I keep wondering how Andy has managed with his son's returning.

Awww... I'm sorry, but I'm sure on one level it's nice to have him around. Does he have an exit plan? :)

Hi Kay

Lisa, seriously, get the fridge you REALLY want when you move. I kept getting small second hand or refurbished ones because of the cost and now I don't have to go to the @#$%^& supermarket all the time and I don't cook for crowds of people like you do. I could have saved myself so much frustration and time over the years if I'd just bought a decent one in the first place. I really hope you get your dream fridge.

Oh...I'd like to get my dream fridge, but with the whole house buying thing....we need to limit our spending. I'll get a nice one with french door, water & ice. And for now, that will be great. It feels like its twice the size of the one we have now so I'm happy. After a few years perhaps I'll get a nicer one if we can afford it, but I'm just happy to be getting all new appliances. :D

Ali...didn't you just move into a smaller place?

Been here a couple of years now (that's gone quick!) We sold the old house because it was too big with the two boys gone and now with David moving back in, this house feels too small lol Got the floor tiled and bought the fridge so the house is gradually getting updated a bit kitchen reno.jpg samsung fridge.jpg

Buying houses is always stressful I think. On two different occasions we sold houses where the buyer walked in within two hours of them being advertised and paid our asking prices and even that was stressful as we then wondered if we hadn't asked enough! You must have a really good knowledge of house prices by now so luckily you won't be worried about overpaying either.

That's a nice fridge, I've always had a soft spot for bottom freezers. My grandma had one when I was little and it was perfectly situated for small children to get popsicles out of.

Hi Dave :) I've always liked them because it's the least used part of the fridge, so why have it on top?
