Karen I have been stalking you on all the threads today. Hope everyone is having a great day! DW is going in for neck surgery Wed, then going home on Thanksgiving. Kinda a strange thanksgiving. But in the past I have just been brought a plate of thanksgiving dinner to eat while on the air, so I am used to it.

Yes, there are a couple of songs. Adam Sandlers "I Love Thanksgiving" is my favorite. But no not really. I also run My 947 and it is playing almost 100% Christmas music now.

A plate of Thanksgiving food is a good thing! But does not compare to sitting around and snacking a couple hours later! Hope you do end up with a good meal!

We used to have thanksgiving up here at the station a few days before. Fried turkey from Popeye's. I think it cost like 50 bucks, but they do entire birds. Yummy. Give me some of that with some corn casserole and my Aunt Mary's stuffin'.

got a turkey breast @ the store tonight and i have some potatoes and a can of green beans from my neighbor so me and oscar got a good turkey day dinner planned

Hey Scott. I'm glad to hear that you got yourself a turkey breast for your Thanksgiving. The way I'm feeling, I don't think I'm going anyplace but my bed. When I went grocery shopping Saturday, I did buy a turkey breast and some turkey wings though. I like turkey anytime so I picked some up because the prices are always good this time of the year.
I did get most of my Christmas shopping done today though - online. The kids decided to give me lists so I went to Amazon and QVC. Just need a present for my landlord's grand daughter and I will be just about done. Still need a BD present for my SIL and my youngest grandson but I think I'm just gonna get them gift cards.

Holy cow, ....did it rain there like it did here? at one point, Lakeway was under nearly a foot of water just a few blocks from our street. I'm nearly pulled up some christmas stuff today. But decided to hold off for the Sunday.
