We have a funny emergency happening in my home that started last night. Our ice maker in kitchen fridge has a mind of it's own. Usually during the summer is almost stops making ice but acts normally during the cooler months. Past few days its been cranking out ice as would be expected but yesterday speeded up drastically. We flipped up the arm to stop ice making but it it not functioning to cut off ice-making. We are using a bucket to empty the ice container every couple of hours and dust pan/broom to gather ice that tumbles onto floor when door opened EVERY COUPLE OF HOURS!!!!

I don't know if I should cut off the water to it as the freeze/thaw can't be turned off. Just got idea. I think there is a plug, inside, I can unplug.

In Sizzling Texas who'd a tunk one could have "too much" ice from an ice maker.

So extremely glad you and yours came through. And you have electricity!!!!!! Hope you are far from the collapsed crane. News is saying pumping water out of tunnels and subways in NYC will take days. It's going to be a real mess all over the expanded areas. BTW.... they are calling FEMA the "New FEMA." Many thanks for First Responders and Medical persons. Maybe this will help politicians and municipalities to realize we can't survive without these brave people and stop cutting their jobs and benefits.

Hugs, Alice

Just wanted to add that some areas have referendoms to cut funds to First Responders and such. Please read carefully and vote to NOT!!! cut off funding and benefits to those people who help to keep us safe.

I honestly believe you Pietro! Jack tells a interesting story and it is fun reading but I have known you longer!

You keep being the kind and gentle man that Kay has so nicely told us about!

Your wife is a lucky gal!

Good evening, everyone. :)

Had a decent day despite the dreary weather. Got a linked banner up on our website for the Red Cross. The folks at the Red Cross were pleased with our assistance and our plugging them on our site during this difficult time. I love working with folks who enjoy making things happen.

Hi reonauts, I am a new Reo owner that left the world of Genesis and have to say I am glad I did. I have a Reo grand with some vapage bottom atties and an era with a vvgrand... fn awesome to keep 12 mils of juice and no threat of 'juicy pants'... Got that a lot with the gennys. Where do I go from here as a newb to the bottom feed world. Any advice would be appreciated :D
